Carat Boutique Hotel

The hotel was clean, breakfast was very filling and enjoyable. The staff spoke good English and was overall very helpful. They exchanged money for us and also ordered a cab. They allowed us to check out late but I found the charge of 50 euro for that a bit expensive. The location is excellent in terms of closeness to everything. Sometimes the halls were a bit smoky but I think that's the case generaly in Europe, more people smoke than in North America. We didn't use any other facilities other than breakfast.

Excellent location, extensive breakfast and friendly staff. Room small but very well appointed and clean . Would cetainly recommend as good value for money

Only negative which was size of wardrobe , which was miniscule only enough room for a couple of hangers not enough space !!!

Excellent location right at the centre of a wonderful city, close to Deak Ferenc. Excellent buffet breakfast, and nice little bar.

Only that the bedroom 205 was on the small side and the wardrobe did not take hangers.

Carat Boutique Hotel is at a perfect location. At the centre and next to everything. The stuff was helpful enough. The relation price/service was at a very good level. Very good breakfast, although the second time, they were not refilling, but that was an exception, because the other three days, they were refilling everything. Free wifi is fast enough

When they say "gym" they mean just 3 exercise equipments. The room was cleaned at a decent level, although they didn't change our sheets even we were there for 4 nights. They have to do something with the windows. We couldn't be protected from the sun in the morning and we had to wake up early, but that was not a major issue.

The location of the hotel was superb and our rooms were clean and spacious. We also enjoyed the breakfast very much, there were enough of everything and the breakfast room was also spacious, tidy and bright.

The hotel location in the city was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. All employees were always ready to help in any problem we could have. The room was also very nice. The only problem with the hotel is that in the summer the sun rises in Budapest at 4:30 AM and the room curtains are not opaque at all. If you have problems with sleeping with a lot of light take this in account.

Small closets -- the rod for clothes is put in front-to-back. It should be side-to-side to hold more clothes.

The Carat Boutique Hotel offers quality for a fair price. The personal is service minded and the hotel is located in a nice small street quite close to that river we all like to stroll along. Next to the hotel you will find a very pleasant bar.
