Staff were excellent on check in and check out as well as answering my enquiries along the way Room was good, bed and sheets very comfortable and was a short walk to the old town area. Breakfast very expensive but in keeping with prices for this kind of hotel world wide. Gym doesn't open until 9 on saturday and 10 on sunday which is very incovenient.

The hotel is bad isolated; the windows are 30 years old. So the noise of the citytrafic comes into the room, day and night. The shower only gave cold water. The day. I was there, a conference to support investing in Croatia was held. I think the american owners of this hotel should be the first to invest in the infrastucture of the hotel, instead of just taking the profit and sell the complex after a couple of years of profit taking.

Comfortable, high-end hotel within 10-15 minutes walking distance from Old Town and very close to New Town. Good workout facility and pool. Bar prices were high and drinks were fair.

Indeed I like only price, becasue for 5* stars hotes it was really cheap I didnt like this hotel, room was really old, uggently they need to make renovation, bath room so small, and I had to wait long and call 2 times slippers. And I staid many times in Westin hotels in many countries and this was most terrible.

The pool is free for all guests. Pay extra for the breaky when you book your room, if it is an option, as it is worth it. The bar fridge wouldn't open. We got the room on a cheap deal so the view was not so good, but it was well worth the money.

We had to cancel the 2nd night's stay for one of our colleagues and despite the fact that we tried to do it 2 days before arrival, we were still charged for the whole booking - not impressed by this at all! Then on arrival, despite having booked 3 identical rooms at the same price, I (the only woman in the group) was allocated the room on lower floors whereas my two male colleagues were given rooms on the upper, executive floors. No explanation was given but I definitely felt they were deemed more important than me as I was a woman!! I was going to say something on checking out, as I was the one paying for the rooms, but it was 6 am and I decided against it. It will stay with me forever though..

We had a problem with the booking not showing up and there was absolutely no problem in sorting it out in a friendly manner and for the same price as per our Written Booking Confirmation. The room was very comfortable and the view amazing. Well done Westin Zagreb! We weren't notified on arrival of a major powercut and maybe this could have been done with a Welcome Letter.

The gym was well equipped and the sauna was nice. The hotel lost power for most of the day - leaving us without airconditioning and having to walk up to our room (which for us was only on the 7th floor). The steam room was out of order but seemed like it would have been nice to use. Parts of the hotel seemed a bit run down. I don't really know what qualifies it as a 5-star. Had I not seen that on the listing, I wouldn't have guessed it was.

Very pleasant and professional staff, great gym. There was only cable internet connection in our room so we had to go all the time to the lobby to connect wirelessly. Coffee machine was in the room but coffee was only provided the first day. Then you had to purchase it.

The wellness zone is awesome, the room at the 15th floor is not only confortable but has also a crazy view on the city The services' prices (car park, breakfast, dinner) in the hotel are not in line with the global costs of the city

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel, and what I liked the most was the room view I had of the city (I stayed in the 15th floor) and also the location, as it's very close to the city center. The room was very comfortable as well, and the "Heavenly Bed" to die for! The room temperature was a bit too hot and couldn't be regulated from the room (central heating). The swimming pool water was quite cold.

Location is good, and nice walk to the main square... The hotel needs few improvements to be made to reach 5*. It's unacceptable to have dirty windows that can not close correctly, and smelly curtains that can not close properly. Floor carpets are not as clean as I would expect in 5* hotel, as well as the bed sheets are very used with wholes on the corners! Cleaning ladies were excellent!!
