A great location and genuinely friendly helpful staff. The breakfast was decent and the coffee was very good. very little hot water - only allowed for 5 minute shower at the most. no sound proofing between rooms but it was pretty quiet at night anyways. |

The hotel was family owned and run. We found them delightful and felt we were home from home. The breakfasts were great and the dinner was a delicious- home style cuisine. The rooms were very clean although not spacious (not to be expected in an old town). Highly reccomend it. |

The warm welcome and the original design of the room. Also, it was very well placed for access to the Od Town and the Port. |

The good location, close to the historical city center. The people were very kind but services and facilities are limited. If you have car, parking it's not easy. To take luggage to the hotel and upstairs to the room it's not easy too. |

the staff was really friendly and can speak without any problem english or german. The hotel is really in the heart of Split, in a small, lively and typical street. The staff take in count the critics of the website (like breakfast time) The walls are really thin. |

Very symphatic family Hotel. Beautifully renovated, in the middle of old town buildings, just 100 m from Riva. Very good choice. Excellent service. Due to location in the middle of old town buildings, there is no view from windows, but anyhow, sea is only 50 m from the hotel. |

Location was centraol, rooms clean, staff excellent. The walls are very thin so you can hear next door, there is only enough hot water for one person to shower - not so good |

The people who run the villa were incredibly friendly and helpful and enjoyable. If I ever find myself in Split again, I would definitely try to stay at Villa Matejuska. The second night I had a fabulous little terrace. I loved the place. |

I like to go to the Island and watch TV sometime but unfortunately the TV was not function well! I like the smile of the Hotel Staff especially at the front countrer lady and at the Breakfast place lady as well. Nothing in particular but if the rent caof the room can be lower the price than it is a good value for money to consider.. |

Location right on edge of Old Town, very helpful staff, fridge crockery cutlery and small stove. Be aware that this is an apartment not hotel so bed not made etc. |
