The rooms were beautiful and well equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was amazing and with loads of history. The breakfast was unbelievable in quality and variety.

I've stayed five days, really good staff and excellent spa. Very fast Wi fi and free. No smoking area inside, like cigar room ... Be careful some rooms have terrible view to back side of hotel . Windows on the last 6th floor very small.

There are many luxury hotels, but the Esplanade is a world apart. Everything was perfect also during our second time in this hotel. Class, elegance, high-level service. Room was perfectly appointed. Amazing variety of choice for breakfast. Free fast connection wifi in the whole building was really appreciated. Best value for money 5 stars hotel I've ever stayed. In 2012 a 5 stars hotel shouldn't have 90's style tv-sets in its rooms. Led or Lcd tv-sets are usual standards also in lower categories.

The hotel is very luxurious, the staff is helpful and the location is excellent. The beds were very comfortable, and the room in general was quite big. We felt that the price was quite low compared to hotels of that quality in the southern regions of the country (especially in Dubrovnik). Overall, it is highly recommended. The TV in the room was an old CRT, with a really small screen. It seems a shame that a small detail like this harms the overall luxury feel of the hotel.

The location, facility,staff are excellent. But the service of concierge is not so good, if we do not ask to do something to them, they do not do anything.There is no information of breakfast.Except for these two points, the regent was excellent.

Location , comfortable bed , stuff was friendly .. On Bookinig , we have made reservation for 3 adults , and price was 138,00 eur. without breakfast , we have been charched 188,00 eur.

Location next to the train station. A touch of luxury. Huge rooms. Good bed and comfortable pillows. Free computer with internet connection. Air conditioning directly above bed, without off switch.

Nice hotel, good rooms, location ok, breakfast ok There is no swimming pool in the hotel (compared to the Sheraton for example) and the spa is not value for money (very little, no staff before 2pm on saturday, looks rather like a bathroom than a spa)

The hotel and all of its staff are great. Definitelly worth the money. Room was very cold when I arrived, had to wait for two hours to achieve a normal room temperature. But these things happen, I am sure they won't allow this again.
