The main advantage of this town is its proximity to Dubrovnik, "the Pearl of the Adriatic" (16 km), as well as to Cilipi Airport (5 km), the Bosnia and Herzegovina border (20 km), and the Montenegro border (30 km). There are transportation connections with Dubrovnik city, the most interesting one being the boat service which operates hourly to Dubrovnik from Cavtat old town from April to October. The boat arrives directly in Dubrovnik old town and the journey time is approx. 30-40 minutes. The other way of transportation is a bus, which operates every half an hour from both directions. Other attractions include excursions to offshore islands such as Mljet and the Elaphite Islands, as well as day trips to Montenegro and Mostar, to name a few.

Positief aan Villa Stanovic is de locatie. Je zit kort bij uitvalswegen en het is maar een stukje lopen naar het centrum van Cavtat. Voor ons was dit Ideaal. Bij het Hotel zit ook een parkeer gelegenheid wat voor ons erg praktisch was aangezien we een auto hadden gehuurd. Jammer dat we de eigenaar van het hotel alleen bij aankomst en vertrek heel kort hebben gezien. Ook is de hotelkamer in onze verblijfs week niet schoongemaakt en zodoende geen nieuwe schone handoeken. (gelukkig hadden we zelf deze voor de zekerheid meegenomen). Verder was mijn indruk dat er bij de hotelkamer er faciliteiten waren om zelf een eenvoudige maaltijd te kunnen bereiden. Maar helaas was dit ook bij onze kamer niet van toepassing. Qua ontbijt, lunch was dit dus af en toe even behelpen. |

Leuk stadje met gezellige terassen bij de haven. Praktische ligging vlakbij Dubrovnik en bij het vliegveld. Goede en gratis parkeergelegenheid. Laag overvliegende vliegtuigen geen probleem. Interieur appartement aan de karige kant. Te weinig keukenattributen om echt zelf maaltijden te bereiden. |

The resort of Cavtat is delightful and the sea views from the balcony were superb. The decor was somewhat dated and in need of an upgrade. Also we asked for a double bed and were given 2 singles pushed together |

View. Host was very friendly and accommodating. Fridge in room. TV worked well. Clean. Good basic accommodation at very reasonable price but would not be of the standard of decent B&B in UK or Ireland While only 500m from Cavtat waterfront , it was not safe to walk down particularly in the dark. Only one sheet on the bed and a throwover and a blanket - not very hygenic. Unfortunately not a high enough level of comfort for our needs but would be a very good option for people who generally use hostels, caravans etc |

Comfortable room with balcony with superb view over the bay to Dubrovnik in the distance. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Very convenient for Dubrovnik airport so makes excellent stopover acccomodation - we stayed here on our nights of arrival and departure. The bed linen was very minimalistic: sheets are a bit too small for the bed and we were cold on first night in early October, but knew to ask for extra blankets when we returned. It's bit of a hike back up from Cavtat town if you don't have a car or fit legs. |

Liked the balcony and the view, closeness to the town and bus service to the airport ( although the owner recommended we call a taxi as she said there was no direct bus route) Nice shared kitchen but poorly lit. shower need upgrading -flimsy sliding doors leaked. |

Only the weather, the balcony and the view. The air conditioning worked.The way the owner and the tourist office rep helped us sort out the issues when we raised them. Size, layout and furnishing of room. There were supposedly three beds (one sofa) but it really was hardly big enough for two of us. The shower was not a full shower, but mixer taps mounted half way up the wall with a shower head attached. There was only one tap and cold water at the sink.This room is really only suitable for back packers and those prepared for a 600m hill walk into town. Very overpriced. |

The staff were approachable and the location was good. As a backpacker, when you splash out on a room in a hotel you expect to get what you pay for. The tv didn't work. The shower head holder was broken. They didnt do much to control a group of kids running amok for a couple of hours at night on my floor despite a call to reception to rectify the situation. Breakfast was pretty average. It was more like a hostel. |

The proximity of airport and the small beach town vibe rather than floundering through big city of nearby Dubrovnik. Great view from terrace. At top of hill a short distance from town, the uphill climb was not appreciated by friends, especially if you have to do it more than once a day, |

The excellent location of this "appartment" in Cavtat (close to Dubrovnik) offers a lovely view on the bay with superb sunsets. A quick walk down to the waterfront of Cavtat and a lovely ride on an inexpensive boat to Dubrovnik made our stay here a wonderful experience. Fridge and stove and utensils make it possible to prepare your own meals here. I would highly recommend this place. |

Great location, amazing view from the terrace, probably the best in town. proximity to the old town and most beaches. The room was not cleaned as it was stated in the brochures. But you could find the vacuum cleaner downstairs and do the job. You should be prepared for a very basic room with bed that makes strange sounds and water overflowing from the shower cabin to the floor in the bathroom. But the beautiful view out of the room makes you totally forget all those little things. |

It was quietly around. Location is convenient. Transfert to Airport Dubrovnik is 10 min and 10 euro. Bathroom is extremely poor with comfort: small and ancient, there are no crochets for towels. |

It was clean, quiet and has parking but more importantly has a wonderful view from the balcony that a great many other places of any price category would have difficulty matching. It is quite close to the airport, but there seems to be an arrangement in place that there are no night flights. The flights in fact land by coming in over the town so it's quitte a spectacle if you enjoy that sort of thing! |

We felt welcome. Upon telephone request from the local tourist office, the owner picked us up free at the bus terminal. For a reasonable price, he drove us to the airport at 05:20. Beautiful view of the bay. |

Friendly owners, good loaction (but a steep uphill climb from cavtat centre), parking, airconditioning. Large communal kitchen/dinning room. Would benefit from a safe and fridge in the room (although there is a fridge in the communal kitchen). |

Fantastic location up in mountains with amazing view of the coast. Only 5 min walk to Cavtat town and to beaches. Apartment itself was lovely, with cooking facilities and fridge/freezer. Also a bbq outside on terrace. Very quiet location. Landlady really good, friendly and obliging. Very close to Hotel Croatia where you can use their pool and go for massages. Need heavier curtains! We kept waking up at the craxk of dawn as curtains were usless at blocking light. For those who find stairs and steep walks difficult, you mayn't like this place. We found it a little tiring at first but by end of week felt much fitter! It's worth the climb for the amazing view from your terrace. |
