Apartments Opera  

Right in the center of Budapest. Choice of bars and restaurants just around the corner. The whole city on walking distance.

The TV's remote had flat batteries. ;-)

Very central location, close to the Szecheny Spa and the city centre, very good price, eqipped kitchen and bathroom with shower and even washing machine. The manager could not come in time to give us the keys so he send someone.

The building and ambiance is stunningly beautiful.

Free wifi would have made it easier for us. But it was not advertised so it was not a surprise that it was not there.

Good location and quiet, secure apartment, leaving me free to come and go as I needed.

Could do with a few more items of cutlery, cups etc, as I did have 3 people visit me there for a short while.

Location is the best one can get, just near the Opera, 5 min.walk from basilica of St.Stephan, 2 minutes from metro. Apartment was much bigger that we expected, quite cold at first (it was October) but easy to adjust the heat. There were 2 of us but apartment is great for 4 people or even more. And the atmosphere of the whole house is great, very Imperial Budapest. Edgar, the host, was great, very friendly and helpful, speaks great English. We would definitely stay there again!

Some little things that didn't bother us that much: little problems regulating the heat of the water, you need some practice, the only trash can was in the kitchen and no in the bathroom nor in wc, quite cold at first but heater was good so this problem was sold.

Located in the downtown (district 6) area, and close to pretty much everything. This is a very good budget alternative for people who visits budapest. The apartment has everything you could possibly need. Offers airport pickup with an informative and helpful staff for a good price as well. The apartment is just a few meters from the opera house with bars, restuarants, 24/7 supermarket, atm and nearest metrostation. Highly recommended

We were 3 guys and only got one set of keys, which sometimes was a problem if we would split up somewhere. Sometimes a little too much of cold water in the shower. Overall not much negative to say.

Living in the heart of the city, among natives..in one of these huge, old houses..just marvelous. On the top of that, the organisation of the service was extremely nice and client-friendly.

Our room was confortable, big and very quiet. Mr Edgar, the one responsable for the apartments, was very nice to us, specially because we arrived 2h late. The room had everything we needed and it was in the city center with all the restaurants and public transports very close. I really recommend it!

The room doesn't have negative points, just the bathroom that had a bad smell

This is my second stay and this time we were offered Hojas Utca 13-15. The flat was even better, cosy and cute at an excellent location, right accross the Opera Building; the facilities were ample and Edgar was helpful as ever. The Apartments Opera will again be my first choice, on my next visits to Budapest.

Considering the weather conditions, the apartment could have been pre-heated; it took us about two days to bring the place to an acceptable warmth.
