So clean Helpful staff Great breakfast on a tray Excellent location 2 minutes to the bus stop Excellent beaches Friendly area
The road nearby was a bit noisy, apart from than nothing
Nice resort, nice seeshore, kind employees.
Great location Lovely modern rooms Friendly and helpful staff Good value for money Great breakfast
Due to it being out of season the pool at the hotel was closed. there is access to the Meriden hotels pool and spa which was amazing but was quite expensive.
Friendly and helpful staff Breakfast delivery in room Specious and high standard apartment 10% discount card for eating at any Le Meridian restaurant located on the same property.
A bit expensive considering October is a shoulder tourist season. No visible sign to apts at night. Sea views are blocked by long trees. Hotel management needs to redo landscaping in a manner that retains the nice garden at the same tine unblocking the beautiful view of the sea and coastal town.
The "Rooms" are in fact full scale apartments, finished to a very high standard. There is no breakfast buffet, but they will serve a breakfast in your room instead, which is even better.
It is not a big complaint, but as these are apartments, you have to do the dishes yourself. A bit strange in my view that they clean the entire room, bring breakfast etc, and then don't wash a single dish in the sink.
Pefect distance from Split, a 10 minute bus ride. Hotel was great, lovely staff on call 24/7. The resort itself has 5 star written all over it and theres a 5 star hotel next door which we were more than welcome at for dinner and you can pay 150 kunas (£16-17) a day to use all their amazing facilities, we did this for one day! Restaurants and a couple of bars by the gorgeous marina, the beach is spotless with crystal clear waters. Theres a couple of 'tours and trips' shops on the marina with lots to see and do! A lovely holiday!
Can't fault the hotel except for the pool, its not really worth having one because its so small and its a shame that the picture on the website tries to be a bit decieving. For some reason theres a €7 per person charge when you check out which is a 'tourist fee' that i've never experienced before, but that might not be the hotels fault.
- Clean, modern apartments - Friendly and helpful staff - Close to beautiful beach with clean and clear water - Staff were very quick to resolve some minor issues with some equipment in the appartment
- Very small pool (more like a large bath tub!) - Additional cost for not very fast Wi-Fi - Additional cost for parking - TV didn't work - No explanation of how to use rather complicated sliding door mechanism to balcony.
The location was fantastic just on the marina.
The pool - it was tiny.
Quiet location Tasteful, spotlessly clean room, Helpful staff Use of facilities in nearby hotel (charged) Lovely restaurant within a few minute's walk
Although the sea is lovely and clean for swimming, beach is more shale than pebble and quite painful to walk on barefoot.
We stayed in one bedroom apt with last minute special price and we loved it. It was beautifully furnished, garden terrase was very nice and split was just few minutes away by car
New, perfect, comfortable apartaments and very clean. Everything is just great.
The room was very clean and rather luxury; the staff very friendly and did everything to help. Breakfast served in room was great (7 Euro pp), we combined a continental and fresh breakfast (with ham, cheese etc) and this made a perfect breakfast for 2 people. Wifi is affordable and some nice restaurants in the area along the coast. Great for running in the morning as well along the sea!
To get access to beach chairs, you had to get a membership of the Meridien sports/leisure club (next doors). This pays out when you are there for whole days, but arriving at 15.30h and leaving next day noon, would mean paying twice 150 kuna, is about 21 Euro (x 2) for just a few hours. The hotel had a small swimming pool as well, but in the afternoon all chairs were occupied. Not a big thing, but a pity just not making it the 'perfect location'.
Spacious rooms nice balcony
Very small swimming pool
Everything was really excellent! Room was modern and very comfortable with beautiful view over the sea. I would recommend it to everyone who just want to relax and enjoy in peace and quiet. Plus nearby are good restaurants for those who enjoy fine dining.
Payment per day for Sun loungers of 150 kunas is excessive
The location close to the beach, with the possibility to go long walks by the sea.
Reception staff were really helpful and always friendly. Room is fantastic value for money with fantastic facilities available at The Meriden next door.
We only stayed as a one night stop over on the way from Dubrovnik to Plitvice lakes. We found the lady on reception to be very helpful and we were informed on arrival that we had been upgraded on our room due to it being quiet. The room itself was well finished and very comfortable. Breakfast was served to our room. They were also very flexible on our check out time and said we could take our time. Again this was down to the excellent reception staff.
The breakfast was nicely presented but lacked any real substance. It was really just a lot of bread and jam with some token pieces of fruit. As I said we only stayed one night so it didn't affect us but I did notice that the hotel charged for WiFi and even the use of the pivate beach. You'll also have to pay 5 Euro a day to park if you have your own car.
Very helpful staff. An appartment with a small kitchen. Breakfast served in the room.
Charged wifi access to the internet.
