You can enjoy the buffet breakfast in the beautiful dining room of the restaurant and it is excellent, varied and plentiful, both in sweet and salty, but if you arrive at times of overcrowding bread and other foods end up immediately and you have to wait long for refueling. Definitely expensive: 15 Euros!!! The room cost is very high compared to the standard of Budapest (I know some structures more decentralized that for the same price, or even much less, offer, for example, the baths). In short: you pay dearly (but gladly!) the luxury, the marble, the ceramics, the quality of breakfast, the comfort.
Luxury "old fashion" hotel with marble, ceramic and carpet everywhere. Great location, just few steps from the synagogue and the Astoria metro station is just right outside the entrance. You get to St. Stephen or Vaci utca in 10 minutes by walk. Room size, cleaning and accessories fit the expected standard (it is a 4-star luxury!), even if on arrival in the room we perceived an unpleasant smell like vomit, probably due to the carpet, however, we "got used" after while. Suitable for special occasions , if you want to experience the comfort and formality of living "by gentlemen" for a while, perhaps more convenient for mature couples or wealthy families and less for young couples (although we have encountered several)
