The Krizmanic Family B&B - Plitvice LakesRastovaca 15, 53231 Plitvička Jezera (Show map) Wonderful, Score from 76 reviews“Good location with great breakfast.”
Candy,
Taipei
This family property is situated at the border of Plitvice Lakes National Park, only 1310 ft from the entrance to the park near the big waterfall and the Licka Kuca restaurant. Since the Krizmanic Family B&B is just a 5-minute walk from the park, there is no need to pay the national park parking fee. All rooms have recently been renovated and now have their own bathroom, satellite TV, and a minibar. Some of them also feature air conditioning (or a fan) and a tea kitchen. The rich buffet breakfast is served every morning. Hotel Rooms: 7

Krizmanic Family B&B is a neat village house situated in the vicinity of Entrance 1 of Plitvice Lake. It is a perfect location for visiting the Plitvice Lake. From Entrance 1, one needs to take a walk of 8-10 mins to get into the village house. The house is easy to identify by the house no. plate. As we drove, we reached the house without any walk and we could park freely just outside the house. The environment is quite and green and we love the place. The room we booked is big enough to accomodate a couple like us. The owner of the house is very friendly and helpful providing us information about the lake visit. It only takes 5-10 min walk to get to Entrance 1 of the Lake from the village house. Perfect location and environment! Nothing to complain about.

The property was very clean and tidy with excellent decor and good basic cooking facilities (need to bring food with you though - no markets nearby). The hosts were very helpful and friendly and at the same time left you to enjoy your holiday in peace - they were there if you wanted them. The location was excellent - just a 10 minute walk from Entrance 1 of the lakes and these lakes are absolutely awesome. The breakfast was excellent also. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will return again when we get the chance. It was all superb.

The apartments were spacious, clean, and modern. Breakfast was continental style, but the bread and pastries were so fresh it felt decadent. We were able to keep our car there after we checked out and walk to the National Park. The walk to the Plavicka Park ticket office is more like 15-20 minutes as you have to take a pedestrian bridge over the highway. The local restuarant is a 10 minute walk and is alright, but nothing special, so you might want to bring some groceries and cook in the apartment.

Location was excellent. Within walking distance to #1Park entrance, though some is on a busy road, with no walkway. We were created by a friend of the owner (owner was at grocery store) this person could not give us much information on places to dine in the area.

Beautiful location, really easy to get to on foot from where th buses stop at the entrance number 1 to the park. Can walk safely through a wooded path, avoiding the main road. In a lovel village so very safe. Amazing room, we had a whole apartment with a kitchen, bathroom and living area as well as bedroom. Very comfortable and clean. Drinks on arrival. More varied breakfast would be good. Other than that, perfect!

Simply put this was our best stay in Croatia. The hostess is very friendly, our room was very spacious (actually more like an apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, living area and a small kitchen in the hallway), was very clean, had a very good bed, a very good and silent air-conditioning and an amazing shower. It's easy to leave your car over at the B&B. The location is perfect to reach entrance 1 of the beautiful Plitvice lakes: it takes merely a 5 minute walk. No curtains, so you will get up early.

The house was set up as a purpose-built b&b, with modern timber furniture. Our hostess had a pretty good understanding of English. The house could be maintained at a comfortable temperature, as there were plenty of heaters. We asked if we could use a washing machine, as we were travelling over an extended period of time (3 months!) and Mrs Krizmanic was most helpful, also organising the drying of our garments, for which we were very grateful. Continental breakfast was plentiful.

This as an excellent b&b walking distance to Plitvice Park Gate 1 (from which you can circle the lower lakes). You can then take the Plitvice bus (included in your ticket) to Gate 2 to do the upper lakes. Also ideally situated for dining at the excellent Lika Kuka restaurant, the 'go to' dining place next to the Gate 1 of the Park. Ivana (and 18 month son Ivano) are welcoming hosts; they also allowed us to leave our car parked at their place on the second day although we had checked out. Breakfast was ample and generous start for the hikes round the upper lakes. As an option to the Plitivice's Park hotels, which are all at Gate 2 or further, I am glad I decided to stay at this place. There is a confusion about a 2nd 'Krizmanic Family b&b' that google and Garmin will take you to, but this one at #15, very close to the main road is excellent. Our suite with the terrace was very confortable; I wish our stay was longer to enjoy it and teh serene settings including Ivana's garden

Very large rooms (including small kitchen) and extremely clean. The breakfast room and choice of food was very nice. Finally, the distance to the Plitvice Lakes entrance was close and we could leave our car parked at the B&B while we visited the lakes.

“Great location if you're interested in visiting Plitvice Lakes National Park. The rooms were recently updated - I loved the modern bathroom. However, it also contained many elements that gave it old world charm, making it the best of both works. The owner also gave us great suggestions for the best route of the park and for a close restaurant.” Deanna, Chicago |

“Location is perfect, just at the entrance #2 of Plitvice National Park. Staff was excellent. Value for money is great, and we were surprised they have Ethernet in every room. And by the way - the best time to visit Plitvice National Park is when they open at 7 (do the Southern part first) and have breakfast at 9 when the crowds leave for the park.” Ekkhard, 60322 |
