Staff was very friendly, quiet location,

Difficult to find parking place on the street, small choice of restaurants around hotel

Very good personnel in this hotel, the hotel located quite far from city center, but near is tram station.

Good breakfast, nice and clean room, warm blankets. Staff was present a lot, so easy to ask if needed anything.

You had to have a key to go out, and the locks were all a bit tricky to open and close.

Coziness, quietness, relaxed stuff, spacious room, good heating, cleanliness...

There is no such thing. :)

I really must recommend this pension. We had a fantastic stay there. It is a beautiful house with a lot of athmosphere, the personnel and the owner is very nice and helpful, and the location is quiet and convenient, although not in the very centre of the city. The rooms are cosy and breakfast serving is done at a common large table, just like in an old-fashioned dining-room. When returning to Budapest we will stay in this pension again, for sure!

Breakfast is the same every day and this can be a problem for those who are staying a longer period of time.

I wouldn't exactly call it unlike - because it's normal for old houses, but shower was a bit old, shower head was sprinkling water everywhere. Other than this - no complaints. Very nice people!

Nice, clean and peaceful place with lovely garden and helpful staff. Close to bus and tram station in nice neighbourhood. Don't have any complaints really so we will be back for sure.

Absolutely super value for money. Cosy 100-year old villa renovated to panzio. Peaceful location in green area in Buda side, anyway walking distance to center. Room did not have TV or fridge but I did not lack them either. Friendly staff let me keep my souvenir salamis in their fridge) Breakfast was good and gave good start for the days. I will sure return to Abel Penzio and its friendly and cosy atmosphere.

The Hotel Abel Pension is very close to main tram lines, we could go to Buda Castle or to either side of the Danube with little trouble and very few transfers. The breakfasts were nourishing allowing us to get a quick start the days activities. The rear garden was peaceful, the staff helpful. WiFi worked in our room each day.

The air conditioning could have been cooler for our comfort during the heat wave (34C). Water pressure upstairs shower was a little weak.

The perfect hotel for short stay on the way as we did for two day during our trip to Croatia. The localization is perfect for coming by car - close to the motorway but in a beautiful surroundings. The hotel is in a nice old villa and the staff is very kind and helpful. And the breakfast in such a nice room was splendid.

There is no tv in the room and to get to the centre you have to take a tram or a bus. But it is not a serious obstacle.

The air-conditioner was not working as intended at first but that was fixed

We booked a room to accommodate 3 people and the third bed was just a mattress on the floor. Basic breakfast

The staff was incomparable in service, friendliness, politeness and helpfulness. The location is a quiet respite form the city but highly accessible to transportation. Accommodations were exceptionally clean, comfortable and yet with old world class. The breakfast repast and setting offered a completely good start to the day- tasty and diverse with an oportunity for good conversation with fellow travelers. It would be own personal choice if I were to return and my recommendation to anyone considering going to Budapest.

Nagyon kényes vagyok a sötétítésre és az nincs kielégítően megoldva.

Ruime kamer, goed bed,alle dagen schone handdoeken. Schoon pension,mooi gebouw. Personeel aardig,een aantal nerveus aandoend....weet niet waarom. De voordeur altijd op slot gaf mij een goed gevoel. De combinatie van ligging en budgetvriendelijkheid was heel geslaagd

Het enige wat we misten was een waterkoker op de kamer voor thee en koffie. Dit moest (buiten het ontbijt) beneden gehaald en betaald worden.....weliswaar weinig,120 Ft per kopje maar we hadden liever iets meer betaald voor de kamer inclusief gebruik van thee en koffie. Ik heb dit nog niet eerder meegemaakt

Ottimo soggiorno, la pensione consiste in una antica casa su 2 piani, molto accogliente, staff molto amichevole e disponibile,colazione ottima, servita in soggiorno su di un grande tavolo apparecchiato, tutti quanti gli ospiti vi si siedono e fanno conoscenza. Zona tranquilla e poco distante dal centro, il tram passa a pochi metri.

La mancanza di prodotti da bagno, infatti c'era solo una piccola saponetta. Inoltre la stanza dei nostri amici aveva il letto cigolante.

Trivsamt hotell med trevlig personal. Lugnt och stilla läge i lummigt område. Möjliget till givande samtal med övriga gäster tack vare gemensamt frukostbord. Nära till buss och spårvagnshållplats.

Excellent hôtel avec un certain cachet rétro ! Bien situé et au calme !
