Emperor's Suites  

I was made to feel very welcome from the outset. My host greeted me literally at the curb as I got out of the taxi. The room (actually, more like a self contained suite) was clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. I loved the location, close to the old city, but far enough away to be very quiet at night time. The room had free wifi and a small kitchenette with all the cooking utensils you'd require. Michelle is a fabulous host, she is thoughtful and wants to make sure you enjoy your stay!

The owner, Michelle is very nice and helpful. She help me to park my car in the nearby area. The apartment design is very romance and the location is very good.

The wireless internet always disconnect.

The owner was extremely helpful in ensuring that we found the location and even saved us a park very close by. The location was fabulous for the time of the year as we were in autumn (early November), so although the weather was nice, the hot days of laying on the beach in the sun had past, so really nice to be so close to everything.

Nice and friendly host. Michelle gave us all necessary information of Split and Croatia. Apartment was difficult to find but Michelle collected us when we where totally lost.

Michelle welcomed us to her rooms and gave us a bit of the history of the building we were in. In addition, the area was very quiet.

Excellent position although hard to find even taxis can't get you there.Just before you arrive you will need to reach the hostess by e mail as she doesn't live there and she has to let you in. She needs to know your arrival times.Her e mail back will give you easy instructions on how to find the place and she will wait for you.You may need to ring if you don't have a computer. The hostess is wonderful and has the full knowledge of the local area. We rented the one bedroom apartment with full facilities. A supermarket around the corner as well as the towns bus terminal. Five minute walk to town centre and waterfront.SpLit is not a big city so it's easy to walk around from this place even to the lovely beaches 10 minutes walk away.

My best experience in Croatia, nothing to complain. Michelle contacted me in advance, helped with free of charge parking in the center of Split, did 20 minutes city guide, provided map with appropriate notes and self-made welcome wine. Room is decorated according to the title which is a bit funny, but overall moderately and nice. I already spent several days on travel, so personal washing machine in the room was very good surprise.

I'm first time in Croatia, so I thought that exterior pictures shows real buildings of this hotel. No, they're just nice views of the ancient buildings around. :-)

This place is amazing! Michelle who runs the apartments is so helpful. Before we arrived I emailed to say we were getting in early and if possible we would like somewhere to store luggage. Michelle made sure our apartment was available, she spoke to the taxi driver on our way in and met us on the street. She also left a msall bottle of wine and recommended places to eat and see. The aprtment itself is totally fabulous and has air con. I wish we had stayed for longer!

Michelle, the owner of Emperor's Suites was wonderful. She was very accommodating. My cousin and I arrived early and Michelle allowed us to leave our bags as she prepared our room. The room was very clean and beautiful, reminded us of a Spanish villa. Air-conditioning was a bonus as well as the location- quiet street just 5-10 min walk from the ferry and centre. She gave us loads of suggestions regarding restaurants, tours, shopping etc. She also provided us with complimentary domestic wine (red and white) to start off our visit in Split.

Great stay. Michelle the owner was great and even provicded wine and local sweets for our anneversary. Very pleased and would like to go back for a longer stay next time b

The apartment was clean and well presented. The owner was informative and very pleasant. The location is great for access to the old part of the city and the harbour. There is not a sign indicating the apartments name, hence you need to work off the address.
