Good clean newly kitted room. Helpful friendly staff. Location excellent. Smoking in the bar reception area which can be smelt in the restaurant. Very unpleasant and unhealthy.

Very trendy hotel. Well designed. Service is excellent. The location is absolutely in the center of everything. Everything that matters is within walking distance or a short ride away. The room might be smaller than you think. It would even be tight for two people -- with little room once you put the suitcases on the floor. And the breakfast area gets tight as well, so it's better to have breakfast early and avoid the crowd.

Great location next to Vaci Utca and the large covered Budapest Market Rooms are not large but are adequate and fine providing you do not want to 'live ' in the room etc etc . They are 'boutique' Offered 20% discount on all bar drinks and also a free meal/Lunch as part of the package second time I stayed and would stay again My kettle had to be replaced so was not checked by room staff before my room made up BUT --Replaced instanttly. I did have to ring down to get a replacement cup and additional coffee and tea bags and milk etc --so not replaced when room made up but replacements arrived in seconds

The staff were friendly and helpful, the location was good and the rooms were lovely if a bit small. The charge of €40 euro for late checkout.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom clean with a good shower (no bath but I didn't miss that). The breakfast includes a nice variety and is open from 6.30 which is essential if you are on business in Hungary due to the early start of the working day there. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The location is superb, just round the corner you have the Danube, shopping street, restaurants, market and the city centre is 15 minutes walk. A taxi rank, bus and tram stop are in the square, practically on the hotel's doorstep. I didn't think the optional tea and coffee making service was worth 10 Euros per day and you have to prompt the staff to top up the supplies. Of course there are gorgeous places to get a coffee nearby but they are full of distractions and not conducive to work!

- Free lan in room - free WLAN in lobby - Queen bed - nice shower cubicle (i don't like bath tubs that much) - Buffet breakfast included in rate - central location (tram stops 2 mins., subway 5 mins. from hotel) - Small room - noise from neighbouring rooms - breakfast buffet often crowded - orange juice of bad quality (got diarrhea)

Very good location. Very center. Near Vaci Street and Market Hall. Car can be parked in front of the hotell on the small streets. Rich brekfast starts at 6.00 in the morning on the weekdays what is sometimes very convenient. Hotel staff helpful. A/C in the room vas not powerfull enough to cool down my mansard room under the roof.

I didn't appreciate a part of the hotel staff - at the main entrance. For instance, situations like trying to dissimulate a client, conducting him to give your credit/debit card data, just for 'insurance', guaranteeing that it isn't for immediate payment, when they are actually trying to debit the entire amount; or locking up a client's room -with his belongings in it (passport included)- without prior notice (to the client), are simply inadmissible. I will not return to this hotel.

On the whole I was rather satisfyied with my stay at Zara'S. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restaurant food passable. Location was perfect. Audio services via tv did not work (Wake up call and music programs). No sound was coming out although the screen showed them as "working" Breakfast is a of poor quality as everything is pre-packed and possible of the cheapest standard version. Too bad, specially that they are situated at a stone throw from the fresh market which harbours excellent food and produces. Irregularity in the service and quantities (I ordered breakfast in my room) The first day I got a perfect tray with everything on it, and plenty of it The second day I had to aks for the teapot, bread, butter, napkins, cuberts, etc. The employee who prepared and brought the tray obviously had no idea how to do this and was not supervised before the tray was sent up. A total contrast to the previous day. One had to ask at the reception for the typical bathroom items one would normally expect to have available in the room. No bathrobe was available either. These items are supposed to be the standard for the "boutique concept" Why??? Savings that will translate into incoheren/incorrectt publicity for the Boutique Hotel? Mistery and total marketing contradiction. Items that were available, such as soap, shampoo and kleenex, etc., need to be checked and recharged every day...as well as the Carpet with Hotel Information and Breakfast orders and Do not disturb signs... I hope this feed back helps the Hotel to improve this situation as I would like to come back in my next trip. I travel often to Budapest.

We (my wife and me) enjoyed our stay in Zara. We only stayed for a night however that was a good one. The food was good in the restaurant. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Real value for money. Not a complain but if the internet was available on wifi that would have been great.
