We had an apartment with 2 separate bedrooms. Each bedroom was really spacious. The apartment was very cosy. Located in quiet and peaceful surroundings. It can be quite hard to find, especially at night. The name of the hotel (or for that matter, any of the other hotels in the vicinity) is not signposted from the road. |

We had a wonderful stay- the Villa Katja is in a beautiful area, very close to the entrance of the Plitvice Park. The owner, Igor is very hospitable, willing to help with all plans and directions and fixed a wonderful breakfast. We had a very enjoyable stay and I highly recommend it. I suggest writing ahead and getting exact directions to the zimmer- we arrived at night and the long drive on the dark road made it difficult to find. But, we called and Igor immediately came to meet us and lead us to the zimmer. |

Owners were very helpful, room's clean and quiet. Private bathroom's were across hallway rather than en-suite. It's a little further away from Plitvice than i had expected. |

The owner family is very kindly. They picked up us form bus stop and also brought us to Plitvicka Jezera. The room was very crean and comfortable. It is too difficult for you to walk from bus stop to hotel, if you have small children. There is only one restaurant which you can take dinner. |

Close to the entrances to Plitvice lakes. Helpful owners who spoke good English. Free wireless internet. Comfortable accommodation. Quiet because it is back from the road. A lot of places in the area get annoying road noise. The owners are willing to drop you at the Lakes and pick you up which saves paying for parking. It has a kitchen but the equipment was limited - just 2 gas burners and no microwave so it would be difficult to manage for more than 2 people. Lights were in odd places and did not all work. It is tricky to find - down a small road that runs parallel to the main road. |

The staff was friendly and helpful. They give you a ride to the park entrance and even to a market. The room was small but clean. The breakfast was excellent. Our private bathroom was outside of the room, but it seems to be common in the accomodations in this area. |

The people who own and run it are kind and warm, treat you like guests in their home, give you a free ride to the Plitvice Nature Park (1-2 km away) and pick you up when you're done visiting the lakes. They give you good advice how to see the most in the time you have and show you on a map the best way to tour. In this way, staying at Villa Katja gives you the same access to the Lakes as the hotels within the park itself at half the price. We were very late on arrival (by car), long past the check-in time, and had yet to give children some dinner. The hosts were very nice on the phone, said we could take our time to eat, recommended a place just outside the village, and waited up for us until past 11 p.m. I'm very grateful to them. The breakfast (optional) is very basic even for the price, which is cheap. I feel they could perhaps add some boiled eggs or pate or spread cheese for people who are not crazy about butter and jam. Having said that, I'm sure they would have given us whatever, if we had only asked. |

The villa is very nice and cosy and also the staff. There were 2 guys helping us with everything and one of them offered to tell us more about the area and gave us some tips. Breakfast was complete and tasty. Good services! The room that we got was quite small, but it was enough because we have stayed only one night. No air conditionned. |

Strong recommendation! Excellent Service, Igor was very friendly and always helpful, provided a pick up service from the bus (200m but hard to find) and brought us to the trail for the Plitvice Lake np (must- see!). Breakfast was not included but provided for 5 eur, very nice and sufficient for an entire day! We would always come back! |

The family who runs the place are extremely hospitable, friendly, and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was nice and large; it had two rooms, which was beneficial because our kids could sleep separate from us. The kitchen was well equipped, although we didn't use it much (we could've cooked if we wanted, but we mostly ate at restaurants). |
