Excellent,
Score from 84 reviews
“ This is our second time, it is still the best place to stay in the old part of Dubrovnik. The hotel is sheer luxury, even a lovely bottle of red wine put into our room at night, what a nice touch. Would recommend to any one. First class. ”

The stunning, 18th-century Baroque Pucic Palace right in Dubrovnik's Old Town, next to the limestone-paved Stradun, combines classic architecture with 5-star amenities. It has free Wi-Fi, a wine bar and a restaurant. The East West Beach Club (one of Europe's top 5) is just 330 yards away and features a separate area for the guests of the Pucic Palace with complimentary sunshades and lounge chairs. Enjoy elegant rooms with hand-woven rugs on dark oak floors, high beam ceilings, marble staircases and bathrooms with soft bathrobes. Walls are adorned with local artwork and tall, soundproofed windows overlook the charming Gundulic Square. All rooms in the Pucic Palace feature free Wi-Fi, DVD players and a DVD library is at your disposal as well. They come with flat interactive TV, large bathrooms with separate bathtub and shower as well as luxurious Bvlgari cosmetics. Enjoy the romance of the lantern-lit outdoor restaurant terrace and indulge in fine wines, whiskeys, cigars as well as meats and cheeses in the wine bar. Public parking is available at the Ploče Gate at the entrance to the old city. There, a hotel employee will pick guests up, take care of the luggage and show the way to the hotel. Location in the Old Town and I especially loved the view of the square from my room - but above all, the reception staff were very friendly and no question was a problem to them. The Pucic Palace reception staff were very professional compared to the staff at a 4 star Dubrovnik hotel I had stayed in the previous night! The Pucic Palace reception staff treated all their guests respectfully, regardless of which country they came from. The Pucic Palace is the first 5 star hotel I've stayed in and my stay was memorable! I highly recommend The Pucic Palace! Nothing! I loved the Pucic Palace! One of their staff even walked me to the Ploce Gate to the awaiting taxi they had organised, carrying one of my suitacases!

The location was perfect - right in the centre of the City Walls - it was so convenient. The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. Really glad we stayed at The Pucic Palace. Service staff were also very friendly and helpful all the way. The bathroom is the only thing i would change. The bathroom was fitted out in a heritage style in keeping with the theme of the rest of the apartment. It looked great but it wasn't practical and very messy! The water didn't drain from tub too well either so after a few minutes one was standing in a pool of soapy water. Would have been better to have had a proper shower cubicle that was enclosed to stop the water spilling everywhere.

We liked the friendliness and helpfulness of all the hotel staff we came across. The room was lovely and clean. The hotel was so convenient being inside the old town and it was possible to pop back easily. It was rather wet while we were there so it was good to come back to the room to dry off. And it was such a good position for evening meals in the old town. It was expensive but the whole stay was so pleasant that we had no regrets choosing it. The meal in the hotel restaurant on the terrace was not as good as we had hoped. It was a very nice location but neither os us liked our main courses- the hummus platter starter was nice.

The staff (chatty; helpful; we got to know their first names easily); The location - and the magnificent soundproofing which must have excluded all sorts of outside noises to make it seem so peaceful The (a la carte) inluded breakfast - freshly prepared,. freshly cooked, with fresh food. The TV system went "down" one night - it was suggested that it might be bacuse the Chamions League cup was on at the time.......

The Pucic Palace was fabulous. From the time we arrived we were looked after to a very high standard. The location is fantastic in the heart of the old town with a daily market right outside out hotel! Our rooms were spotlessly clean and maintained to a very high standard. Very comfortable and luxurious. We were very sad to leave!

The welcome and attention from the staff during our brief stay was exceptional. As a base to explore the city of Dubrovnik in the short time we had, this was absolutely perfect.

The staff at the Pucic Palace were wonderful and went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent experience. They had a porter meet us at the Ploce Gate entrance to take our luggage to the hotel. The location in the old town of Dubrovnik was nice. I wish we had had time to go to the East-West beach club that hotel guests are allowed to use. The service at the restaurant was sub-par. I would not have known to call the hotel to let them know we were arriving if we hadn't stopped by earlier in our trip to Dubrovnik. It would have been nice if that information was given to us by Booking.com.

The location is fantastic. It is within the walls and overlooking the main square. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We were on our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a balcony room. The rooms were of a reasonable size, considering its an pld building. You are paying for the location and not for the size of the room. Theres so my to do locally theres no reason to stay in the room for any length of time anyway. We didnt have any noise problems as stated in others reviews. It was a perfect end to a perfect honeymoon.

Location was phenomenal. Service was competent and helpful. Room design is not great. We had a suite and the dining area was not very usable and the bedroom much too small. Also, there was no view from the room as the windows were positioned very high up in the walls,
