The pleasant staff helped with directions, made the computer available and were good people. The bedstead was strange as it was metal and the mattress was not much above the metal sides causing arms to be bruised if not very careful |

We requested a lower floor room; that request was honored. These requests are often overlooked. We were able to check in early. As we had an early morning departure and missed breakfast, they provided us with a "sack" breakfast. All people at reception were extremely courteous and helpful. Although I could have carried my luggage up and down the 20 steps, hotel staff performed that task for me. |

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, and we appreciated the wi-fi internet. Location was fantastic! We found it very easy to get to and parking was easy for us. Great place to stay for a short visit to Split. We only stayed one night, so we have no complaints at all, but I'm not sure the room would be very comfortable for an extended stay. Having said that, keep in mind we only saw one room. We would stay here again. |

Helpful staff, clean room, good airconditioning and a very good central location for all the sites and the public transport. Double beds are two singles shoved together. The shower head required a bit of fixing to work and it's central location means it's close to a busy road which requires having the windows closed at night. |

Very good location - 5 mins from Split old town and also 5 mins from the beach and harbour. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Fairly noisy, as next to main road, due to central location. However, fairly good sound proofing when all windows closed. |

The kindness and comptence of the staff and the location at a walking distance from the main touristic area. It is almost impossible to park the car near the hotel. The hotel is located in a very noisy area (a main street with a lot of traffic) so I would recommend it only for a short stay. |

The staff was extremely helpful and kind. Just a short walk into town. On a busy street, but on room was quiet. Unfortunately, the lovely breakfast terrace faced the noisy street. |

Very happy with friendly staff, well-renovated room, free cold water and comfortable open-air restaurant with delicious foods. Location is excellent for beaches, bus terminal, ferry landing and the old city. Not really. Shower area is small for me but it is standard for Europe. You may need ear plug if you go to bed rather early because of the noise from the busy traffic in front of the street. |

We were very well received, the staff were extremely helpful and courteous, going out of their way to make our stay comfortable. I also enjoyed the fact that the hotel was very close to the city centre and walking distance to the main attractions. |

The desk clerk on the day shift was extremely helpful. There is a reasonably priced restaurant attached to the hotel and we ate the cont' breakfast and one lunch and one very nice dinner their.Because we had a early flight, buss transportation did not seem a wise choice. The hotel owner will take you for about $50US and while if may seem expensive, it was a good choice. This hotel is 5 minutes walk to old town, the bus/boat/train/beach/night life. Not taxis needed. The A/C could have been a little colder but it was OK. Guest should have a clear understanding of how to get to the hotel before arrival . We only found on local boy who knew the street we needed (It was a main street ) Guest should leave the bus station and face the water or dock, turn right on the the sidewalk and walk on the sidewalk it will loop around the bus station (sidewalk stands will be across street to your left) and just take the one way street up the small hill so the bus station is on your right side up about 1/4 mile . The hotel is on the left. No need for a cab unless you have lots of bags. Also, hotel has no elevator so if a problem, try to book the lobby level room) |

Hotel is a beautiful stone house that is most beautiful in this part of town. Room has a modern bathroom, it is nicely decorated and comfortable. Breakfast is rich and varied, excellent coffee. Food in a restaurant is for every compliment as well as staff. It has only 6 rooms. |

It is not far from the center of the city, but it is hard to find the way to the hotel. The housekeeping lady was so kind and smart. Without her assist, we would have changed the hotel at soon. There is very very big difference among rooms, althogh the hotel has just 6 rooms. The room we had to stay at first night was terrible. It is one of worst rooms in my travel life. It is too small for two. It is just a loft. The room we moved next day was good and spacious. But the price of the 2 rooms are not different. It is unreasonable. Without kind and good housekeeping lady's help, we coundn't have changed the room. We cannot forget the miserable feeling in the first night. The firtst room was noisy inspite it is far from the ground. The second room was large and quiet. |

Staff was very helpful... and location was central. The recent refurbishment makes for a very nice feeling of home. Include a map on line about how to find it. |

Our private, family run guesthouse has various sized, en suite rooms with air conditioning throughout; just 100 metres from the 1700 year-old Diocletian Palace. |
Benefiting from a perfect location next to the pedestrian promenade of Split in the town centre, the B&B Hotel Kastel is in the south of Diocletian's Palace. |
The small and charming family-run Hotel Authentic enjoys a prime location in the old town of Split, only 3 minutes to the popular sandy beach Bacvice, which has the Blue Flag. |
The Garden's Apartments & Cottages enjoy a central location in Split, less than a 5-minute walk from Diocletian's Palace and the Riva, at the foot of Marjan hill. |
