Sunrise Apartments  

Lovely room at sunrise appts in beautiful cavtat. Stanka and her family are lovely, she even gave us a lift back to the airport ! Only 5/10 mins walk to cavtat centre( up and down steep hill though) really friendly resort , clean,Cheap,amazing scenery. Will definitely go back.

Sunrise Apartments is new (September 2012) and very crisp and clean because of it. Our room had a balcony with a pull-out clothesline which was handy. We were in Cavtat because it's close to Dubrovnik airport and we had a 6:25 a.m. flight the next morning. The owner called us a taxi and even got up at 4 in the morning to make sure we were awake. We appreciated that. Also gave us free welcome beers and had a book exchange. Nice touches.

The inn is about a 12-minute walk downhill to the centre of Cavtat. The return trip would be a bit of a grind in hot weather. If you were staying in Cavtat for the beaches you might want to stay a bit closer to town.

The owner was very friendly, her husband picked us up from the airport and on arrival we were given a welcome drink. The apartment was modern and spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equiped. We were given a bottle of wine to enjoy during the week, and a little gift on departure which was a lovely touch.

The room was fully equipped, everything was new e very clean! There is a perfect wifi e tv sat!ok air conditioning.balcony ok! Owners very kind, give us a present at the end of our stay! Toilette and room cleaned everyday!perfect stay!

Position is in a hill,not far away from the center but you have to be fit! No breakfast served.

From the moment we arrived at the airport and were collected by Stanka's husband-we were made to feel very welcome. On arrival at the apartment we were greeted with a cold beer and given helpful tips and local advice from Stanka (the apartment owner). The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable and equipped with all we could have needed. The service within the apartment was fantastic! Almost what you would expect from a good hotel- clean towels were provided every day and the bedding changed regularly. The cleaner even left sprigs of lavender on the pillow and flowers on the table and Stanka left a gorgeous bottle of wine one day as a gift!!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sunrise Apartments, only a short walk down to the centre of Cavtat and nearby restaraunts/bars. Would highly recommend these apartments to couples or families alike-the apartments have a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

The room was exceptionally clean, the towels were changed EVERY day, and it was a short walk down to the centre - albeit down steps and a slope, so not good for the less mobile. Could not fault Sunrise in any way.

The Sunrise Apartments were excellent. The rooms are very clean and fresh towels every day. The family living there are wonderful; Stanka the lady who owns the apartments cannot o enough for you. She is a lovely lady very helpful and caring. Her husband picked us up from the airport and took us back for an excellent price. I would definately recommend these apartments for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Cavtat is a beautiful place and a perfect holiday destination.

Malgré notre arrivée tardive, avons été très bien accueillis par les propriétaires. Rien à redire sur le service. L'accès à Dubrovnik par bateau est facilité du fait de la situation de l'appartement (avec vue sur mer et montagne) près du port de Cavtat.

Perfekt beliggenhet i forhold til by og strand, meget hyggelig personale, rent og pent, fornuftig pris.

Belle camere molto pulite. Non troppo lontano dal porto (anche se a tornare è una bella salita) dal quale è facile raggiungere Dubrovnik

Leider sind die ganzen vorherigen Punkte ja nicht so aussagekräftig, da es sich um Appartments, und nicht um ein Hotel handelt. Von daher: Unser Zimmer war zwar klein, aber sehr schön eingerichtet und die Sauberkeit war top. Stanka ist sehr freundlich und versucht bei allen Fragen weiterzuhelfen; der ebenfalls über Stanka gebuchte Transfer hat super geklappt. Im Übrigen gibt es als Willkommensgruß Wasser und Wein; ferner hatten wir Blümchen auf dem Zimmer und/oder einen kleinen Lavendelgruß auf dem Kopfkissen. Ferner war im Kleiderschrank sogar ein Safe, für den nichts extra zu zahlen war. Ansonsten war Geschirr, Gläser und Wasserkocher sowie Kühlschrank vorhanden; Cappuccino (Beutelchen) wurde jeden Tag erneuert . Alles in allem können wir das Appartment nur weiterempfehlen. Lediglich für Familien mit kleinen Kindern dürfte es wahrscheinlich von der Lage her (oben am Hang) eher nicht so geeignet sein, da man ein gutes Stück den Berg (zum Teil über Treppen) nach oben laufen muss. An sich etwas störend war der Fluglärm (Anzahl und Lautstärke unterschiedlich), aber das hat ja schließlich nichts mit dem Appartment, sondern mit der Ortschaft zu tun.

I liked the fact that the apartment was modern, with all appliances (coffee maker, water boiler, dish washer, hair dryer) and also very clean. We had towels changed daily and they were more than we needed. Also internet access was available.

you need to walk for about 5 minutes (it is a rather steep hill), but it didn't bother me.

Hotellrommet var rent og stort. Vertskapet var meget hyggelige. En liten spasertur fra tettsted med restaurant og til strand.

Vi savnet balkong

Å bo på Sunrise Apartments var som å komme hjem til familien som driver det og bli ønsket velkommen av familien. Ingenting er noe problem. Dette er ikke noe luksus hotell, men eierne er superhyggelig, rommene er rene og fine, sengene er veldig behagelig og badet er fint og romslig. I tillegg smelter man når de tre år gammle tvillingene til paret, prøver å sperre døren når du skal reise. Jeg reiser gjerne tilbake

Very gracious host. Lovely apartments with a good finish. Towels changed daily, bed linen changed regularly. We upgraded to take the apartment on the first floor and so had a nice balcony and a reasonable view. We were also tardy checking out, but they were very kind about that. Nice little touches such as a complimentary drink on arrival. We were also driven to the airport at a time of our choosing for 80 Kuna when we left (taxi is 100 Kuna, and we did not require collecting from the airport).

Only the top floor apartment has a clear sea view. The location is up a hill and along a reasonably busy road which currently has no pavement, which would probably be difficult for older travellers or those with very young children (push-chairs etc.)

Erittäin mukavat ja palvelualttiit omistajat perheineen. Erittäin siisti huone ja kiva siistijä.

Sijainti korkealla mäellä vaati kävellen hyvää kuntoa.

Vi hadde ikke leilighet med utsikt, men på bakside (men grunnen til det var jo at vi bestilte kort tid før vi reiste på ferie).

Owner very helpful and friendly. Apartments 5 mins walk from town and restaurants, with a bit of a climb on the way home as they are positioned on the hillside although its not a problem if relatively fit! Also 1 min walk to bus stop if travelling to dubrovnik via bus which only takes 30mins and is 20 hrk each way.
