Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik    

Fantastic place to stay. Pools just great & well laid out. Restaurants beautiful with food of every description available. Room good size and most comfortable. Location good with local bus stop to the city close by. Ocean beach available at sister hotel. Highly recommended.

Really could find no fault

Breakfast was one of the best spreads we've seen! View of the Adriatic was spectacular (from our sea view room). Gym & relaxation centre was also good. Reasonably priced drinks (for a resort)...

Resort seems more suitable for business conferences, rather than a luxury resort. It was big & clean, but lacked personality or that little extra something.. Also no spa in the spa area! We've also never experienced a resort where you can only have plastic cups by the pool before (half the size of the normal cocktail glasses so not good value by the pool).

Seaview and room was wonderful. There was extra quilt. We don't like when we have to share same quilt.

Water in outside swimming pool was quite cold. Pillows was too soft. Even there was few different pillows

When compared the hotel prices and service, hotel is definitely bad.

Extremly clean (like business hotels) hotel, managed with total care to everyone. Sunset is more than joyful with daily live concerts. Breakfast is the best throuhout 300 km up and down the coastline.

Just everything, a splendid experience

Nice Hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast, beautiful view. Not far from Old City. A lot of shops and restaurants near the hotel.

Amazing outddor areas and facilities. Three beaches really close.

The Old City is a little far away. But I didn't have too much of a problem with this.

Views Facilities Cleanliness Spacious rooms

Quality of food was poor. Level of service across the hotel inconsistent-some staff good, a significant number require training in English and better customer service-not enough smiling faces!

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable with a wide choice of pillows. The terrace bar area and pool were immaculate and the spa was of a high quality.The breakfast was fantastic.

The air conditioning unit in the bedroom was noisy and the selection of snacks round the pool was limited.

Beautiful setting and proximity to the sea and the old town of Dubrovnik.

Spotless clean, modern design, the nearby envinronment

Our stay at the Valamar Lacroma was excellent; it was a fantastic holiday, the hotel is brilliant and Dubrovnik is a great place to visit, very friendly. We were well looked after by the hotel staff, particularly Josip in the Langusto restaurant. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who enjoys quality!

Modern hotel in a good location. Has got everything you need: comfortable rooms, few restaurants, fitness, good spa, 2 pools with Jacuzzi, pool bar. Good & quick service. Food is good & delisious, quite a big choice during breakfast & dinner. Hotel organize different themed dinner, live music in the lobby bar. Easy access to the popular beaches: 250m to Copacabana beach, 3min walk to President hotel beach (marked by the blue flag). The bus stop is only 3min walk, so you can easily get to the city center of Dubrovnik or to the Old Towm. If you wanna go for any excurtions, big choice of it you can find in the hotel if you ask reception staff which is very helpfull in any of your needs. There are few shops in the hotel (leather goods are very good & for a good price). Shops/mini markets also siteated in 5min walk from the hotel. The atmosphere at the Valamar Lacroma is very relaxing and comfortable. I strongly recommend you to stay in that hotel.

Breakfast bar was well stocked, reminiscent of a Vegas buffet but included in the booking price, thereby adding to the value of the room. Dining on the patio provided breathtaking sunset views. Great 10E bottle of house white wine. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Concierge was very helpful and friendly. Gym is free to use to all guests. Plenty of lounge chairs by the pool, although it was quite crowded as I stayed there during the busy summer months. Spa services are priced well.

Our initial impression was unfortunately not that great as we were given a room that had not been cleaned. The front desk staff was quick to change our room. Being on the extreme end of the hotel resulted in niether the wifi nor the A/C working all that well, and it was hot! The staff were a little ornery, not sure how popular Americans are there. The spa was en route to the pool so I felt like that was detrimental to the tranquility a spa is supposed to evoke, however it had the appropriate spa ammenities, like tea, dried and fresh fruit, relaxation rooms, soothing music, candles, etc. I wish they had pool side servers. I thought the room and food was a little expensive.

Hotel looks new, frash, very good position, clean, ...

The hotel is an easy journey from the airport and has great links to the city with the Number 6 bus. Wonderful complex with a good sized swimming pool and beautiful views from everywhere in the hotel. Also a bonus to be able to use the beach down at the Valamar President. The surrounding hotels are within good walking distances without feeling intrusive. Food was wonderful, fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Views were to die for! I will definitely return to the Valamar Lacroma.
