Room facilities were very basic and in need of refurbishment. Bed was very uncomfotable. No shelf space in bathroom. We made reservation in hotel restaurant only to find it was actually closed when we went down! |

The building is very well located in the city center, the breakfasts were good; not a 3 stars hotel! everyting is old and not properly maintained, the room and the bathroom was really dirty, the courtains, the sheets, the towels were gray instead of white, the shower was broken... and it was expensive comparing with other hotels in Hungary. you can not find easily a empty parking lot; |

It was right in the centre of the town and I had a good view from my hotel window I could see the grand church and into the main square. The breakfasts were good and there was a good range There was a concert in the main sqaure one night that was on until 1pm and I was not notfied by the staff on checking in or during the day that the concert was on although I had been to the reception several times that day. The room also didn't have air conditioning or a mosquito net. So you either had to suffer the heat or the mosquitos |

I liked the location - on the central old city street. Also the building itself was old and nice. The stuff wasn't polite. Plus the hotel was dirty, you could smell some strange things in the rooms. The air conditioning was not working ok - it was smelly as well. The bathroom was dirty, you could see a lot of hair on the floor and also in the bed. The swimming-pool was terribly dirty - couldn't make myself go into it. |

Leisure facilities were very good and breakfast buffet was fine. The absence of air conditioning in the classic room. I found the room to be very hot, hence the fair rating for comfort. I would have booked a superior room if I had known this. |

Good staff, good services, good breakfast It was a wedding party on the Hotel on Saturday night, until 5 o'clock in the morning, it was impossible to sleep; the parking is expensive, there are no free parking places around the Hotel; the Internet access is expensive |

The Best Western Hotel Kálvin in the historic city centre of Debrecen near the Reformed Protestant Cathedral is also very close to the most important offices and institutions in Debrecen. |
