Very pleasent staff, nice breakfast, excellent family room.

Great room, clean and comfortable, big bathroom and shower! Great staff at the reception and ladies who clean the rooms very kind and helpful..they made us feel special! We were supose to stay just for 3 nights but we ended up for 6 nights..there was no problem to prolong our stay for the same room rate! I sincerely recommend this hotel if you need to spend the night somewhere near the airport, the price is also very good and if we will need to stay in Zagreb, we will defenitly come back to hotel Stella!

Nice hotel on the outskirts of Zagreb. We were traveling from the Balkans to Italy and used it as an overnight stop. I liked that we didn't have to enter downtown Zagreb, find parking, etc. Very easy from the highway. We stayed both going to Italy (59 euro) and returning from Italy (79 euro). Much better value for 59 of course. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice breakfast, good staff. It was quiet and an extra bed was free in the double room, for our daughter. If you have a vehicle, find "Sofra", an authentic Bosnian restaurant in Zagreb. Easy parking and you don't have to enter downtown city traffic.

Only thing was that the heating is not controllable in the room. It was quite warm during one of our two visits, and we asked about the heating and they said it was building-wide. We had to open the window for a while for the room to cool down. Other than that, we were pleased. Also, this is not a Zagreb hotel for those who want to be downtown. It's far from the city center (maybe 10-15 minute drive), but that's why we chose it.

I've arrived at the hotel at 3:30 A.M. and they have charged me for extra day.

We had an overnight sleep in the hotel. The hotel and the room was clean, mostly everything was working properly. There is an omv fuel station in 50metres, so you can get snacks easily. Although there is a busy road by the hotel, we did not hear the noise of the traffic. Breakfast was very good, with a wide choice of food. Hotel Stella is a very good place for a 3* hotel.

The bed's matress was very soft and probably a cheap one, we had a backache all day next day. The room was a bit overheated, and using the heating's control panel didn't help. The walls weren't that soundproof, I woke up when the neighbours arrived. We didn't hear everything like in the Airport Hotel at Hajduszoboszlo :) but some laughs and other noises came over very well, as well when they started to make love, huhh :)

We stayed here because it was close to the airport - and we were flying out the next day. The rooms were very well appointed and very clean. The hotel itself was quite nice - and the breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The staff was very helpful with directions as far as getting into the city of Zagreb. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is new, so it's in good shape.The staff is friendly and helpful, my stay was pleasant, and the location is good near the airport-- even near a bus stop for easy travel to the city. I'd definitely recommend the hotel for business or pleasure travelers who want to be near the airport. Going into the city, however, is about a $30 ride by cab or $2 ride by bus (in 2011 prices). The neigborhood seems neat and safe, but I'm not sure it has much of a choice of restaurants (this is not a big issue).

Very nice hotel close to the airport, great value, if you don't have a vehicle not convenient to city center, but price difference justifies cab fare.
