It was within walking distance of the park. The bed wasn't very comfortable but that could be because it is a different culture. |

The fact that the owner accepts to change our room (room 4) after the first night of staying, the quiet of this area and the existence of very good parking places. The room 4 is rent only to make money and is an offense for the tourists that are coming there. The windows are in fact skylights and are opening in a kind of hall. In this room you do not have fresh air and natural light. |

Very nice villa, located close to entrance 2 of the Plitvice Lakes. Ideal if you're looking to visit the lakes, cause there's a very nice shortcut through the woods. Room was clean and has a nice bathroom with shower. The breakfast is repetitive, but just what you need to kick start your day: coffee, juice, some cheese, etc. tip: if you're coming from Zagreb, look for the first exit from the main street just after passing exit 2 and a sign saying "Mukinje" (there's also a Ski sign or something). If coming from the opposite direction, the same applies, but just look left when approaching the lakes and keep your eyes peeled. :) Not much to complain about. Just that once we arrived there, we found there cheaper, but still good looking villas to stay at. They all have flowers on the balcony and look like a fairy tale. But they don't advertise as much online, so you have to go there and find something. I can guarantee you will find rooms in September at half the price, but I can't say nothing about the comfort, cause we only saw the outside. So Vila Plitvica is a safe bet (and a very good one) if you don't mind spending a bit more. |

Well situated, about 2 km from the entrance to the park. Breakfast buffet was very poor, in both quantity and variety. Only two slices of cheese and ham per person; and some preserves. There is no reception desk; it took us good 10 min to find the owner. |

Very neat villa, excellent surroundings. 15 minutes walk to the lakes. Our room was very dark and a bit small. Strange and very intense noises from the waterpipes of the neighbouring bathrooms. |

I may say I liked everything: from the stuff and the comfort and cleaness inside the room, to the breakfast that was big enough for us, at least. I was also impressed by the fact that it was very close to Entrance 2 of Park Plitvice ( almost 15 minutes walking through the wood in the vicinity). The veranda on which we could go right from the room was opened and we enjoyed the coffees in the morning or the beer in the evening outside. The owner was very smiley and friendly. And she did speak English. It was a little hard to find with GPS but we asked people and they helped us find the Mukinje village and thus the villa also. But this fact may happen anywhere and it is not quite reffering to the villa itself. So I may say I cannot find anything to dislike. |

Location was good for the parks We all woke with bad backs due to the mattresses. The hotel was clean and very basic. The breakfast was the worst we have ever had in a hotel. Orange squash instead of orange juice and bread with a couple of pieces of ham and cheese - our children were starving by 10am! As others have said it is not close to the 2nd entrance but quite a long way past. Also agree it is a B&B not a hotel at all. |

Nice and clean rooms, refrigator in the hall, calm location, good pizzeria in the near. The location given on the map is not proper it's about 2km south from the Plitvice entrance (not just to the entrance). Walking to the Plitvice entrance on foot is rather not recommended (the street is narrow and has no shoulder / pavement and traffic is high) The entrance is easily accessed with a car. And I agree with opinions about the breakfast (small choice and portions). |

It was more than 15 minutes to the park. The restaurant was in fact in the house next door. The shower cubicle in one of the rooms was broken and there was no hanging / drawer space. It is really a B&B as opposed to a hotel. |
