The place was clean and comfortable. The owner marina was very nice and friendly and helpful. Was everything we expected

The apartment was clean with everything that we needed. Breakfast was great with a large variety of food. Our hostess was also very helpful and interesting to talk to.

Family Cancar are very friendly people in a very friendly country. They make you comfortable from arrival until departure.

Adres of accomodation could not be found with TomTom. Geographical coordinates had to be used to reach the accomodation.

One of the kindest host, clean room, calm environment, and variety of activities.

Room is as we expected, clean and well equiped. The lady is nice and helpful. Nice diversifed buffet for the breakfast

Onlt stayed there one night, as part of up our visit to Plitvice Lakes. We are a couple in our late fifties travelling with my mother in law in her late seventies. When we arrived we were all booked into the first floor which was up some steep stairs. It was no problem to upgrade our mother to an apartment on the ground floor. The owner Marina was very welcoming, and gave us great advice to where to go to for dinner. Fantastic breakfast, we were the only ones there, and had a very interesting time talking with Marina about her life in Croatia, particularly during the war times. She was the perfect host.

A charming place with a very nice lady in charge very friendly

This place was exactly what we had hoped for! Rooms were clean and comfortable and fairly big. breakfast was amazing by small hotel/guesthouse standards. the owner put out a huge spread every morning, including eggs and french toast, even though we were the only guests. a highlight for us was talking to the owner over breakfast - she shared a lot of stories about the area and the history of Croatia.

this is not a complaint about the hotel, but the area is limited in its restaurants, so if you are staying at plitvice for a longer time, a self catering option would be better. but for a couple nights, this Villa Cancar was great!

There is everything to like about Villa Cacar, the accomodation, the position and more than anything the charming owner Marina!

Nothing to dislike

if u are with car its only 5 min drive from main entrance in Plitvice. Room is big, comfort bad, clean bathroom, all furniture is new. Breakfast is very good. 100 m from pansion is supermarket

They used a strong air scent in the room that caused us to leave early.

Clean, comfortable rooms, with helpful staff and only a few kilometres away from Plitvice national park.

The apartment was in a great location, close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It was great value for money but more importantly our lovely Hostess Marina was exceptionally helpful, giving us directions to the park & recommending a local restaurant with wonderful local food and made our stay. Breakfast was freshly made in the morning. We would highly recommend Pansion Villa Cancar and if we are lucky enough to return to the area we would definitely love to stay here again. The three year old clean and modern accommodations are close to incredible natural beauty. The double room that we booked was very functional and compact. Marina was a good entertaining host while serving a full continental breakfast. Among the many accommodations in the area some of them more remote, Vila Cancar is a solid choice easy to reach on the main road to the national park that is about 10 minutes away.

It was well-located fairly near the park entrance, but there were lots of places that all looked similar in the area. This place was clean and attractive and well-operated by a nice couple. We had a two-room place which turned out to be awfully tight for our two teenagers in the living room. My son was sleeping on a fold-down chair that was not comfortable, but this may not be a problem for others.

Basic but very clean and comfortable toom. Everything worked, the TV, AC and WiFi. Pretty close to the National Park. Best to have a car though. Breakfast was very good with variety of selection. Great value for the money.

Clean and spacious room. The price include breakfast and the toast in fried egg was delicious. The location is easy to find.

No fridge or kettle in the room.

The room was simple and decorated nicely. The shower was spacious and spotless.

Very friendly, very clean, lovely owners, very welcoming on arrival. Apartment was just liovely and clean. We only stayed one night though, but all was very good. Evening hearty to say the least!

Everything was great. Great owners, great attitude, clean, spacious and well equipped rooms. Simple and tasty meals, at an affordable price. Breakfast was very good. Good location, not far from the Plitvicke National Park (well, you still need a car to get there). We reccomend it to everyone, you will enjoy it. Also they have a great homemade alcohol drink called Slivovica, try it, it is rocket fuel :)

Don know what is possible to say bad about this great hotel. Those who write something bad probably got mixed up with other hotels.

We spent two night at this really nice family run hotel. Our hostess was Marina who really takes interest in her guests. And she takes every effort to make sure her guests have a memorable stay at her hotel. The hotel itself is very nice too, the room we had was really clean and it had all comfort required to enjoy your stay. At the hotel is a nice terrace where breakfast and dinner is served, and these too are really great. If you stay at this hotel ask for the special jet fuel that Marina serves, it's a fantastic local drink and it fires up your night!

As a couple traveling through Croatia we found Villa Cancar a true gem. We would recommend this villa to any one traveling, especially those going to the Plitvice national Park. The villa It is a short drive away. The breakfast option was the best we had in all our travels. Stay there and you not be disappointed.
