Heviz is a quaint small town imbued with a serene wellness ambiance, offering visitors the perfect opportunity to unwind and immerse themselves in relaxation. One can leisurely stroll through the nearby park, soaking in the natural beauty, before indulging in a soothing dip in the rejuvenating thermal pools. While my time was primarily spent within the confines of the hotel, venturing out for a leisurely walk provided a refreshing addition to my wellness weekend.

The Hévízi Tó is a unique thermal lake, with a beautiful old "swimming house. If you are somewhere around Balaton lake it is worth a day tour, but some more days are great for perfect relaxation.

Relatively quiet town (I visited in mid-January) with lots of green areas. From all the languages I speak (EN, DE, SI, HR, FR, RU) in the end Russian and German were the most usefull when interacting with the shopkeepers and waiters.
The lake / spa is really quite unique- there are not many places where you can freely swim around a lake in the middle of winter (-4C outside T). Fair warning though- the thermal water has a quite pungent scent 🙂.

It is a great place, lake is a fantastic experience.
It is a great place, lake is a fantastic experience. Even during winter the temperature was 22-23 degree, although it was disappointing that there is no real wellness/spa around the lake. To have that experience you have to stay in a hotel. You have to pay for the parking everywhere.
I visited the hotel with my daughter during our trip to Hungary and we were charmed by both the town and the hotel. We enjoyed a spacious room, large and comfortable beds, a terrace with wonderful sunsets and incredibly delicious food. The spa has everything you need for relaxing, and the outdoor aquatonic (adventure) pool was our favorite, especially in the evening when the multi-colored lights in the water and the steam make it a magical and romantic place.
The best expierence was the meeting with waiter Zoltan Horvath in the restaiurant. He have changed all our impression about staying in the hotel, about Heviz and about all Hungary. Very kind young men who really cares about visitors from other countries! Nice talk, kind service, professional recomendations and sincere communication. That's it what we really needed staying first time in Hungary.
Thank you Mr. Horvath!
You can comfortably visit the thermal spa Heviz or the lake balaton by car from this place. We lived in an apartment on the ground floor, the villa with garden has got multiple floors and is on a slope. The apartment has has got three rooms, kitchen and two bathrooms. Parking is within a fenced area right next to the apartment. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this accommodation.
New and very clean apartment. Located closeby the Heviz lake and the main promenade of Heviz. The apartment had everything we needed included extras (washing machines, kitchenette, dish washer). The apartment is part of the hotel, so very easily you access the spa thermal swimming pools and all saunas and internets. Perfect stay and we look forward to our next stay :)
The view is quite unusually to the valy outside of Heviz but it is still close to the center. A few minutes walking distance.
The hosts Wiki and Atila are great and make everything for your comfort. The shared kitchen is well equipped and coffe and water for free made another impression on me. It is a B&B on 4* hotel level ;-)
This apartment was one of the best we visited around lake Balaton. Very kind host, the room equipped with everything you need, comfortable bed, nice room with AC. The area is quite, yet comfortable distance to walk to a nice restaurant and the city center. We will definitely return next time if we are in Hévíz.
Excellent hotel. Very clean all the way. Lot of additional content next to the regular hotel room. Wellness facility is very nice and also very clean. Breakfast and dinner were great. The hotel is in a very nice location, really close to the thermal lake. We are very satisfied with what we got for the weekend.
Big and spacious apartment and very friendly host. She provided very usefull information for Hévíz stay with map.
Villa Lux is in a quite area but within the walking distance from the town center and the lake.
Perfect for families with children.
Free swimming wheels for Hévíz Lake.
Free parking.
Exceeded our expectations. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both really tasty with a wide range of food. The spa is good. The thermal lake is a short 10 minutes walk away, but one can get the same water in the hotel's spa.
Really enjoyed the sauna and the pools. The staff were cheerful and friendly.
Best option in Heviz, this is my 3rd time in this Hotel.
Fantastic facilities.
Healthy food and drinks.
Doctors and SPA specialists are very good.
Especially the person at the SPA front desk, she helped us a lot, big thanks to her.
Outside pool is like a cherry on a cake 👍
We really enjoyed the stay, especially the wellness center in the hotel. The location of the hotel was in an excellent part of the town, super close to the Hevizi lake. The breakfast was also good, everything was fresh and there was variety.
Our room was of decent size and we liked the balcony feature. The Hotel was clean and it had several nice pools, with two of them being thermal although we preferred the lake which was a 15-minute walk away.
We loved the hotel by itself, the location and the staff as well. Highly recommend! Very quiet area, but if you need some life, you can have it just a few minutes walk. The lake is about 10 mins far.
Amazing location, just 200 meters away from the lake. Pet friendly hotel, but you have to pay for your dog about 13€ per night. Very good breakfast and dinner. Not bad SPA with a few saunas.
The staff was super nice and helpful. Our room and the whole hotel were clean. The spa section is great there are more pools with different water temperatures and a nice sauna section.
