Villa Visnjan Residence  

The apartment is situated in the hills and thus away from the somewhat touristy coast of Istria. The residence lies on the top of the sleepy village of Visjnan with cobblestones and narrow streets and overlooks the hills and the sea in the distance. Location is just perfect, few minutes from the motorway, very quiet, great atmosphere, friendly owner and nice swimming pool. The apartment was better than expected: excellent kitchen, bathroom and bedding which are cleaned on a regular basis. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable about the region and the town. The town itself boasts little facilities, but has a cash machine, a cafe, two small supermarkets, a bakery and a butcher'S. The nearby Borgonja osteria is simply fantastic with rustic local food, wines and friendly owners. If you're looking for a non-touristy peace and quiet experience and a good base to discover Istria's hinterland and vinyards, this is your place to go.

The residence can be rather difficult to find and driving larger type cars in the narrow streets can be tricky.

Quite difficult to find!

Swimming pool was nice. Also easy access to highway, Rovinj, and a bit of the inner Isrian penisula as well. And although we weren't happy with the room we were given, I did very much appreciate the owners willingness to let us out of the contract and even help us try to find another place, even though it was too late for that unless we wanted to pay a lot more for another place. With a better room, this place would be a great deal. As it was, I'd say it was so so.

We were given a room on the ground floor that was not very well lit, didn't have air-conditioning, and looked out on the hallway. With only a small window in the bathroom to provide a cross ventilation, along with a fan, this room was not real comfortable...especially since there was also a dog barking throughout the night out the bathroom window and we could hear every move the people above us made, which was alot.

The village is truly picturesque and everything you need is there: two fine restaurants, two grocers and an ATM. The (sea)view is impressive and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I reccomend this place for a short stay to check out the many sites in the vicinity and to relax by the pool in the afternoon.

The apartement is sparsely equiped (no cooking pan, no bread knife, a tiny stove and the fridge is too small to stock up for four people). The interior is a bit wobbly; the stairs aren't save for toddlers, some of the handles and tabs came of and the sanitair is outdated.

Beautiful building, tastefully decorated and with everything you need for self-catering. Great pool and garden area for barbequing or just lazing around. The owner made us feel very welcome, explained where to buy food, eat out, suggested places to visit, filled us in on local history and even arranged late supper for us in a local restauant on the first night. His personal attention impressed our teenage sons and really made our stay.

Sehr schwierige Anfahrt!!! Die Entfernung Novigrad-Visnjan war mit 6 km an- gegeben, tatsächlich waren es aber 16 km !!!!!

Le village a très peu d intérêt. Proximité des appartements et acoustique. Peu de luminosité dans les appartements

kaum Parkmöglichkeiten, nur zweckmäßige Einrichtung (in diesem Zimmer zumindest)

La tranquilidad. Lugar de reposo con las pretensiones necesarias para pasar un moneto placido. La relación con el personal estupenda.

La mesa de recepción de los clientes (a la puerta de la entrada y bajo nuestra ventana en planta baja) trastocaba nuestra intimidad un poco.

El poble és encantador,amb tots els serveis per unes vacances rurals i en família.Allunyat de les zones turístiques però molt ben comunicat.L'apartament amb tot el necessari.Piscina fantàstica.Es pot aparcar al costat del campanar (a50 m de la Villa) sense cost.

M'ha agradat tot.

Tenen una "gran" piscina. L'estudi (3) és còmode, espaios I ben equipat. Lloc tancat per a guardar el cotxe. Molta tranquilitat. La situació és estratègicament molt bona, doncs és al costat de la nova autopista que et permet visitar tota la península d'Istria des d'aquí en desplaçaments curts. No us perdeu els pintorescos pobles de Motovun a 17kms, Groznjnan a 15kms, etc., etc., I fins I tot l'extrem més al sur, Pula és a només mig hora de cotxe per autopista.

Costa de trobar, doncs no t´esperes que sigui al casc antic del poble que és molt petit. No hi ha cap indicació a la carretera I el carrer no sortia al meu gps. Una mica de soroll durant el dia en un edifici que hi estaven treballant al davant.

El alojamiento nos gustó mucho, se trata de un pequeño pueblo, pero ideal para pasar una o dos noches.

Nos costó mucho localizarlo, ya que no estaba señalizado y en el pueblo no lo conocían, aunque está muy bien ubicado.

Tranquillità, aspetto curato, terrazza ottima per cena e colazione con vista del paesaggio e pure del mare, e soprattutto la gentilezza del proprietario, che parla bene l'italiano, e ci ha dato preziose indicazioni sulle zone circostanti e le strade. :)

Il proprietario è molto disponibile e accogliente, sa proprio fare bene il suo mestiere!

Es una casa de piedra preciosa. El dueño muy simpático y el pueblo una preciosidad. Se come fenomenal.

Molt ben situar a la península d'Istria Situat a 2 km de l'autopista. Hi ha piscina.

Det var idyllisk. Beliggenhed på toppen af et bjerg, hvorfra vi kunne se hav og skov. Der var dejlig roligt. Og ikke mindst til ungerne - en lækker pool.

Excelente base para uma visita à costa istriana (dista apenas 10 km. Da movimentada Porec), Villa Visnjan é uma propriedade com aspecto centenário, restaurada de forma simples mas acolhedora. Os proprietários são de uma simpatia extrema e falam inglês fluente. A piscina e o pátio exterior são muito aprazíveis, enquanto os apartamentos se apresentam equipados com tudo quanto é necessário. A aldeia de Visnjan, sendo pequena e com uma parte muito antiga, tem um bom restaurante típico (Borgonja), um pequeno mercado e até uma óptima padaria/pastelaria. Recomendável a todos os títulos!!

Não seria possível encontrar Villa Visnjan sem a ajuda simpática dos habitantes locais. Algumas placas indicativas poderiam ser úteis.

Centraal gelegen aan de snelweg om Istrie te bezoeken. Mooi groot zwembad en dichtbij winkels en restaurants in centrum van het dorpje.

Emplacement excellent (9 Km de Porec) la tranquillité d'un village typique et agréable avec ses vignerons sympathiques (dégustations et achats possibles) Très belle piscine et bons équipements

Excellent accueil du proprietaire chaleureux et attentionné. Appartement amménagé avec goût (renovation dans l'ancien) et le plus incontestable après une journée de ballade dans la région est la piscine pour se rafraichir.

הבעלים מאוד נחמד דובר אנגלית רהוטה ומעוניין לעזור בכל רגע מקום קסום עם נוף נפלא אמנם בתוך כפר קטן מאוד אבל כל מה שצריך יש והכפר קרוב לאיזור פולה פיראן רוביני המקסימה ופורץ !! מומלץ בחום!!!
