The people who run the villa were incredibly friendly and helpful and enjoyable. If I ever find myself in Split again, I would definitely try to stay at Villa Matejuska. The second night I had a fabulous little terrace. I loved the place. |

Location right on edge of Old Town, very helpful staff, fridge crockery cutlery and small stove. Be aware that this is an apartment not hotel so bed not made etc. |

Location was central to attractions. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning at the hotel own restaurant was fantastic. Had trouble accessing the wireless internet, though I was only there for a night, which was not a big issue. |

The hotel is in an excellent position. Very close to the center, in a calm street. The room was very nice and confortable, though in communication via a closed door with the next room (so you might hear your neighbours). The hotel staff is very kind and helpfull. For the price, the room was not properly cleaned during the stay (at the arrival it was very good). The breakfast is served only from 8h30 and it is limited and not competitive with nicer bar in the city center (5 min walk). |

Excellent location. I was lucky to find free parking nearby so it was a huge benefit to staying at this location. Facilities exceeded my expectations. The owner/manager was very helpful. |

The hotel was conveniently situated, was newly refurbished and very comfortable. The hotel staff where very helpful and gave us good advice. The room was newly furnished and was of a high standard.We did not use the bistro so cannot comment. Our room was opposite reception, over the bistro. Early evening it could be noisy, but late evening it was quiet. |

Staff were extreamly helpful and very accomodating in letting us leave our luggage all day (after check out) as we had a late night flight. We were travelling without a car and the location was excellent, very close to the town, sea and ferries. Good breakfast. |

The owner personally taxied us to and from the Split airport. The owners daughter speaks fluent english and happy to help. In fact all the staff were very friendly. The breakfast included was wonderful in the morning with Italian style coffee. |
