Villa Stanovic

The resort of Cavtat is delightful and the sea views from the balcony were superb.

The decor was somewhat dated and in need of an upgrade. Also we asked for a double bed and were given 2 singles pushed together

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable, good location close to town center, good views, lovely gardens and patio, good value.

Only the weather, the balcony and the view. The air conditioning worked.The way the owner and the tourist office rep helped us sort out the issues when we raised them.

Size, layout and furnishing of room. There were supposedly three beds (one sofa) but it really was hardly big enough for two of us. The shower was not a full shower, but mixer taps mounted half way up the wall with a shower head attached. There was only one tap and cold water at the sink.This room is really only suitable for back packers and those prepared for a 600m hill walk into town. Very overpriced.

The proximity of airport and the small beach town vibe rather than floundering through big city of nearby Dubrovnik. Great view from terrace.

At top of hill a short distance from town, the uphill climb was not appreciated by friends, especially if you have to do it more than once a day,

Great location, amazing view from the terrace, probably the best in town. proximity to the old town and most beaches.

The room was not cleaned as it was stated in the brochures. But you could find the vacuum cleaner downstairs and do the job. You should be prepared for a very basic room with bed that makes strange sounds and water overflowing from the shower cabin to the floor in the bathroom. But the beautiful view out of the room makes you totally forget all those little things.

It was quietly around. Location is convenient. Transfert to Airport Dubrovnik is 10 min and 10 euro.

Bathroom is extremely poor with comfort: small and ancient, there are no crochets for towels.

It was clean, quiet and has parking but more importantly has a wonderful view from the balcony that a great many other places of any price category would have difficulty matching.

It is quite close to the airport, but there seems to be an arrangement in place that there are no night flights. The flights in fact land by coming in over the town so it's quitte a spectacle if you enjoy that sort of thing!

Friendly owners, good loaction (but a steep uphill climb from cavtat centre), parking, airconditioning. Large communal kitchen/dinning room.

Would benefit from a safe and fridge in the room (although there is a fridge in the communal kitchen).

Fantastic location up in mountains with amazing view of the coast. Only 5 min walk to Cavtat town and to beaches. Apartment itself was lovely, with cooking facilities and fridge/freezer. Also a bbq outside on terrace. Very quiet location. Landlady really good, friendly and obliging. Very close to Hotel Croatia where you can use their pool and go for massages.

Need heavier curtains! We kept waking up at the craxk of dawn as curtains were usless at blocking light. For those who find stairs and steep walks difficult, you mayn't like this place. We found it a little tiring at first but by end of week felt much fitter! It's worth the climb for the amazing view from your terrace.

A convenient place to stay for one night when I arrived late at Dubrovnik airport.

The website should mention the steep walk down to the town.

The best thing about this villa is the veiw it is beautiful. The room is basic but very clean good value for money.

The thing i did not like about this villa it is at the top of a very steep hill and there is no footpath for approx. half the walk from the town it is quite dangerous.
