Villa Nela  

The views were sensational. Staff were lovely. Was quiet, peaceful, tranquil.

Nothing really that I didn't like. Sheets were a little thing and he guest manual could have been more detailed but other than that is was wonderful.

*Very friendly helpfull staff. *Nice size studio apartment with great sea views from the balcony, clean blankets on the bed and fresh towels when wanted. *Double-glazed windows are keeping the noise and heat from the outside out. *Well-kept garden/bar/pool area. The whole area around the complex looks very beautiful. *Free use of kayak boats and mountainbikes.

*The apartment complex is quit noisy because of the plumbing, tiled floors and wooden furniture. The walls and doors are thin and not soundproof at all, you understand every word of your neighbours, know when they shower/WC and going in & out. You do need earplugs to have a good night's sleep. (I really hope they don't build the new elevator inside the building, this would ad to the noice nuisance inside the complex...) *The mattrasses need to be replaced; you feel the spiral springs coming through the toplayer. *There are no blackout curtains so you wake up with the first sunbeam. *For cooking you are missing some essential items like a small cook's knife and spatula. A combi microwave oven, toaster and watercooker would also come in handy in a apartment. *Inside the shower cabine there's no shelf to put your shampoo on, and there is only a handshower - which you can't hang on the wall and then stand under it. *There was no brochure or folder in the room with information about the area, excursions or Villa Nela. I think with some small changes and smart thinking, this could become a really comfortable holiday home-from-home.

Lovely little hotel right on the coast of Petrcane (literally a stone's throw from the sea) with friendly helpful owners. We were made to feel welcome straight away. The apartment was small but very clean with a little balcony/terrace and cooking facilities. The table tennis and bikes available for free were great! Very relaxing place to stay.

The location near the beach. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The local bar next door was nice for; ice cream, sandwich or a beer/drink.

Not many restaurant options near to the hotel, but 10 - 15 minute walk there are a few from which to choose.

Location is really good near beachfront and in walking distance of town. Nice balcony with great view from room.

- Although parking is private, it is very difficult to access so not recommended for larger cars. - staff not overly friendly ( with some exceptions) - room is basic but you need to hold up the shower as there is nowhere to hang it . accordingly to the staff, this is normal... - Please note that if you intend on really cooking in the appartement, the kitchen is really basic with minimum of equipment. Good fridge . No seperate seating area in appartement. - please note that breakfast is not in Vila Nela, neither in the beach bar but in the appartments pirat which is 2 streets further ( 4 minute walk or shuttle ) . Breakfast was ok but staff could sometimes not follow with the amount of people arriving at the same time ( they could not top up the buffet quick enough) .Variety of breakfast was ok except for the juice ( which was I think limenade with lots of water added (-:) All in all, Vila Nela was not a good choice for us. A pity because we think Vila Nela has great potential to become a really good value but there is a need of good management and some small updating of the apartments.

The best thing at villa nela is the garden and the proximity of the sea. Also the fact that it is a pet friendly hotel. We loved the area and the people there as well. Zadar is beautiful and not too big...

Lack of information. No one told us that we have breakfas included as the booking confirmation from bookings.com clearly stated that the food is not included. . We missed 4 days of breakfast as a result. Also they drained the swimming pool in the middle of our stay for two days. The kitchenette is extreamly small, not enough kitchenware. However we got a 10% discount for out inconvenience do that helped a little. I would much rather have everything as it should be though.:) all in all we will go back to villa nela as all the cons were highly compensated by the pros such as the garden etc...

Great location....Very close to the sea (stone beach). Only 10 minutes walk to the local restaurants and supermarkets in Petrcane. Old city of Zadar easy to reach by local bus or car. Comfortable rooms. Friendly, helpful staff.

Lage, Pool, Bar

Mooie ligging in klein dorpje. Zeer vriendelijke eigenares/management. Receptioniste was erg behulpzaam met tips voor de omgeving. Er is een gezellige strandbar. De villa ligt aan een stenen kade, met trapjes naar zee. Je kunt de ligbedden van hen daarop gebruiken. Overigens: auto moet na uitpakken, geparkeerd worden op een afgesloten parkeerplaats een paar huizen verderop.

Douchekop kon niet worden opgehangen.

