Offering lots of activities for kids and adults, the Zaton Holiday Resort is located 2 miles from ancient Nin and 9 miles from Zadar. It has its own beach and 3 pools. Spread over the large grounds with pine trees, all apartments have a fully equipped kitchen, a patio and a satellite TV. Traditional Croatian cuisine is served in the resort's restaurants with shaded terraces. There is also a grocery store in the Zaton Resort. You can play tennis, mini golf, go diving, surfing or horseback riding or take part in activity programs for all ages. A large playground is also available for kids. Famous national parks like Plitvice Lakes, Kornati Islands, Krka Waterfalls, Paklenica and North Velebit are all situated in the county of Zadar. It is ideal for families with children. The sea is great just like the facilities. Apartments were not so clean. The flats are too close and noise.

Independant bungalows, closely located to sea shore but still beneficiating from a four star Hotel structures (shops, excursions, swimming pool, restaurants). Sea is really adapted to children as they keep their footing till about 60 m into the sea. However, the Croatian cost is only made of rocky beaches - almost no sand. Bungalows were very clean - very nice hotel staff. Proposed excursions were sincerely worth it and well organized. 2 power outages during our 2 weeks stay. Lasted about 4h to 5h each and affected the food stored in the fridge. On the other end, it also stopped the music and allowed us to enjoy the stars in the calmness of the night.

Good on site facilities The staff advised us that transport links to Petrcane (only 4km journey) where the festival we were attending was based were good and cheap. We emailed them when choosing our accomodation before we booked. We found the opposite. There were very rarely taxi's on the resort. If there were taxi's onsite they charged 70 kunas (£8) for a 4km journey! Which I found shocking. If there weren't any onsite then the Zaton holiday resort would call for one but it would come from Zadar and they charge you for the zadar to zaton trip on top of the normal zaton to petrcane trip which ended up costing over 100 kunas (£12+). There are buses that go from Zaton to Petrcane and Zadar but they go from Zaton town centre which is about 15-20 minutes walk from the holiday resort in the blazing sun. buses go every hour or two and are a lot cheaper although we found that there was never a bus running when we needed one.

the place is big and look nice, but most of the activities are charged most of the activities cost money, includin the tennis. As much as I remember, at the description it was written that tennis will be free. Also there were no animation for teenagers on Saterday morning. The boys were upset and asked to leave as soon as possible there was no air condition at the apartment. there was no free first aid

We had a great experience at Zaton Holiday Resort. The rooms and facilities were very basic but clean and the location right on the beach is unbeatable. It is an excellent resort for families, Although, I wouldn't stay there without kids. It is a great value for the money.

Good value, Nice cheap bed by the seaside, entertainment for all ages, nice range of shops and facilites (be aware most things cost extra, beach loungers etc) Clean room and surroundings and pleasant and safe environment. Great place for families on a budget. Slighty hard to find with poor signs, poor bedding, blanket and very small sheet which didn't tuck in and fully cover the double bed. Swimming pool closed at 18.00 so we didnt get to have more than a quick dip. Would still visit again for a budget visit to the croatian coast.

grand complexe au bord de mer , nous avons eu la change de sejourner hors saison et d'avoir les appartement 4*, ils sont superbes et tres bien equipés , et peu de monde . Il y a sur place un supermache, des boutiques et des restaurants

leuke en comfortabele appartementen, goede faciliteiten. Zeer geschikt voor koppels met kinderen. het geheel is volkomen zielloos. Men hoeft niet naar Kroatie te gaan om hier te verblijven.

A személyzet nagyon kedves. A hely szép, rendezett. Kisgyerekes családoknak ideális. Az üdülő területén belül drágák az üzletek. Néhány helyi nyaraló csoport éjjel elég hangos, nincsenek tekintettel a kisgyermekes családokra.

I ragazzi della reception sono molto gentili e disponibili. L'appartamento, pur essendo piccolo, è molto carino e completo. La piscina è fantastica e l'ambiente è molto pulito. Sono offerti tanti tipi di attività sportive. La pulizia quotidiana delle camere è scarsa (si deve chiedere alla reception di cambiare asciugamani e lenzuola). L'animazione potrebbe migliorare!

Superbra ställe för barnfamiljer! Ca 30 km fr flygplatsen. Stort område med mycket aktiviteter för barnen. Stranden var perfekt. Långgrunt. Ren miljö. All personal var duktiga på engelska. Kommer definitivt att åka tillbaka, och ev bo på campingen nästa gång. Man var tvungen att betala för solstolar samt parasoll. Handdukarna på rummet byttes 1 gång/V.

Kompleks basenowy z biczami wodnymi, piaszczysta plaża z bardzo łagodnym wejściem do wody (płytko po kolana 150-200m od brzegu), aqua aerobic w morzu, duży wybór restauracji I barów (super włoskie jedzenie w konoba Bepe, chociaż personel mało uprzejmy, szczególnie Pele), fajny drink hotelowy Zaton (brandy z rumem I sokiem pomarańczowym), apartamenty dobrze wyposażone z dużymi tarasami (nasz miał numer m18 - polecamy).
