A fabulous room with separate bed, sitting and bath areas with windows three sides and a large balcony.Stylish boutique size hotel in a pleasant garden setting. Good breakfast selection but hot food not kept hot and not replaced quickly. |

The staff were helpful. and information about ferries etc was readily available at the reception desk. The plumbing worked ok. The room was a bit tiny and if I had weighed a couple of kilos more I would not have fitted into the shower cubicle. coffe at breakfast could have been fresher and better. |

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel Zagreb, and this is due to the courtesness and high level of professionalism of the staff. I would particularly like to single out Silvia, who works at the reception. She went out of her way to help me with regards to my travel arrangments, and this was beyond her call of duty. I am very graetful for all her help and her friendly manner. I have travelled a lot and stayed at numerous hotels were the staff were cold, unhelpful and impersonal. What a breath of fresh air to encounter staff who are "human" and true professionals. Many thanks to Silvia you are a gem. I would like to point out that due to the plumbing system there was quite a bit of noise coming from the wc when the loo was flushed in the adjoining rooms. |

The hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere. It's a lovely, recently restored, building on a pedestrian "promenade". It's quiet and comfortable and the location is good - near to the beach area of Dubrovnik with all its restaurants, near to the marina and a 10 min bus ride from the old town (bus stop around corner from hotel). The breakfast could have been better - coffee and fruit juice watered-down and odd-tasting. |

The only redeeming features are its covenient location and free parking. Staff, in particular the female receptionist were rude and unhelpful. The chamber staff were noisy early in the morning. Room was noisy mainly due to open corridors leading to stairwell above reception area. Breakfast was terrible. Extremely poor choice ( E.G. no fresh pastries) and what there was was badly prepared (coffee was disgusting). Despite being included in the price we had breakfast out the next day, it was that bad. |

The hotel is located into a nice part of the city - pedestrian street, with small teraces and restaurants, close to the beach - but the area is quiet. We came there by motorcycle and it was possible to safetly park it in the yard. The hotel is very nice, renovated. The personel was very nice and helpful. We had a situation - we book a room with park view but at the time we check in, this type of room was not available anymore. For this we receive a discount. The bed was very comfortable, we rest very well. We served the breakfast on the terace, a nice way to start your day The bathroom is very small |

Beautiful peaceful location. Nice walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The front desk staff provided a service above and beyond the norm when she located the taxi I had left my camera in and within 10 minutes it was delivered back to me at the hotel. I will forever be grateful for her help! Recommend improving the overall quality of the breakfast offerings. |

Decent rooms and convenient for beach or bus to Dubrovnik. Restautant/bar not run by hotel - so you could not use room number to pay. |

Nice hotel, but too expensive for what it offers. But this seems to be a general rule in Croatia. |

I had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel which was located in a very nice area close to the beach and a short bus journey from the old town. I found the staff to be very helpful and particularly liked the restaurant. Maybe though there could have been more choices for breakfast in the morning. Overall a good experience. |

A really attractive, well located hotel in large garden grounds, close to Lapad beach. Very helpful reception staff and good quality room. The restaurant is operated by another company and breakfast was disappointing with stale bread, watered-down juice and dirty cups. |

Good location in Lapad area of Dubrovnik, short walk to beach and waterfront, plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and close to old town bus stop. Hotel is a lovely old mansion, rooms were modern, slightly small but still very comfortable. The staff were helpful and there is a good restaurant on site. Expensive like all hotels in Dubrovnik |

Room and interior was tidy. Air-conditioning functioned well. Hotel has a nice and spacious garden. Breakfast coffee was lousy though breakfast was quite good otherwise. Hotel is located at the street dedicated for tourists. |

I found my stay at Hotel Zagreb very pleasant. I reserved a twin room, which was quite spatious, clean and relatively modern. I must highlight i found the hotel extremely clean which is obviously good sign. The majority of staff, including the front desk were quite helpful. Internet is available in the Lobby. There's a bus to the old town just round the corner. Takes all of 4/5 minutes. You can walk to the old city in about 20/25 mins also. A few points to note - The hotel did not have an elevator. It's not really a big deal for a 'young' guy like me, yet the more elderly traveller may want to request a room on the ground\lower floor(s). Similarly the first night we stayed there we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food as fine, yet you would not be inclined to write home about it! The service of a particular waiter was quite abrupt. Mr "Of course"!!!! Apart from that i would recommend this hotel. |

We liked the surroundings, the beautiful garden of the hotel and the kindeness of personnel. Breakfast is very monotonous, the same items each morning. |

Hotel Zagreb is conveniently located near a bus stop from which Bus 6 will take visitors directly to the historic center of Dubrovnik. The hotel is within easy walk of the seaside. Finally, there is a good restaurant on the premises. Decor of hotel is rather sterile, but Hotel Zagreb was completely adequate. |