Unkomplizierter, sehr freundlicher Empfang durch englischsprachige Mitarbeiterin. Das Zweizimmerappartement wurde persönlich übergeben und war sehr sauber. In den Schränken lagen Strandtücher, Bademäntel, zusätzliche Kissen und Decken bereit. Die drei Räume sind über moderne Schalteinheiten klimatisierbar. Vorteil: durch die kleine Zimmergröße lassen sie sich abends sehr schnell kühlen, über Nacht dann, wenn die Aussentemperaturen runtergehen, lässt es sich wunderbar bei Meeresrauschen und offenen Fenstern schlafen. Der große Balkon mit Blick auf Pool, Garten und Meer, ausgestattet mit Tisch und gepolsterten Stühlen sowie einem Wäscheständer, ist ein Traum. Die kleine Küche mit zwei Herdplatten und Geschirr für 4 Personen reicht für die Zubereitung von einfachen Gerichten. Die Außenanlagen sind sehr gepflegt, der Pool wird jeden Morgen gereinigt. Im Garten stehen Liegestühle mit Polsterauflagen bereit. Es stehen Seekajaks (einschl. Schwimmwesten) und Fahrräder kostenlos bereit. Es gibt keinen Straßenverkehr - die Villa Nela liegt am Ende einer Sackgasse. An der Strandbar mit reichlich Sitzplätzen bekommt man ordenlichen Kaffee, alle möglichen Getränke und Kleinigkeiten zu Essen. Der Strandbereich ist gepflaster mit Zugängen über zwei Treppen und eine Bootsrampe mit Geländer, das ist Super für Gehbehinderte. Der Kiesstrand fällt direkt ab dem Pflasterbereich mittelsteil ab - sehr gut, wenn frau/man direkt losschwimmen möchte. Das Wasser war kristallklar - aus dem Boot sieht man locker 4 Meter auf den Meeresgrund. Für kleinere Kinder gibts einen Seepool direkt in den Pflasterstrand eingemauert -> tolle Sache. Für den Strandurlaub mit Familie kann man das Auto die ganze Woche stehen lassen - wobei Zadar natürlich absolut sehenswert ist. Zum kleinen Konzum-Supermarkt an der Promenade von Petrcane geht es in 10 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Nachsaisonpreis für die Appartements ist für das Gebotene sehr günstig. Die Vila Nela ist alles in allem eine tolle Location.

Wir hatten ein Appartement im obersten Stock des Hauses. Darüber sind auf dem Dach zwei zentrale Klimaeinheiten für die Versorgung der Klimageräte in den Zimmern der Vila Nela montiert, die auch nachts mehrmals anlaufen und entsprechende Geräusche machen, die unteren Etagen sind sicher leiser.

Einrichtung Zimmer vorallem Bad veraltet, tlw. defekt nur Instatnt Kaffe beim Frühstück weil Espresso Maschine defekt (wurde nicht repariert sonder verdeckt damit die Leute nicht mehr fragen) Zimmer werden nicht gereinigt während Aufenthalt; 3 Fernseher im Appartment aber nur einer funktioniert Meerwasser Pool (war so nicht beschrieben)

Ottima la posizione, proprio sul mare. Bello il giardino- con prato verde (raro in Croazia) - degradante sul mare. Essendo una villa con pochi appartamenti, è una sistemazione molto tranquilla (piscina e mare mai affollati).

L'appartamento non mi è piaciuto. Quello con una sola camera da letto è così piccolo che nella cucina non c'è posto neppure per un tavolo (che è sul balcone). Inoltre, in quella micro cucina c'era anche il divano letto dove doveva dormire il nostro bambino. Insomma, abbiamo passato una settimana nello stretto, al punto che a volte abbiamo dovuto rinunciare a cenare a casa per la mancanza di spazio. Il nostro balcone, che eravamo costretti ad usare molto, dava su un campeggio molto frequentato... Il mare, poi, non è certo all'altezza delle aspettative degli italiani: poco accessibile (ovunque sassi e cemento) e spesso molto freddo.

Zeer aangename locatie met aantrekkelijk zwembad; Op wandelafstand van de zee. De strandbar is een bijkomende troef om gezellig bij te praten (geen geluidshinder want sluit op tijd ca. 22.00 uur). Een echte aanrader voor verblijf gezin met jongere kinderen. De kamers met uitzicht op zwembad en de zee zijn super. Echte vakantiesfeer en toch niet rumoerig. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de omliggende streek te verkennen ! (stad Zadar is zeker een bezoek waard , alsook een dagexcursie naar Kornati/Telascica is een must; Dorpje Nin ook een aanrader)

Airco werkt prima, maar is in de nacht iets te luidruchtig.
