Boasting a picturesque location in the heart of the most beautiful promenade in Dubrovnik, Hotel Sumratin is surrounded by a private, lush Mediterranean garden, only 1000 ft from the beach. Dating back to 1918, the property has an interesting architecture and stone walls with a large terrace. It was renovated in 2010. All of the Sumratin's rooms feature air conditioning, satellite TV, and a telephone. The restaurant serves delicious meals and refreshing cocktails are served at the aperitif bar. You can visit the numerous restaurants and cafés on the promenade. There is a tennis school and 4 illuminated tennis courts nearby. If you are a family with children, the many playgrounds will provide superb opportunities for enjoying vacations with your little ones. The location is good, it is very near a beach and restaurants, bus transport. There is a hypermarket nearby. Staff was friendly and helpful. The price quoted was different than we paid, by a good 50%. (we paid more) That was probably because of the uncertain price of the additional bed, which turned to cost as much as half the room. It seems pricing in this hotel is person based instead of room based. There were apparently bitting insects and at least two ant colonies in the room. Our room had no balcony although such was offered.

The staff were charming and friendly. It is in a good position for combining a relaxing seaside visit with easy access to the beautiful old town of Dubrovnik. The breakfast food was limited, with the hot choices very limited indeed – only the scrambled egg was okay.

I liked it's proximity to the beach. The room was not what I expected for the money paid and despite it's location I would not recommend this hotel. The shower door came off as I tried to slide it and once it was back on (not the easiest to achieve with wet hands), I understood that the way it was designed prevented the doors from closing, thus causing the water to leak out. Over-priced and over-rated but that can be said about a Dubrovnik as a whole.

Good location, close to the beach. The city of Dubrovnik can be reaced by public transportation. Nice restaurants and bars are close, but the hotel is at a side street, so you can sleep well. Small room, overpriced because the hotel is outdated.

the location of the hotel was just perfect, very close to the seaside, in the middle of the boulevar with many restaurants. breakfast was quite good served as a buffet. the hotel is rather old and small but comfortablefor its price. they gave us a map of the city for free. our rooms windows faced the grill restaturan downstairs so in the evening the room was full with the smell of grilled and burned food (if we forget to close the windows). a big disadvantage was internet: there was no wireless in the room, there were couple of computers in the lobby and they charged a lot for 1 hour.

Near the beach, near the buss stop (5 min walk), 10-15 min by buss to the Old City, nearby ther is a supermarket. A lot of excursion centers are around the hotel. Clean rooms, the room with balkony was very cosy. We were checked in in the wrong room (by mistake or smth) without balkony, it was very small. The price bacame a bit more expensive than we planned wile booking.

Nice hotel in a cute district of Dubrovnik. The surroundings are nice, there are lots of restaurants and shops. The beach is near. There are bus connections to the center of Dubrovnik (20 mins travel time) until late in the night. Internet is not free.

It is near from the beach and there are many restaurants around the hotel. Not far from the old town, about 10 min by bus. Room is too small and a little bit noisy at night.

The location is good for lapad beach. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The condition of the rooms was poor. The shower was in very poor condition with pieces broken and falling off in room 210 and the toilet wouldn't flush in room 112.

. Good location and very easy to access bus to the OLd City. Good for shopping and eating out. Area had good feeling about it. The airconditioning didn't work and they promised to fix after the first night. Nothing happened and they promised to do it the next day. This was never going to happen as they had holidays. It would have been better to just tell us they couldn't fix it and give us another room. Finally we shifted room. We had two days with the Exodus tour then had a day extra booked thru you. It would have happened who ever we booked thru. The tap in the bathroom didn't turn off by the conventional method so ended up with a flooded floor. It was difficult to get the water to stop. This needs attention. The bedside light didn't work. Otherwise not bad. When we changed room we didn't get a prk view even tho we were told we had one!!!!!

I enjoyed this hotel. Nice room and friendly service even tho it was quite a big establishment. Bit of a confusion about which room I booked but cleared up quickly. Situated in a tourist area near a beach with plenty of choice of restaurants. Good bus service into the old city - 5 kms. Nothing to do with the hotel but the pounding of a nearby disco was very disturbing until late, plus the ambient noise of punters.Bed linen - a little bit small for the bed size meaning that woke up cold with aircond.

צמוד למדרחוב נחמד עם הרבה מסעדות ובתי קפה. 100 מטר מחוף רחצה מקסים. רחוק מהעיר העתיקה, יש צורך באוטו. יש תחנת אוטובוס קרובה למלון.
