Excellent location , close to old town and cable car
wi fi is not as it should be
Location, hospitality, facilities, friendliness of the staff.
The signal of WiFi was unstable on the attic floor.
View is beautifull. You are few steps away from Old Town and cable car. Recommendations
Excelent location, nice view from the balcony.
Little bit old fashioned furniture.
The location was amazing. Our balcony overlooked old town Dubrovnik. With the small kitchen we were able to cook our own meals and then walk into the town to enjoy all of the amazing sights. The owner washed our laundry and then hung them out to dry! I wish we could have stayed longer.
Great location for cable car and castle
Poor communication, owners didn't speak English only the son but very little and he was always watching every move of us when leaving and arriving at villa which made us feel uncomfortable. When we arrived our room wasn't ready. Was put into another room for the night. When we were moved up stairs the room we were supposed to go into, the shower was really small and my partner is really talk therefore he wouldn't have been able to stand up in shower. Moved into room next door and the shower was broken along with the toilet seat. Rooms were very old fashioned and need some work. Also when you walked into the villa it always smelt really bad of cigarettes and a just a mouldy smell. Wasn't a very good stay at all! Would not recommend.
Location, 5 minutes and you're in the centre of the old town.
Bathroom tiny and didn't even have a holder on the wall for the shower head. House stinks of wet dog. Spots of damp on the walls, ceiling and paintings on the wall in the "apartment". Apartment itself smells of damp, to my horror only realised on the last day the smell of damp was from the mattress. The "apartment" is an en-suite room with a kitchenette put into what was once the balcony of the room. The "apartment" is far too small for 2 people to have a comfortable stay. Only for it was cheap and only there for a short time we would have complained and refused to stay. Pictures certainly do not match the product. Wifi was awful. The owner turns it off at night. When it's on it's very hard to pick up the signal and when you get it, drops off. Wifi in the old town bars and restaurants is excellent so no excuse! The owner has obviously had the property for many years. Perhaps she should take some of the profits she's made over the years and invest it back into the property and give guests paying money what they deserve a comfortable and clean accommodation. A shame because it has the bones of being a very good accommodation.
Friendly and helpful owners Good value for money
Space a little cramped
Good location to old town, but I would prefer a place farther away that comes without the below deficits.
Room was small, extremely mouldy (visible and, more importantly, very dominant smell of mould, impossible to survive smell without keeping the windows constantly open), noisy (you can hear all noises of fellow travellers next door), shabby and all the time full of mosquitos. Wireless internet is practically non-existent, at least in the upper floors of the house. I have seen rooms of friends who stayed in other places: this place offers much much much less value for money than all the other places I have seen in Dubrovnik, is heavily overpriced and definitely not recommended. I felt like leaving early in the morning and coming home as late as possible, just to avoid staying in the room!
Close to the old town.
The room was not clean. The bathroom had no ventilation whatsoever so it smells like molds. Beds were uncomfortable. The kitchen supplies were very limited. WIFI barely worked.
Location is excellent
The room was not the same as pictured in the ad. Terrible value for money
Smelly rooms. Terrible WiFi. Hand held shower. Attitude of manager.
Very clean, good value for money and only a short walk from the old town. Anna, the host, was very friendly and check-in was a breeze. It's also located very close to an airport bus stop and the cable car. Soft fluffy towels and nice bed linen were welcomed.
Wifi signal wasn't very strong in our room. The bathroom was a little claustrophic but very clean and functional.
First of all the location is superb. It is right outside the city wall, next to the airport shuttle stop and the cable cart station. It easily reached from the main bus station, with a direct bus (nr. 8). The room itself was fine for us, although I understand some of the other comments. The bathroom is small. There was a lovely little balcony area in the kitchen. We stayed for 1 night and it was more than adequate for this, especially considering we got a very good rate. I would recommend Villa Kosuta to anyone that is staying one or two nights in Dubrovnik the visit (the absolutely amazing!) old town.
The kitchen itself was small and had very little utilities, it would be hard to actually prepare a meal there. There were also quite a few ants around. As mentioned the bath room is small. To compensate for these points you do get an insane amount of TV channels!
Great location, nice host, fine terrace
The apartment was actually a room, there isn't any living room, but one armchair. The house is a bit under maintained.
It's a convenient location, located right next to the Town Walls. They were able to find parking on the street for us. While the room is small and uncomfortable, but has AC, location was more important to us.
It was hard to find; bed is hard as a rock; no breakfast provided as indicated.
