Brilliant location. Staff were excellent. Loved waking up to the singers in the vestibul outside. The menu in the restaurant in the evening was exactly what we wanted. |

The hotel had an amazing location & architecture as well as fab design & interiors & a delicious buffet breakfast. There was even a classical singing group singing outside the palace for passing tours! |

Location-can't be beat- and beautiful design, excellent amenities and good beds and pillows.Breakfast is also excellent. Exceptionally nice and helpful staff.Bravo on customer service. The small size of the room was somewhat difficult and did not have adequate room for luggage.Additionally it should be kept in mind that there is no elevator, so keep that in mind when booking.Luckily we were on the second floor- so only had 2 flights of stairs. |

We stayed in the building Villa Dobric. The location was great (near the Diocletian Palace and the main building). Staff were very helpful and pleasant (carrying our luggage and parking our car). Excellent breakfast. Hotel was difficult to find (no signs in the city). |

The location was great, very close to the beach, resaurants and shops. It also had a quaint old fashioned charm. I thought it was very overpriced for what was offered and also a little dated. The clientele are all on the other side of 60 so felt a bit like a retirement home. You were not allowed to wear bathers in the hotel lobby even though it across the road from the beach. |

The hotel could not be more convenient, itfeels like it is inside the palace. You do have to carry your bags a long way from the street to the reception. |

To visit Split is a must, to sleep inside the walls of the acient Diocletian Palace is an opportunity none should miss and this hotel offers you the perfect spot. Everything was perfect, the breakfast, the staff, the rooms, the free internet,... that we could only stay for one night |

The location of the Hotel was excellent for exploring the Old Town, and was 5 minutes walk from the Harbour and Bus Station. The room was of a high standard and tastefully decorated. Staff spoke excellent English and were very helpful. Hotel only had 7 rooms and was not full, we did feel slightly shy of the number of staff attending to the 2 of us ! |

Hotel was inside the Palace, which was fantastic. It was also very quiet and hte staff was excessively helpful throughout. Breakfast was very robust, with options from across Europe, and the fruit basket in my room was a nice touch. Difficult to locate, and there is no elevator inside the hotel to go to the guest rooms. |

The staff although mainly very young were the most delightful, competant and welcoming I have experienced in 40 years of travel to many countries. On that basis alone I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough! The location was also excellent, the standard of rooms very good and the breakfast varied and tasty. I stayed twice, the second time in the Villa Dobrec annex and although the standard of accommodation was equally as good as that in the main hotel and it was a short walk away it was not quite as good as staying in the main hotel as the staff on duty was limited (however only a phone call away and very prompt to respond). This would still not prevent me from staying there if the main hotel was fully booked. |

The decor and design was fantastic as was the service..BRANAMIR Was one of the finest concierges I have met-what a wonderful young man. We loved the hotel very much. A few key things were missing: no robes in our room and the hairdryer was archaic--surprising because the hotel is quite expensive. Yes, no robes in room and lousy hairdrier--should update that. Also--was not told that theymoved us into the main hotel and were going to charge us an extra $50 euro--I had no idea until they told me at checkout. We resolved the issue but staff should tell people that if there was a room change there was a charge. |

Very nice hotel. Desing room in the old Palace. Friendly staff and good service. It was very difficult to find the hotel. Room was very small for the price. Not good for family with young children. I can recommend this hotel for couples. |

Staff was helpful. The hotel is up 2 flights of stairs in the pedestrian area. They helped us with our bags to the ferry. Unique setting in the heart of the old town. Great bathrooms. Windows need darker blackouts. As wiith all the hotels within the pedestrian part of the old city you cant get right up to the hotel with your taxi. So might have to drag your bags along the cobble stones or call the hotel for help. |

Everything from the superb location of the hotel to the attentiveness of the extremely friendly staff. Great exterior and interior design!! Even though the location is considered quaint, I can not recommend it to elderly or phisically challenged guests. It is virtually impossible to avoid climing those big steps surrounding the Diocletian Palace. Also the hotel's name should be better displayed, it is inconspicuous!!! |

The brand new Marmont Hotel is located in the heart of the old town of Split, only one minute away from Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. |
These nicely furnished apartments are located in the Žnjan quarter of Split, near the main beach and about a 40-minute easy walk along the sea away from the centre of Split. |
Our private, family run guesthouse has various sized, en suite rooms with air conditioning throughout; just 100 metres from the 1700 year-old Diocletian Palace. |
Benefiting from a perfect location next to the pedestrian promenade of Split in the town centre, the B&B Hotel Kastel is in the south of Diocletian's Palace. |
