Hotel Sveti Kriz  

It was close to Trogir, with a water taxi service 100 yds from the hotel. It was out of town, so away from the hoards of people and much cooler, with a cool off shore breeze, than staying in town . It had an excellent swimming pool and easy access to the beach. The manager was excellent and went out of her way to help us. The rooms had good views across the sea and of Trogir and its surrounds.

Reasonable beach is close.

Fundamentally old building that has only been renovated on the surface. Elevators stops at mezzanine floors between actual room floors. Kitchen in apartment has stove & sink removed. Breakfast is just passable, but poor presentation. Breakfast tables are dirty and no service to be seen. Pool only in so-so condition - water not very clean. Atmosphere feels cheap and under-managed. Quite a distance from Trogir - need a car or you are stuck. Few alternative restaurants in area. Feels like a hotel from an earlier economic regime.

The staff were friendly, breakfast was extensive, the view through the pine trees to the sea and mountains beyond was amazing. The pool was clean, the sea was nearby. No pop music meant we could have an almost stress free stay, and the mini market next door meant we were able to buy lunch and put it in the room fridge. The area was well served by ferry boat and bus. The area has about 5 restaurants within walking distance, so we were spoilt for choice when we decided to dine out.

We did not know that staff held the key to the local church until we checked out, by which time it was too late to visit. At dinner the first evening we were given starters and main course all at once. At breakfast they ran out of teabags 3 times in one week, but went to buy some more. One afternoon a group of local boys came into the pool and were bomb-diving for about an hour, with no one moving them on. One local bus was cancelled and we had to walk 3 miles home. The gravel beach was hard underfoot, and it was not very wide. The changeable weather made planning difficult, after temperatures in the high 30s, we had daily thunderstorms, one so fierce we could not see 50 metres from the boat, and we had to go round in circles until it abated, but 2 hours later we were sun bathing.

Change the cook in the kitchen

The hotel is near the beach and you can go walking. The rooms are vast and there was a large terrace for sun bathing

The location is outside the city limits of Trogir and the local transportation is almost ok, but the exact location shall be precised in order not to confuse guest.

The table cloths were soiled and a 2004 bottle of wine was off.

Sebbene la prima stanza assegnataci (l'ultima rimasta) avesse un fortissimo odore di fumo, non appena ne abbiamo richiesto il cambio, il personale dell'albergo, è stato disponibilissimo a cambiarcela con una stanza decisamente migliore e con vista mare. In tutte le altre occasioni lo Staff dell'albergo ha dimostrato la massima disponibilità e professionalità.

Klagomål om behandlingen av min bokning customer.service@booking.com Orsak att vi bokade just detta hotel var att det fanns ett kök. Bokningen var inskickad via booking.com i januari 2011. Men i verkligheten fanns det inte något kök. Alla kök var demonterade redan i januari 2011 (enligt nya kroatiska hotelregler), men booking.com hade inte informerat oss om detta. Hotelpersonal klagade att de meddelade booking.com flera gången om förändringen men fick inget svar. Vi hade stora problem med mat för ett av våra barn är allergiskt mot nötter. Vi planerade vi att äta mat hemma, men blev tvungna att äta ute. Vi slösade mycket pengar och hela tiden var väldigt oroliga för att på restaurangerna kunde de inte förklara om maten innehöll nötter eller inte. Vi beräknar våra extra utgifter vara ca 400 euro, vilka vi härmed kräver av booking.com.

Die wlan Verbindung hat nicht funktioniert, das Zimmer im unteren Bereich des Hotels (Straßenseite) war sehr laut, man konnte alles aus den angelegten Zimmern hören und von der Restaurant-Terasse oben.

Proximité de la plage et mise à disposition d'une piscine. Personnel serviable et agréable. Belle terrasse.

éQuipement et confort très moyens. Petit-déjeuner un peu juste (café mauvais goût, nappes non changées).

Les petits déjeuners n'étaient pas bien du tout : pas de cacao pour les enfants (et même parès demande le^personnel n'en a pas amené), café imbuvable la piscine n'était pas remplie début aout les chambres ne donnant pas sur la mer sont quelconques la situation géographique n'est pas idéale pour visiter Trogir : cet hôtel est situé sur la presque ile en face de trogir mais c'est bouchons interminables pour traverser le pont.

Närheten till Adriatiska havet med dess fantastiskt klara vatten gör att jag gillade hotell Sveti Kriz. Utomhuspool är ett plus. Närheten till staden Trogir med dess historiska miljö är också ett plus anser jag. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra frukost är ytterligare plus.

Det vore bra om man fick en genomgång av klimatanläggningen vid incheckningen.
