Hotel Vestibul Palace is located in the heart of Diocletian’s Palace, surrounded by ancient Roman walls. It offers elegant, bright rooms with handmade furniture and free Wi-Fi. The hotel is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Main city sights like the Peristil, the Saint Duje Cathedral and the Riva promenade are only a few steps away. Villa Dobric, with 4 rooms and a café bar, is located 250 meters from the hotel main building, just a few metres from the Fruit Square. The square used to be the heart of the ancient Split. This a beautifully designed intimate hotel immediately adjacent to the Diocletian Palace Vestibule. Exremely courteous and helpful staff, and an excellent breakfast provided. Although not inexpensive, we thought the hotel excellent value for money.

-Excellent customer service..especially Branimir. - Met at the bus station and escorted to and from the hotel -Excellent location.You are within the walls of the Diocletian Palace - what remains of the Ancient Roman Empire is all around you -Good selection of cold foodstuffs on the breakfast buffet and great capuccino -Room is small for two people. No real space to put two suitcases - Breakfast area is small.Difficult to move freely if there are a number of people there at the same time - No toothbrush/toothpaste sets left in the bathroom (probably you can get if you request them) -Might be difficult for some to step into and out of the bath/shower...there is nothing to hold on to..and beware of the heated towel rack if it has been left switched on!

Location was great in two senses. It was located in the heart of the city and located in part of Diocletians palace. It does not get much better than that. Additionally the decor, the service and the food was top notch.

. Location is excellent . Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful . Very tasteful and modern decoration . Very comfortable rooms, w/ good quality (free) WiFi access. . A few flights of stairs could make it difficult for guests with reduced mobility .

Great location in the heart of the Palace. The well designed rooms combine modern and ancient - one wall of our room was the Palace Vestibul! Hotel is small (only 7 rooms) - staff are really wonderful and knowledgeable about the area and city. Highly recommend.

Great location in the old city of Split. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful room in the center of the city. Small issue but not enough towel racks in the bathroom. We were in the villas and the Br was in the loft but we knew about this ahead of time so this is not really a complaint. Just wanted to let people know.

.The staff - very friendly, very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was superb (though not entirely easy to find first time round!) The building design-wise is, as one other guest put it, the best combination of ancient and modern since Michael Douglas married Zeta-Jones. Breakfasts were very good (buffet-style) Air-con was a little noisy in our room It was warm - so we probably needed no more than one sheet over the bed, which is what we had - but the sheet could have been larger so it didn't end up round just one os us!!!! A light duvet would have avoided that problem.

It was a small, luxurious apartment in a prime location. We loved being able to listen to the live acoustic singing in the Temple from our bedroom! The staff were top notch and the breakfast was the best I've ever had in any hotel.

Excellent location in the old town. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Great terrace for breakfast and evening drink. Villa is about 250 m from the main hotel and difficult to use hotel facilities.
