Hotel Vestibul Palace & Villa - Small Luxury Hotels Of The World  

A very clean and luxurious hotel.

It would have been helpful to have been informed of the difficult location of the hotel prior to arrival. Also I wasn't aware that I could have gone straight to villa dobric and not to the main hotel. The hotel and villa are not easy to find and taxis can not take you to the exact location. An e mail a week before arrival at the hotel with this information would have been helpful. Sue Young

We actually stayed in Villa Dobric, part of Hotel Vestibule. The room was quiet and in a good location. The staff was very friendly and most hospitable.

The room was very small, although finished out nicely with high end products. Unfortunately, the LCD TV on the wall must have been an earlier model because once you were actually on the bed, the viewing angle was such that the images were almost impossible to see due to the viewing angle and the TV was on a fixed mount, so you were unable to view it. It was also very warm during our stay and the air conditioning must not have been turned on since we were unable to cool the room off.

Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful.

The best part of staying at the Vestibul Palace for us was the absolute quiet that existed in the middle of town. The hotel is part of Diocletian's Palace (and unesco World Heritage Site) but was just enough removed from the fray to make it convenient but not noisy. We were close enough, however, to the actual Vestibul to hear the beautiful sounds of an a capella klapa chorus singing their Croatian songs several times a day.

The only thing that I would change would be to stay a day or two more than just the two nights that we stayed.

Hotel Vestibul Palace & Villa is idealy situated in Split. It's a very short walk to the Riva with all of it's cafes on the waterfront promenade. The staff was so very friendly, helpful and accomodating. They were particularly kind to me on Christmas Day, allowing me to relax and do things at my own pace in order to check out. I would stay there again!

My room was a little noisey, as I could hear people in nearby rooms and people on the street. However, it was Christmas time, so the festive season and I am a light sleeper, so this is to be expected.

The prompt courteous staff, nothing was to much trouble in fact they often preempted our needs. The rooms were comfortable clean & very modern. The location was great right in the middle of Dolectians palace with plenty of dining & drinking options available but quiet from the hustle & bustle. The buffet breakfast was also great.

Very good location , small but good designed luxery room , outside breakfast possiblity , very helpfull staff.we stayed 3 days in this hotel when i go to split again i will stay in this hotel

Amazing location. Gorgeous rooms and incredibly attentive and helpful staff made our stay an absolute pleasure. Would definitely go back there if we are ever back in split.

The only down side was that the hotel was a bit tricky to find when we first arrived.

Loved the location in the palace.

Difficult to find this hotel because it is almost hidden within the old walls but apart from that the hotel is fantastic. The decor, design, location are all special and the staff equally good.

Die Lage des Vestibul Palace ist hervorragend, inmitten des Diokletianspalastes. Das Personal ist freundlich, das Frühstück reichhaltig. Insgesamt ein sehr schickes kleines Hotel.

Leider lässt die Sauberkeit zu wünschen übrig. Das Zimmer war insgesamt sehr staubig. Der schöne Designertisch von Le Corbusier glänzte leider nur durch seine Staubschicht und auch die verchromte Heizung im Bad war durch den Staub schon sehr matt geworden. Schade, für einen Preis von 150 Euro hätten wir einen anderen Standard erwartet.
