X-Rooms Mljet  

The lady who runs the apartments was lovely. She greeted me with a glass of beer - what more do you want?

Broken shower and dirty room.

I found the host was not very nice. My travel partner was sick and she refused to go me another room , even though I offered to pay and rooms where not occupied at the time . In the end I had to move to another apartment in another hotel .

The owner was so wonderful - kind, helpful, friendly - and totally understanding that we speak no Croatian! We needed to stay an extra night which proved to be fine. The rooms were clean, nicely designed, with a full kitchen and comfortable beds. After only 2 days we were sad to say goodbye.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with the bathroom drains in a few of the places we stayed in Croatia so the en-suites were pretty smelly. Perfectly clean and well presented, but an unfortunate smell. Not a criticism of X-rooms but something to be aware of.

Very friendly, Owner lived on site so could answer quetions when required. Room cleaned throughout the week, sheets changed and towels washed throughout the week.

Price is too high for the quality of the rooms. The images in booking.com don't match reality, at all!

the owner did not speak any language that I did but she was lovely. Served me homemade liquer and fruit on the terrace - and once brought me more fruit to my room.

The room with "garden view" faces a concrete wall. - no AC or even air ventilor. Extremely hot in summer time. - Extremely noisy due to bad water plomberie. - No soap, no TV... A room like this one would be fair for 30 euros maximum, it was 60 euros (in cash of course...). But obviously the purpose of the owners is to make maximum profit with minimum investements on the rooms. Don't go there. La chambre avec vue donne sur un triste mur en bêton. - pas d'air conditionné, ni de ventilateur. - bruits continuels dûs à des problèmes de plomberie. - pas de savon... évidemment pas de TV. Une chambre comme cele-ci ne devrait pas exceder le prix de 30 euros la nuit (payée 60 cash bien entendu...). N'y allez pas : arnaque !!!

The hostess is very friendly and kind. Though she doesn't speak English she understands your needs. Our room was with a big balcony and wonderful view over the sea and the yachts. The sea was so close and so clear we could see fish in the water right from the balcony.

-Credit cards are not accepted while no info where provided at the time of booking. Literally, there are only 1 atm in the town, which was without cash until 5 pm. .. We supposed to "hunt" for cash for half of the day and come to the hotel and pay them in cash when it's become available -No Internet access -In the bathroom the bulb over the sink does not have proper insulation and quite dangerous Very poor menu in Bourbon restoraunt - unreasonably expensive. Staff unpleasant

The room was very clean and comfortable - there is a balcony which looks out onto the Polace bay, with the restaurants on the street below. The view is utterly stunning - you feel like you've stepped into paradise! it's lovely to read on the balcony surrounded by so much natural beauty. Polace is just one quiet street - the hotel is towards the end of it and seems to be run by a family. They were very accomodating of us wanting to alter our travel plans at the last minute. The room came with a little kitchen and shower - you could quite easily stay there for a week and mix cooking at home with sampling the local cuisine (the local restaurants served superb food - wonderful grilled fish!). Location is very convenient - you get off the ferry and walk 5 minutes down the street and you're at the hotel!

a little expensive for one night's stay but we booked at the last minute which probably has something to do with it.

Location, bue to the sea and very friendly staff.

Il était noté qu'il y avait une terrasse et en fait il s'agit d'un accès collectif, un palier intermédiaire entre 2 escaliers.

- La ducha perdia agua y inundaba el bano. - El espejo estaba apoyado sobre el toallero (dejadez) - Enchufes desmontados y cables de iluminacion colgando - Paredes decoradas con mosquitos estampados - Camas incomodas - Sin perchas - Sin aire acondicionado - No nos dieron factura y tuvimos que pagar por adelantado dos dias para que no nos retuvieran los pasaportes.

Emplacement parfait sur le petit port. Magnifique vue sur la baie, sur les bateaux. Cuisine pour préparer ses repas et diner sur le balcon face à la mer, très agréable. La propriétaire ne parle pas l'anglais, mais on arrive à se faire comprendre. Bon accueil, avec un capuccino offert par la propriétaire.

la posizione sul mare

caro per quello che offre. pulizia scarsa. aria condizionata tipo "pinguina" che costringe con la finestra aperta proprio sopra la testata del letto. La vista più che sul mare...era sull'orto-discarica del vicino.

Excelente ubicación a escasos metros del mar, personal muy amable, tuvieron detalles de hospitalidad con nosotros que nos hicieron sentir como en casa.

La vue sur la baie de Polace, la proximité du parc national de Mljet, les gentilles attentions de la propriétaire qui nous a fait gouté sa liqueur

La literie du canapé lit est à changer, pas de rideaux aux fenêtres donc on a été reveillés au son du coq à 5h30. Le personnel parle très mal anglais, difficile donc de communiquer. Beaucoup de finitions à réaliser et l'équipement de la cuisine est insusffisant surtout pour un appartement à 130 € la nuit ! Je ne recommande pas de dormir sur Polace, ce ne sont que des appartements et des restaurants très chers.

Très bien placé dans le parc naturel de Mljet, la mer au pied de l'appartement, de petites criques alentours, et la possibilité de louer voitures/scooters à côté. Solution idéale pour découvrir Mljet.

Teníamos una reserva, pero cuando llegamos nos dijeron que no tenian habitaciones libres. Esto nos pasó 2 veces en Croacia. Nos pusieron en contacto con otro alojamiento que estaba un poco mas lejos del centro, y no tenia aire acondicionado, con lo que nos salió un poco mas económico 350Kn (45-50euros) en vez de 450kn(75 euros). Al final la estancia fue muy buena, pero pudo no haberlo sido. We had a reservation, but when we arrived we were told they had no vacancies. This happened to us two times in Croatia. Nos podrían haber avisado antes de llegar de que no tenían habitación. They could have warned before arriving that they had no room.

Nice location near the habor of Mljet. The appartment was big, clean with ac. The owner was nice, welcomed us with some local drink and gave us information about ferries. I would recommand this place
