Personal war sehr sehr nett und Hilfsbereit! Haben direkt eine Stadtkarte bekommen, Restaurantempfehlungen etc. Koffer wurde bis hoch auf's Zimmer getragen (hatten einige Stufen zu erklimmen). Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Das Bett war perfekt, super Matratze, man schläft wie auf Wolken. Sehr süße Einrichtung, Bad sehr schön gemacht, alles sehr sauber, sogar mit SOS Alarm in der Dusche! Klein aber fein. Ideal um 1-3 Nächte zu bleiben. War echt alles super, vielen Dank!!! Der Ausblick war nicht so der Knaller, direkt auf Häuserwände, aber das fanden wir eher lustig. Wir waren nicht da um einen tollen Ausblick zu haben sondern um eine Nacht zu bleiben damit wir früh zum Flughafen Split kommen. |

Bei Ankunft sehr nette Begrüßung. Alles Reibungslos. Zimmer frisch renoviert und für Übernachtung bei Städtereisen vollkommen ausreichend. Nähe zur Stadt sehr vorteilhaft. Zimmer waren etwas hellhörig. Hat uns aber nicht weiter gestört. |

Es liegt sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig, in der näheren Umgebung gibt es gute Restaurants. Zimmer sind zweckmäßig ausgestattet. Personal war sehr freundlich und äußerst hilfsbereit. |

Location was excellent, very modern facillities with wifi. Close to everything along the Riva, shopping, restaurants, even laundry across the street. Joanne, the owner, was extremely pleasant and helpful with everything. Very quiet. |

The proximity to the old town made it an ideal location for exploring Split We had great difficulty arranging access to the room when we arrived. The booking information did not indicate that we needed to contact the hotel before we arrived to arrange a key to our room, however we tried ringing the hotel earlier in the day we were to arrive and could only get through to an answering machine but could not leave a message as the memory was full. We tried ringing the alternative mobile phone number give on the answering machine message but the number was wrong! We then had to ring booking.com to get someone to contact the hotel and were assured that someone would meet us at the hotel at 7:00 pm. We arrived at the hotel at 7:00 pm but no-one was there to meet us so we were left standing in a cold, dark alleyway. |

The hotel is less than five minutes walk to the Old Town and Diocletian's Palace. Great access to the waterfront, bus station, cafes, markets made it an ideal place to see Split. |

The accommodation hotel was ideal and comfortable for our stay with convenient services close at hand. This was a second period of residence for us and we were not disappointed. As per our previous comment re the access to the room via stairs but this was understandable.. |

We liked the location close to the old town. We drove into Split in a hire car and were having trouble locating the villa despite the fact we had a gps in the car. We tried phoning the owner 3 times and received no return call. A taxi driver programmed the closest hotel into the gps for us and we were able to locate the villa with the help of a very kind local resident. When we arrived at the front door of the villa it was locked so we phoned the number on the door and a young man told us to wait - he would be there in 5 minutes which he was. The room was small and very basic which was ok because we don't spend a lot of time in our hotel rooms but I have to say that it was a depressing colour (superfluous I know but I have to mention it). |

The Villa Varos was ideally located to the City of Split and was in close proximity to the Restaurants; Laundrette, convenience store and train bus and cruise services. As would be the case with most budget accommodation only hotels the flights of stairs to the accommodation arease of the Hotel made luggage handling difficult. |

Conveniently located for the centre of Split and for local restaurants. 10 minute walk to bus station and ferry port. Despite phoning ahead and advising of a late arrival, reception was closed and we had to call a mobile to be admitted. A double comfort room had been reserved but we were given a standard room. The price was reduced when pointed out. |

Location and cleanliness; good shower also. it was very bland and boring - i would not have wanted to spend more than one night there. Also they had left windows open all day and there was no mosquito net on the bed so I was bitten several times. |
