The hotel is very comfortable, clean and luxurious, this is a true "4 **** ", the forthcoming employees with customers and very professional. The reception is always at your service breakfasts are very generous, always served with a smile of the staff. The gym equipment with high- tech, with Jacuzzi and sauna are available at all hours of the day. The hotel is located 100 meters from the city center, ideal for shopping and visit the monuments of the city. Unique setting, very affordable rate. ........Exceptional !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The use of the gym with jacuzzi and sauna, stops at 22:00 .................... lol

Good location. The room was nice and warm. Clean modern bathroom. It would be good if the two bedside lights worked independently of each other.

rooms extremly small even for a boutique-hotel(my laptop screen is bigger than the "flat TV" that is provided in the room), poor english for reception staff, wrong reservation policy: the hotel charge us the entire price 5(five) days prior to our arrival.

Location, friendly service, clean, good breakfast, free Wi-Fi The fact that our double room adjoined another room via a through door. This meant we could hear other guests in next room. Small wardrobe.

The location is more than perfect; it's 50m away from the central underground station with access to all Metro lines and a Tram station as well, 20m away from a large supermarket, in a very safe area (even at night). You're within walking distance to lots of attractions; St. Stephen's Church, Opera & House of Terror Museum on Andrassy Avenue and the National Museum to name a few. The staff are extremely helpful in all aspects. They'll gladly help with anything from booking spa or airport transfer tickets to providing directions. The standard room was perfect for a single person but would be a little bit on the small side if more people occupy it. Basic toilet amenities are provided and the room has a safe. They have rooms with small balconies facing the side street the hotel is on and others facing a peaceful inner yard. Smoking is prohibited in all areas within the hotel. Smokers can request rooms with balconies. The food ordered from the room service was delicious and reasonably priced. They don't have a lobby however they have a bar/cafe next to the reception. The location is the killer thing here. I just loved it. The breakfast is extremely basic. Not what you would expect from a four stars hotel.

Very comfortable bed with choice of two sizes of pillow; hotel is cheap for the level of comfort, jacuzzi downstairs. At breakfast there's only filter coffee and there's no proper orange juice. My room smelt very strongly of air freshener. It was hard to find out how to switch off the fan and the very loud fan in the bathroom went on for ages. No bath, only shower. No chair at the desk, only a stool - though they let me bring a chair up from the café for myself, but only because the café was closed that day. Most crucially, the internet cuts out from time to time, so if you need reliable wifi, don't choose this hotel. Going to the jacuzzi was a bit weird as well, they give you the key, but then it's just dark in there and you have to take the cover off the jacuzzi and figure our for yourself how to work it - idem for the exercise machines. But ultimately that was more amusing than annoying.

The location is perfect. Door to door from airport is approx. 45 mins for a first time Budapest tourist. Take bus 200e, then connect to Metro m3 and you are already at the corner street of the hotel. Make sure you exchange small notes at airport. You need small change to buy metro tickets, either at the machine or when you board the bus. Atm machine at airport only hands out 10000 or 20000 huf which doesn't accept at the ticket machine. All staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and helpful. They might not be as cheerful to you as what you have normally experienced in other countries, but they are all polite and one just needs to understand their culture. Breakfast is great and the fitness/sauna facilities are always available because nobody uses them. I highly recommend this hotel to all travellers. Though not a big 5 star hotel, but I rather stay at this smaller modern establishment with new fittings than an old shabby hotel with long gone glory. Can't think of anything to complain but more of an improvement. It would be a real plus if the check in time can be a bit more flexible. We arrived the hotel at 1:15 and were told the check in time is 2pm and all rooms are full so we wandered around for an hour.

Location is good. The restaurant staff barely speak English; you have to pay extra for any other type of coffee than filter and no matter what you do you can not have a fresh orange juice. Hotel’s bar is closed on Sundays when you also can not get the room service. If you are by car be careful with the parking nearby hotel (the one recommended by the staff): I have got my gps and watch stolen.

The hotel location is very good and very central to all main activities. Breakfast was included in our room rate and we were pleased with the self service offering. The dining room manager was friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom where quite small for a double in 4 Star hotel. The air conditioning in the room was weak and this was particularly noticeable at night.

Very comfortable location 50m from 3-line node metro station. All main sightseeing spots in 10-30 minutes by walk. Big rooms, nice stuff. Breakfast is too poor for 4 stars hotel. Woden windows sound isolation is not excellent, you could hear too much noise in the night.

The hotel staff were friendly, and Peter Hircsu at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, warm and comfortable beds. The location was excellent and the breakfast was nice:) I had requested a room in quiet area but however, the room we got was facing the street which was too loud at night and distracted my parents but other than that, everything else was fine.

I had a flight that arrived in the early hours of the morning. I was still greeted with a smile and checked in very quickly. The room was simply decorated but very spacious. The bathroom was wonderfully clean. The location of the hotel is fantastic for a short stay in Budapest, it is walking distance to great shopping, restaurants, the basilica and the Danube river. The Pest side is much better to stay on for convenience, as the Buda side is much more residential. . Additionally the Carat hotel is 2 minutes walk from the Deak Ferenc Ter metro which connects all 3 lines in Budapest, so definitely a bonus. Really comfortable hotel with spacy rooms and the most fantastic location. Would recommend to friends.
