We booked the room with the kitchen and TV but got nothing of that. They said that the kitchen is just for their private use. We were with small baby and we need it but no compromise. The breakfast was the same for all six days, shameful.Heating and clean were poor too. Never again.
Very good location: close to the tram stop and to the metro station- line 4. Very nice and helpful stuff, good breakfasts. Breakfast at the common table is very nice experience. There is very good hungarian restaurant (Kisvigado) close to the Abel Pension.
This was my third stay on the house. I returned because I like the place, the people and the location close to public transport.
Excellent location, a quite, calm street close to public transportation (few minutes from a big transportation hub, with metro, tram, buses... ). This is a family villa built in 1910's year, and lots of wooden furniture, staircases, etc was preserved/renovated. E.g. the main hall felt like you would be in a 19th century movie :) So +1 for the style. Stuff was kind and nice. Price is surprisingly good for the value.
the bed creaked. (but otherwise it was comfortable)
- very kind staff / velmi příjemný personál - interesting building / zajímavá budova - quiet place / tiché místo
Wonderful staff, house, garden and surrounding. Very nice place, if ypu want to spend some peaceful time. no television in the room.
A little bit to hard bed, but it was ok, anyhow.
Nice and friendly staffs. A good location for a family and quiet moment. Clean room. What a nice time to be there.
Fairly good location. The 100-year old building and the furniture give a hint of surrealism to the place. It reminded me more a Scottish bed-and-breakfast than a Hungarian guest house. Very nice staff. Decent wifi. Breakfast all right.
The suffocating smell coming from the carpet, the creaky bed, the worn-out mattress, the feather-and-dust-mites-stuffed pillow, the miserable windows letting in the noise of the nearby road and the first light of the dawn added up to a terrible sleep. Unfortunately, these could not be balanced even by the kind members of the staff. This left me with mixed feelings about the place. In my opinion this accommodation is not for those guests who intend to sleep or at all spend some time in their rooms. Nice place otherwise.
Beautiful architecture and a friendly host who told me about the history of the building which I appreciated a lot. It´s exactly this kind of experience that makes a visit special. He was very polite and professional when he helped us find a taxi.
I`m not sure I liked that the hostess/female owner in the house ate breakfast at the guests` table. Well, I know, it`s her table. Anyway. Perhaps a smile or a polite question would have helped..
Breakfast Charm Staff
I loved the kind welcome at 0.30 midnigth. Loved the room, the silence, nice fresh air, extra cleanliness. Next morning the delicious breakfast, the kind polish couple we had a nice talk during breakfast. Thank you Dóra and Géza, was a perfect welcome.
location is good, street is quiet
beds extremely uncomfortable, sitting arrangement for breakfast unusual and inconvenient (all guests sitting around one table), breakfast offer very modest
Position is good for walking acces to centre, but you have to climbe a coline in both ways. Everything was clean and bed was confortable. Personal was very helpfull and wifi signal is excelent
No tv in room, poor soundproof insulation, breackfast is poor and repetitive. If you came late at breackfast you have to wait others to finish and leave.
Good breakfast, clean room, kind and friendly staff (English speaking), affordable price
Internet problem, small parking gate (only for small cars)
I like all staffs. They are so kind and friendly.
It is hard to find Hotel Abel Pesion because there are no any sign or mark in front of the door.
warm personal, clean rooms
40 min walking to the city center
+ Stuff was always very helpfull and kind + Location (10 minutes to the city centre by public transportation) + Wi-Fi connection available in the room + Tidy and clean hotel
- It was not possible to pay by credit card (machine was broken). - Breakfast time was just from 7.30 to 9.00. We even missed it once because we didn't want to wake up so early...
