Villa Zrina  

A really friendly and comfortable hotel, only 5 min walk from the terminus of the airport bus. 2 min walk to trams to the city centre and railway station. You can also walk to the city centre in about 20 min. Very good value.

Unfortunately they do not provide breakfast but you can get coffee from reception, and there is a local restaurant that does breakfast 50 meters away.

The rooms have separate entrances, directly from the yard.

The reception is open only 8-24 which means if you come to the city with morning flight.bus/train you have no place to leave your luggage :(

Staff was really helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean, with bathroom, wireless connection, hair-dryer and some furnitures on top of beds. Center of Zagreb is 15/20 minutes of walking distance; we didn't use public transport, but there was tram railway next to Villa Zrina. It took 5 minutes to go to the center by Car (there are parkings for the car on the street next to Villa Zrina). 5 minutes walking distance there is GreenGold Club (one of most famous disco in Zagreb)

No breakfast, 15/20 minutes of walking distance from center, but you pay what you have.

Location, close to main bus station and to the location I intended to visit. Nice and comfortable room for short stay, friendly staff.

There were minor malfunctions in the bathroom.

Our front room was next to a busy street with road noise. Odd smell in room and bathroom needed some repair. Windows were dirty.

Place is located near main bus station, and there is a tram #6 that connected this place with old city that can be very interesting for all travelers.

I booked this hotel specifically because of its proximity to the bus station. It's within walking distance to the bus station, and I needed to get to the bus station very early in the morning to catch a bus to Plitvice Lakes. When I arrived at the hotel the woman at the front desk told me that I will be staying at another hotel. She didn't ask me if I wanted to stay at another hotel; she told me. I asked her why, and she said that one of the current occupants had extended his stay at the hotel so I would have to go somewhere else. I refused to accept that as an answer. She made a telephone call and arranged for someone else to go to the other hotel instead. She then asked me to wait a few minutes so that she could prepare the room. This was FOUR hours after check-in time, mind you. After spending 13 hours on a train, I did not want to wait around while she cleaned a room for me. So I left. I can't comment on what the rooms were like or anything like that. I can just comment on how poorly this hotel is managed. If a hotel accepts my reservation, I expect a room to be clean and ready for me at the agreed upon check-in time. That's too easy. But this hotel couldn't handle that. Make a reservation at your own risk.

Problems with bathroom equipment.

Was cheap and close to bus station as we were coming in late evening. Very quiet

Smallest room I have ever stayed in and bed was tiny and very uncomfortable . Could not sleep

First day our 2 persons room was not ready, had to wait 2 hours. Then they put us in a 1 persons room. At check out they made a mistake and left out 1 night in the bill. Seems like a correct thing when you sleep in a little bed with 2 persons. Then after they send a bill for a full night in a 2 persons room. They never have answerd my mail about this issue. Very very bad when you threat your guest like this

Internet not working while I was there and I was on the street side - the place is right near a very busy street - so a lot of loud street noise made it a bit hard to sleep.

Very nice and cosy and charming room. Easy to find. Excellent location if you need a bus station at hand. Tram stop very close. 3 stops to railway station.

If it's hot outside, the smell in the room is a bit humid. But aircondition helps a lot.

Close to the main bus station (Glavni Kolod) in Zagreb.

We were given an attic room as we did a late check-in and had winding stair case making it difficult to carry our luggage up.
