Villa Vanilla    

The owners were very welcoming and helpful, giving tips on places to visit and places to eat. Must see, (hear) Sea Organ and Sun Salutation. Would recommend a car and sat nav, made things alot easier. Take a trip to Krka National Park stunning scenery, we also went to Vodice nice marina. Will be returning to Villa Vanilla in the near future. Zadar is a beautiful city.

nearly impossible to find. It is not a 4 star as advertised. The bathroom was sub standard, the toilet did not flush properly, and the shower was to small to use. The worst!! One of the family dogs woke us up at 6 A.M. and continued barking for over an hour. This is a case of you get what you pay for. After this experience I doubt we will be using booking .com again

Amazingly responsive and courteous hosts. Apartments are large, clean, comfortable with nice furniture and a big TV.

A bit far away from the city center

The staff was excellent, the rooms were very nice, and there is a pool.

Nice place not too far from shopping centre but fair walk to city, beds and pillows not so comfy, but nice place to relax and unwind by pool.

Villa Vanilla is great! We were staying in the seperate villa with own pool and ofcourse this is very nice and comfortable. The Pool was cleaned on daily basis and nothing was to much for the lovely family who takes good care of all their guests. The apartment is very clean and the patio at the pool is a lovely place to sit during the day and especially the warm summer evenings. friendly staff nice appartment!

We have stayed just one night at the end of july because we wanted to break our long trip to the south and VillaVanilla was a perfect choice. This was the first positive impression because usually at this period of the year apartmen owners prefer minimum of stay of 5-7 nights. We have two kids and they just loved our private pool which was warm enough to stay in for hours. They had their own room just as we had our bedroom. The kitchen and the livingroom was also well equiped and comfortable. Parking was ideal since guests can park right under the window of the kitchen. We are highly recomend vv for everyone especially families with kids. The hotel location is the only thing which is not perfect. It is 3 kms from downtown Zadar which is a 25 minutes walk, or 5 minutes by car. We used a taxi at the evening which was 7 eur, definitely worth to have a beer or two during a nice dinner!

Regret the fact that we'd made a reservation this villa for one day only, but we were touring Croatia and had to go further south. The private pool and well equipped patio were very inviting and made use of the time we were there. We didn't notice the other guests which were staying at the same location and had to share another pool. We did walk into town (45 min), but the walk wasn't very inviting. It's better to take a taxi (owners will call one for you) or go there by car and keep fingers crossed to find a parking space.

Bedrooms were a bit small, but on the other hand there was plenty of space for the suitcases in the living room and one isn't in Zadar to spend too much time in the bedroom...

Nice staff, perfect location, swiming pool, clear and nice rooms. The apartment was spacious.

The bed was too hard for our taste. Small repairs needed in appartment.

The owner, Vesna, was enthusiastic and helpful with local knowledge. Eager to make our stay a pleasant one. The pool was a bonus. Plenty of parking at the rear of the property.

Could be better signposted, being in a residential street. Maintenance on a range of issues caused initial concern, but Vesna did go out of her way to rectify immediately - a good sign. Perhaps some more cooking implements/glasses would add an extra edge.

Very nice hotel with lovely hosts. Clean and very lovely surroundings. No disturbing noices at all.

Hard bed you could feel the metal if lying on the side but not all of us had that problem.

We chose Villa Vanilla for the first 2 nights of our 10 day trip. Vesna was fantastic on arrival giving the lo down on all local amenities and even organising dinner for us at 10.30pm at night when we arrived. We went island hopping for the next few days and decided to return to Villa Vanilla for our last night in Zadar. Again Vesna exceeded our expectations by allowing us to loiter by the pool all day, look after our luggage and organise transport back to the airport. Highly recommend this Villa.

Host was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Lack of signage made finding the villa difficult but apparently this is being rectified.

Hotel was too far away from the city centre. And a bit hard to find as it is located in a residential area. Nothing to do around by walk. So highly recommend a car.

Die Küchenutnesilien hätten etwas besser sein dürfen.

Le calme de la villa, le personnel très convivial et disponible, et l'équipement: appartement spacieux, piscine très agréable.

La localisation, un peu trop a l'écart de la vieille ville

Både jag och mina ungdomar trivdes kanon i vår lyxiga lägenhet på Villa Vanilla där vi hade egen pool och veranda. Supertrevlig personal som hjälpte till med att vi bad dem om. Vi återkommer gärna till både Zadar och Villa Vanilla!
