We booked this hotel as we were visiting the Plitvice Lakes neaby. There were 5 adults we had apartment #1 it was ideal ,very clean and plenty of room.Comfortable beds free Wi fi Supermarket just across the road for supplies and an excellent restaurant that our hosts suggested just within walking distance,traditional croatian food good value. OUr host even did the washing for Nothin me.Breakfast was substanial and very good. Nothing too much trouble.

Excellent view and mint aroma at night. For car travelers this is a convenient place to stay on the way to Plitvickie Jezera. Mini-market just next to the hotel. Very beautiful flowers on the terrace. Breakfast was good and huge. But we expected breakfast made of local food - not from mini-market. Also we couldn't communicate with the staff neither in English nor in German but at least we'd understood each other, hosts were pleasant and ready to help. Maybe it was a good idea to stay in Rastoke (Slunj) on the old mill - there is much more scenic view, but more expensive and ~20km farer from Villa Hodak and Plitvickie Jezera.

The offer didn't match with the condition. Even they say there is a room with toilette and bathroom, the toilette and bathroom are not in the room, there are on hall, share with other persons. It was very unpleasant, but we must stay because we arrive at 9.00 pm and we didn't have other possibility.

Nice view from the room; clean and spacious room; wireless internet works in the lobby; market and bus stop is very close by Use of kitchen is very limited (cannot cook anything!); hosts speak only Balkan and German; getting to/from lakes without a car is difficult (must wait for irregular buses and the road is not safe for walking)

This hostel was clean. Hot water, powerful shower, flush toilet. The location is terrible. It is on a main highway and if you do wind up staying here, make sure you specify that you do not want a room in the front side of the building. It was honestly a terrible experience listening to noisy trucks, cars, motorcycles all night long. There are so, so, so many more places to stay in this area because of the National Park and lakes, you will have no trouble finding a better place to stay. I doubt it was because of the high season (August, 2011). Please just go there and get off the beaten path and find a little, quaint home stay that will offer much more comfort, relaxation and peace. No offense to the nice German couple who own/run the place. They were sweet, but scammed us into accepting the first room, which was the worst room!

Supermarket just opposite the pension. We got a room facing the road, very noisy even have Windows closed. No air condition making the room a bit hot in summer. Common kitchen with microwave only.

Die Villa Hodak ist eine super saubere Familienpansion! Es ist urgemütlich, abends mit den Gastleuten zusammenzusitzen und über alles Mögliche zu reden. Wir waren über fünf Tage dort. Dabei bekamen wir eine Menge wichtiger Tips, wie und wo man sich etwas anschauen kann. Unsere Kinder haben sich auch sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir hatten Schwierigkeiten, sie am Ende der Woche, von dort wegzubekommen.Vielen Dank nocheinmal für die schöne Zeit!

Cerca de los lagos Plitvice, hotel muy limpio, comfortable y con wi-fi. La pension es genial, pero queda al lado de la carretera y por la noche se oye mucho ruido. No tiene aire acondicionado.

Ottima la posizione per la visita al parco dei laghi di plitvice ( circa 2/3 km).LA Nostra camera era spaziosa, con tv sat e bagno privato. La nostra camera non era climatizzata.la colazione non è inclusa nel prezzo ( € 6,00 a persona su richiesta). Alcune stanze hanno il bagno in comune.

Super locatie! Meren zijn bereikbaar in slechts 10 min met de auto. Zeer goede prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Met z'n 3en hadden we een ruime, eenvoudige, zeer nette kamer met een eigen badkamer. Gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en spreekt goed Duits. Ook handig, supermarkt en een restaurant zijn op loopafstand.
