Very cosy place. Self-contained with kitchenette, refrigerator, air- conditioner, and flat-screen with many english channels. Clean. Quiet. Dean and his wife are very helpful. The "hotel staff" are not always accessible. Short operating hours of the "reception" make them easy to miss. They can be contacted easily by mobile though. Yes, indeed close to the Dolcetian's Palace, however, it is a fair walk to the bus/train/ferry making carrying luggage a problem as there is no easy road access to and fro the apartment. The best option is to walk and this is regardless of the elements of nature. I'm sure it is a beautiful stroll when the sun shines ;) Also, little things...Many light fixtures had absent or broken light bulbs. Not a big deal as the room still lights up adequately - it's just a reflection of professionalism. The bathroom has an individual boiler for hot water. It will run out with one brief shower and it will take time for the next container of hot water to be ready. Lastly, wifi is as good as non-existent in the room I stayed in. To access it from the room, I was restricted to the window (Literally, I had to put my laptop halfway out the window!).

We were planning to stay an apartment for 4 people with two bed rooms. But unfortunately there were some problems in the bathroom and owner offered us two smaller apartments with one bed room instead. There was no bathtub nor washing machine in the small rooms where we stayed which we expected to have in our booked apartment. But apartment owner offered laundry service without charge. We left our cloths in the morning and our cloths were washed & dried to be delivered in the same evening. The location is excellent! It is very close to Diocletian Palace and Harbour. There are markets, shops, restaurants and hair dressers near the apartment.

The apartment we stayed in was extremely well presented and very tastefully decorated. Staff were extremely pleasant and went out of their way to make our stay a great experience. We congratulate them. The apartment we stayed in lacked natural light, though that was not a real problem as we did not spend much time there during the day.

Very central, very clean. In the middle of a typical old town Split, so a lot of charisma. Modern refurbishment, overall good. Noise isolation from inside the building not good. The next door neighbor will wake you up when they use the toilet or shower

The staff were friendly, offering to point out where to go and what to see. The appartment was clean and really comfortable, and very spacious. In terms of location, it was only a 2 minute walk from the main shopping street and promenade. We found it difficult to find the address as it was not very clear. The reception doubles as an internet cafe, so look out for a plain white door with internet written on it.

Very close to centre and Ana was helpful. Prices in local bars and restaurants very reasonable. The beach at Split is lovely with warm waters. Our double room was not an apartment it was a room with a double bed and on suite- no wardrobe space for clothing. There was no fridge and cutlery was limited to one spoon and one fork. Crockery consisted of one bowl and two mugs. No cooking facilities. The most irritating part was being asked to pay in cash on day of departure. They refuse to acceot credit cards so it meant having to go to cash point and withdrawing the equivalent of £ 480 in one transaction. If we had been informed in advance we could have brought the cash with us. Long flight of stairs to apartment.

We stayed at Split Inn overnight and found it convenient in terms of location and comfort. The price was somewhat high but then again in terms of the high season and the proximity to main sights that was justified. The reception girl was very helpful as well. I'd recommend the place as a decent accommodation in Split. There were no cooking facilities in the room which one might expect in an apartment. Not that it was a problem for us, but can be informative for other visitors.

The apartment was small but contained everything that we needed. It was very clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect, just outside the old town so that it was convenient but quiet. Took up the recomendations of the owner for food and bars and had a thoroughly great time!

Excellent. Our host Dean was extremely helpful. The apartment was clean and modern, and located close to the Palace and the harbour front. Good food at a local restaurant recommended by Dean - Konoba Varos, complete with entertaining locals. Sea Kayaking around the old town of Trogir with Falco Tours was also most enjoyable. The best thing was he electric kettle!

I liked the location of the room, very close to the palace. The room was bright and clean with good aircon. There was a kettle in the room and the room had a large TV and wardrobe. Clean towels were provided and the bed was comfortable. Free wi-fi in the rooms. These apartments are more like hotel rooms than apartments. The hot water didn't last very long. When I booked an apartment I assumed there would be use of a kitchen or at least a fridge however this is not the case - you just get your bedroom and en suite, just like in a hotel.

We had free internet access The apartment was on a busy lane that was noisy all day/night. Sofa bed was 2 feet inside the front door which had a glass panel in it. The sofa bed was not comfortable. The shower was extremely small, barely enough room to wash hair. A dog in the apartment upstairs started barking at 6:30 each morning and kept barking all day long. When the barking stopped, the scooters on the lane outside started speeding past for the night.

Location was good, just 5 minutes walk from diocletian walls. The room was quite large and very clean. There was air con, a bar fridge and a kettle (but no tea, coffee or sugar). The wifi was free and the tv with satellite channels. I found rude that the girl at the receptionist only shook my partner's hand and she wasn't so friendly. Our room was nice but not as nice as the pictures show.

Amazing location... and really easy to find. The stairs were a little tricky. Also the 2 bedrooms were a little odd with one being on the top floor and another being by the entrance (and was a bit noisy).

Excellent location within easy walk of beaches, old city, ferries and bus station. Our studio was on the top floor of a renovated stone house - super clean, comfy bed and seating area, and all the amenities you could ask for. The owner goes out of his way to help you out in any way, and provides loads of good tips for Split. This was our 2nd visit - same room both times - and we will definitely be returning.

Location, helpful staff. Studio apartment we initially booked was on the ground floor and a very confined and tight space. Furthermore, the air condition unit of the residence accross the narrow path was blowing its processed warm air straight into our room through the window. When we changed our room to a simple room at top floor without any fridge we were not given any refund and wifi was virtually non-existent.
