Villa Town Gate

Le camere sono luminose, lo spazio giusto e con buona finestra e stendini per appendere gli abiti di spiaggia e asciugamani bagnati.

Non possiede il bidet in bagno. Non essendoci una reception vera e propria, spesso non si vede nessuno nel ingresso a chi poter rivolgersi per fare delle domande o suggerimenti. Forse sarebbe opportuno segnalare un orario giornaliero nel quale gli ospiti possano incontrare un responsabile. Segnalare meglio l'ingresso al Villa Town Gate, perchè ci sono dei cartelli sull'angolo del palazzo, ma la porta d'ingresso è a qualche metro. La si trova, ma si deve indovinare se girare a destra o andare diritto.

The hotel is located right in the centre of the historic venetian old town in a converted villa. The decor is contemporary and the furnishings new and in excellant condition.The service in relation to cleaning and supply of fresh linen exemplary.

The location was excellent and they had helpful information about things to do and see in Hvar.

The apartment was clean and comfortable with great access to the square, quayside and bars/restaurants of Hvar Town. Room cleaned daily, with TV and fridge.

The owners were very helpful with any questions but not around often and only accept payment in cash.

the location was perfect! right in the town. free wireless was a great perk and the guy that works there was pleasant and helpful.

the room could use a little updating and beds are uncomfortable...but you don't spend very much time in your room when you are in Hvar.

Very convenient location; comfortable and quiet although in very centre. Had space for older children who loved the location.

Expensive, especially considering how basic the fascilities. There was a small very basic living room with a fridge but not even a kettle for making a hot drink. This would have made a big difference.

Villa Town Gate is in a great location.

Fantastic location, just off main town square & old harbour

We liked visiting the city of Hvar and thought it was fun to have a room right on one of the quaint side streets. Our rooms window looked out at the picturesque remains of Leporini Palace. On the street below was a restaurant with the same or similar name. Our room was on a busy alley with people coming and going all day and all night. In our room we could here people until late in the evening enjoying themselves in the restaurant below and you are very close to the town square which is also filled with people throughout the evening. If you must have quiet, the street rooms are not for you, but there are others in the back of the building which are probably quieter. We felt all the street noise and the sounds of people having a good time -- just fun -- even at night.

There is no manager on site, and we did not know this so when we got there we had not called ahead to identify a specific time of arrival. We waited a long time for someone to show up and then it was the cleaning lady who saw us waiting and called the manager to come and check us in -- we did not have cell phones with us and we unfamiliar with how to call people in Croatia anyhow -- so it was a bit awkward.

Excellent location which is small but perfect for Hvar. The staff were very helpful and we greatly appreciated our luggage being taken up the stairs as it would have been impossible for us.

A bit shabby and could do with brightening up.

Locaton was ideal.

Walk up 3 narrow flights fo stairs with heavy luggage.

Nice clean rooms in good location.
