Molto bella la terrazza sul porto di HVAR per la colazione e la cena; il ristorante era di buona qualità. In camera l'unica cosa valida era il letto. La stanza aveva un bagno non all'altezza; in più si trovava sopra le cucine e l'odore che arrivava sia al mattino, sia a pranzo e soprattutto a cena era insostenibile e in alcuni casi nauseante. La finestra guardava un muro. La piscina è piccola e in posizione molto defilata. |

la posizione dell'Hotel è notevole, peccato che la struttura sia in condizioni di abbandono! mancanza dell'aria condizionata - infissi esterni fatiscenti, con impossibilità di ottenere l'oscuramento della stanza e l'isolamento dai rumori esterni - scadente qualità degli arredi - bagno indecente e con persistente cattivo odore di fogna - prima colazione di modesta qualità ed assortimento |

questo hotel è in posizione molto suggestiva della centro della città e la terrazza merita il soggiorno per il panorama meraviglioso. i lavori di ristruttarazione non hanno compreso i bagni delle abitazioni e perciò l'albergo perde di confort. |

La centralità dell'albergo. Essendo in centro, in piazzetta, è molto rumoroso poichè c'è gente fino al mattino proprio sotto le finestre dell'albergo. Finestre che non è possibile chiudere in quanto non c'è aria condizionata nelle camera quindi farebbe un caldo insopportabile. Inoltre non potendo chiudere finestre la luce entra molto presto al mattino in camera. Non è dotato di parcheggio. |

la posizione dell'hotel è splendida, direi impagabile. l'edificio incorpora la loggia gotica, uno dei simboli di hvar, ed ha una terrazza con vista sul posto (adibita a bar ristorante e colazione) che è indimenticabile. le camere sono spaziose, i letti anche. l'hotel è collegato ad una rete di altri hotel di hvar, il che offre la possibilità di accedere a tutti i loro servizi con uno sconto. buona colazione. l'hotel (arredi stoviglie divise del personale), è ancora piuttosto in stile socialista. a differenza di altri hotel della catena non è stato (ancora?) oggetto di restyling, cio' si rifeltte sui prezzi, piu' contenuti degli altri, ma indubbiamente è il punto debole. la posizione centrale rende un po' rumorose le ore notturne, ma a hvar è cosi' per tutti gli hotel. il personale è cordiale. manca la connessione wireless nelle camere. non c'è aria condizionata nelle camere (il clima di hvar, pero', ne rende quasi sempre, deliziosamente, superflua la presenza). i bagni sono vecchiotti e ben poco di charme, ma molto puliti e comunque confortevoli. insomma: ci tornerei. |

La bella terrazza per la colazione a buffet ed eventualmente per la cena. La mancanza di aria condizionata nella stanza e la dimensione della stessa, inoltre, la rumorosità per la mancanza di doppi vetri alla finestra.. |

Only the view from the balcony!! Terrible management! I am sure they think why should we invest in this hotel, the tourists will keep coming anyway. It looks like a white washed hospital corridor from the communist era. Broken down bathrooms, leaking flushes... Don't even know where to begin. |

Beautiful drinks terrace overlooking harbour. You must be happy with being in the midst of a party atmosphere if you stay here. There are party boats going out every evening from the dock opposite the hotel, and coming back at 2am, 4am and 6am throughout the night. Very noisy. There was a wedding party held during our stay, which closed the terrace and restaurant for non-guests for an evening. The hotel did their best to limit the noise of this though. |

The terrace was amazing and the room was pretty. The bed was beautiful and comfortable and possibly having the best pillows this side of the Adriatic. The staff were extremely lovely - gold stars all round. The bathrooms are obviously not finished to the same high standard as the rest of the hotel but they are probably working on this as we speak. |

I enjoed staying at The Palace for its location, the history of the hotel, the comfort, everything was ok, I will recommend it. Everything was ok, but I suggest that the bathrooms of the rooms are arranged. |

location and view were great the room was old ,small and noisy. no air con so we had to leave window open. power went our for several hours one morning. on bad need of major renovation. we moved nxt door to Hotel Park, lovely and helpful staff. you should add this hotel as a great place. |

The only good thing about this hotel is the fact that it is partly built in the old Venetian loggia of Hvar and you have breakfast on the great terrace of the building, which has a beautiful view of the port. The rooms are charmless (old Stalinist era by the looks of it), stuffy and tatty. The hotel seems to be being used mainly for wedding receptions, which means endless noise...renditions of "classics" by bands specially brought from the UK for the occasion etc....The owners are also trying to promote the terrace as a bar with expensive drinks...and an (OK) jazz band which plays the same songs every night...and all this at pretty high prices...in short, if you want to stay in Hvar Town you are better off renting an apartment at a fraction of the price. If you want to pay top whack for a luxury hotel this is probably not your option either. |

The location and the view of the harbour from the room (rooms on 3rd floor have full length doors/windows, 4th floor has high windows) and from the restaurant at breakfast. Advertised evening entertainment on boards outside of the hotel but this was not available. We were told it does not start until July and runs until the end of August, we were staying there in June. Bathrooms could be improved, our shower broke during our stay but they fixed it, however it was very basic. They could add air-con to all rooms; the hotel is old but the rooms are all modern inside so air-con would not take anything away from the appearance. Would not stay there in July/August because of this. The fans are fitted to ceilings but are not enough and I don't like sleeping with them left on. |

The location was excellent and the terrace overlooking the harbour was a great place for breakfast and a drink. The breakfast was good and plentiful and service in the bar/dining area excellent. We were able to check in early whihc was particularly helpful as ferry arrives 7.30 am in the morning. Large double bed always appreciated in the heat. Plugs were missing from both the sink and the bath and although I would have loved a bath as an alternative to the shower over three days I was not able to secure a plug for the bath! The front of the hotel had been detrimentally modernised. |
