Mimi was a gracious and helpful hostess. The B & B was beautiful and perfect for our needs.
Very nice view
The Villa was an extraordinary place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would really recomend this place.
We liked the whole package, maybe the stairs could have been fewer up to the Villa.
The owners were very friendly and the room is very clean and confortable.
It´s very difficult to find (The GPS couldn´t find the address). We had to park the car and try to find the place walking and asking people. We had lots of difficulties with the internet access, and this caused some problems to us, as we usually use the internet to book the next accomodations during our trip.
The bed matrass, the pillows of poor quality and the bed sheets were not 100% cotton unfortunately
Perfexly located to walk into old city for sight seeing and going out for dinner. (It is down hill/ and up again but no problem for most people)The resident cat was charming. Quality and variety of food is excellent.
Very hard to find when first arriving. Need gps location of the parking, and walking map to facility. Owner facilitates parking once in the public garage. Our preference is for hotter coffee or warmer milk.
Location View Comfortable
great location for old-town (provided you're fit enough for lots of steps). very helpful and friendly family. great breakfast. terrace was a marvellous place to sit and relax. public garage parking was very convenient (100 m), (but not cheap).
absence of tea/coffee making facilities. 1 set of keys per room caused problems on occasion; 2 would have been helpful.
location (15 minutes walk up/down to Old City), friendly welcome, rooms have nice view on the Sea, optional car park nearby (3 minutes walk, 15 EUR/day), nice garden
very very difficult to find (no indication given), bed somehow hard, expensive...
Mimi and her family made us feel very welcome by extending their warm hospitality. Was a wonderful trip and will be sure to return
Bring insect repellant, lots of mossies in Dubrovnik
The family went above and beyond to help provide our family with a comfortable stay. They helped to arrange transfers, food and other logistics -- including calling the ferry company and checking weather forecasts to ensure that we could catch our ferry. The breakfast was delicious and the facilities successfully combined modern amenities with character-filled ambience. We were even offered some complimentary schnapps and other refreshments. The location was perfect -- outside the walls but just a few minutes' walk. We would highly recommend Villa Anica.
A lovely room with a great bathroom in a renovated only home within easy walking distance of the old city. Warm hospitality, a good breakfast and help with transport to the airport. We loved being able to retreat here in the heat of the afternoon for a glass of wine in the cool breezeway before heading out again for dinner in the evening. The steps home were great exercise.
Everything was great! Very friendly and helpful hosting family. We got many good tips from them of local restaurants, walking trails, activities, concerts etc. Location good - we like walking so did not mind the stairs to the old town. WiFi worked perfectly as well as air conditioning. Good breakfast, too. Airport shuttle service worked perfectly, too. Even the cat was nice!
We liked everything. The only minor thing was that the shower would need something to dry the wet floor.
We travelled to Dubrovnik for our honeymoon. When we came upon our Villa we were greeted by the lovely owner Mimi. She and her husband Goran were genuinely warm hearted and care about their guests. Their home is beautiful and we enjoyed staying there and also sailing with Goran and their son. One day we will have a return visit to see the magnificent walled city, stay at Villa Anica and look forward to seeing our friends Mimi and Goran once again. Beautiful, unforgettable honeymoon!
There isnt anything to not like about Villa Anica.
The house and ther garden, the peaceful green surroundings, the closeness to the old city and the stimulating exercise climbing the 200 steps home after dinner
Beautiful outdoor patio for breakfast and relaxing. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Room was comfortable with large, very nice ensuite bathroom.
Not a thing. I would stay there again.
Beautiful views above city from the verandah, very friendly family and the most comfortable mattress. Excellent all round!
Beautiful spacious bedroom and bathroom Ex location Relatively close parking Ankica very friendly and helpful Recommended an excellent restaurant Very nice breakfast
Beautiful views--not a flashy place, but it had a good location without being in a city. They also offer excursion opportunities. We hope to be back soon!
Though it was fine for us, this may not be the place for travelers who have difficulty with stairs (requires a steep climb to and from the Old City). Most of Dubrovnik requires scaling steps, however.
The villa is ideally located only 10mins walk from the old town and close to a lot of major bus routes. It sits beautifully on the top of the hill with lovely views of the sea and with a large garden that all guests can use. The owners were very helpful and gave us lots of tips on where to go for swimming, dinner etc - all suggestions were spot on and made our stay even more enjoyable.
Location is fantastic - 2 mins walk to old city. Mimi is so warm and helpful. Secluded garden with spacious feeling. Loved it!
Our hosts were fantastic and the overall stay was superb. A very comfortable stay with good facilities, a great breakfast and only 5-7 minutes walk from the Old Town. We loved Dubrovnik and we would stay again.
if you go there by your car, you should ask (you have to go to the entrance after parking your car somewhere and walk)
Srdan and Mimi were extremely accomodating. My wife and I stayed 1 evening to enable us to stay and enjoy the city before our move on to our holiday destination in Montenegro. Srdan picked us up from the airport, was there to greet us, took our cases, and had a cheery disposition, even stopping on the way to the hotel to enable me to take some pictures of the bay. The journey which took us right to the hotel door, was roughly 20 mins and cost us 350 Kuna (about 35 Euro), the going rate by all accounts, but with a personal touch. A very nice young man. His mother Mimi was there to greet us and show us to our room, which was modern, airy, and well kitted out with all the items required for our stay. We had arrived earlier than the 2pm get-in, but this was no problem, and we were offered a cup of tea and lunch. The view from the window was very picturesque. The bathroom housed a walk-in shower and a bidet which the wife loved. We were given keys to our room and the entrances and off we went to explore. Dubrovnic Old Town is a beautiful destination and we were right in the heart of it. It is not for the faint-hearted though, since there are lots of steps. In the morning we were ushered to the verandah to enjoy a fabulous breakfast (10 euros each) and I was Extremely impressed that Mimi had made a point of purchasing items that my wife was able to eat (she is coeliac and allergic to Wheat and Gluten) 'Top Notch' service in accomodating her. After breakfast, by prior arrangement, we were able to enjoy some more sights in the town and leave our luggage safely at the hotel, even though our check-out was meant to be 10am. We were then whisked back to the airport and dropped by her son at 4pm. Thank-you both. Excellent.
We were unable to think of anything we didn't enjoy, and Srdan and Mimi were both accomodating and Informative.
Extra special so well cared for by Mimi;her husband and son .
