Veli Varos Apartments    

Apartamento amplio, con wifi, ac, equipo de música. Muy bien ubicado, junto al casco antiguo. La cama era grande y muy cómoda.

La entrada era directa desde la calle, lo que resultó algo ruidoso. Como en casi todos los hoteles/apartamentos de Croacia, no había persianas ni similares, por lo que había demasiada luz natural de madrugada. El baño, la ducha, el lavabo eran minúsculos. Nos pareció demasiado caro por ofrecer cosas similares a establecimientos de este nivel.

Bicycles were available for guests. The hostess was very friendly (Marina) and helpful. The room was clean.and well equipped.

The noice is unbearable at all times and specially at night and early morning. The room is very dark and there is not much privacy if you open the shutters. The bed is terrible. I would not recommend to stay here if you are after a relaxing stay.

These apartments are well located and comfortable Marina is very helpful and welcoming

When driving in by car parking is very difficult

I'm visiting Split few times a year for business and pleaser.. Veli Varos is amazing place to stay.. Not far away from riva, veri clean apartmants.. Very Comfortable...Marina the Owner always give me a pleasure to use her bicycles for free.. Marina and her sister are very keen to show you around... I heartly recommend this place

Our whole experience in Split was amazing and our apartment and the owner Marina where the main reason for that. We arrived very early in the morning from our ferry trip from Italy and our check in was scheduled at 2pm - we took a chance at 8:30 am and called Marina who immediately came by and gave us the keys - we couldn't feel more welcomed. She then met us later on for wine and cheese at a fantastic place nearby and shared a lot of informative bits about this beautiful place. What can we say we not only stayed and experienced a great few days but made a new friend in the process. We practically felt like family.

It was characterful, nicely done, well equipped and in a convenient location. It had free WiFi and we were offered free use of bicycles.

Having to concentrate on avoiding dog mess in the narrow streets in the immediate neighbourhood. However, we would happily stay there again if we return to Split.

Spacious, good location. Two bikes available is a nice bonus.

Had to call a woman to meet us at the apt. There was no check in place, just a door and our room behind it from the street. Paid in cash (half local curency/half euroes) and got no receipt. No one cleaned the room, the water in the shower was cold. Random travelers were nocking at the door in the night, thinking it was the hotel.

Location is very good. The apartment is just situated nearby the walking area. You only need to walk 1-2minutes to reach the walk area. The cooking utensils are clean and enough for making a good meal.If you go there by your own car, you need not to find car parking, because they have private parking for you, but the street to the car parking is very narrow and is a little bit hard to find it and you need to drive very carefully and slowly to get there.

Although the apartment is good, but the price is a little bit expense.

Very nice apartment, and the location is perfect.

Perfect location, less than 1 minute walk from the Diocletian palace. The flat is perfect with 2 big beds, one kitchen, one bathroom, 2 flat tvs all in very good standard. There is one free parking place located at 1 min walk from the flat. From there you can do everything, visit the city, go to the beach, go to bars and clubs. Just perfect!

Nothing to complain about, really nothing!

The apartment I stayed in is on Cosmieva St.It is reached through a door on the street and then via a small courtyard and up some stone steps leading to multiple residences.This apartment is highly recommended.Sleek,stylish and extremely comfortable.There is a kitchenette with kitchenware.It was a brand new refurbishment in July 2012 and everything is tastefully presented.The location could not be bettered in Split.For the wifi folk there is a high quality router right in the apartment.Bathroom facilities are top quality as is the bed.I had to wrench myself away after two days.The proprietress, Marina, is helpful and charming.Would definitely suit a couple exploring Split for a long weekend...

Nothing.Everything first class!

The flat is just 3 min away from center. The owner & helper were very helpful & nice. and the most important the flat is furnished to the highest standard with 2 bathroom (one on suit) fully fitted kitchen to include even some food in it. Would defenetly come again to this flat.

A very warm welcome and help with providing parking for the car. The apartment was very spacious and well furnished with all facilities. Very quiet location, but very close to the Roman old town of split and the harbour area. Restaurants, bakery and small shops all very close by. Highly recommended.

You have to park a little distance from the apartment, but very safe and 5 minute walk.

The place is perfect and the room is vero confortable!

Nice and trendy apartment in the old town with music. Staff gave us bikes for free.

The apartment was superior in luxury and comfort. The interior looked professionally done by an interior decorator. A modern kitchen and bath accented with beautiful artwork throughout. A real gem. I hated to leave.

The apartment we stayed in was 22. The street name I forget but it's very modern studio with visable wooden beams. Highly recommend! Great location, lots hot water

Can be little noisy from the street. Wifi issues for us. Wifi issues but offered a USB wifi stick.... Unfortunately we had an iPad so this wasn't an option for us. We were offered an alternative apartment with wifi but older, musty smell

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de enthousiaste en vriendelijke Marina. Ze gaf ons goede tips wat we konden doen in de stad en we konden gratis haar fietsen gebruiken. Toen we naar huis gingen bleek onze accu leeg doordat we de lampen aan hadden laten staan. Marina en haar vader regelden dat we weer verder konden. We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf, met nAme door de gastvrijheid.

Kamers zijn wat kleiner dan op de foto's lijkt.

La proximité du centre ville, la réactivité de la personne qui gère puisqu'elle nous a trouvé un appart à notre gout et a rapidement amené ce qui manquait....

L'appart qui nous a été attribué n'était pas celui que nous avions réservé, et celui qu'on nous a proposé au départ en remplacement était glauque, mais le deuxième fut le bon. Pas facile de décharger la voiture car apprt dans zone piétonne, pas facile de trouver le lieux de rv pour retrouver la personne qui nous acceuil.

Trivelig moderne leilighet med veldig bra beliggenhet for oppholdet i Split. Personalt var hyggelig og behjelpelig.

Мы жили в двух этажном апартаменте.Очень понравился дизайн-сочетание одной не обработанной стены из камня в сочетании с современной обстановкой.Все очень уютно. Удобное место расположения-в старом городе.Нам предоставили парковку рядом,на частной территории.Нашему сыну очень понравился канал с мультфильмами.Это был единственный апарт. за все наше путешествие где был такой канал. Нам все понравилось

Die äußerst freundliche Art der Mitarbeiter .. Auch die Hilfsbereitschaft bei Problemen und die hervorragende moderne Ausstattung des Appartments und das bei absolut zentraler Lage inmitten der Innenstadt sind besonders hervorzuheben. Immer gerne wieder!

Chambre confortable bien que très petite

Le prix n'est pas justifié, la rue donne directement sur la chambre qui était fort humide puisqu'en sous-sol.
