Broadway Panzió  

For a night stay the location is ok. As a pansion/hostel located in the heart of Budapest, next to Andrassy blvd, shortly renovated and clean it's a good bargain. The breakfast is well-prepared in a nearby bistro. The service is quite strange as they don't spek English. The parking is in the yard.

thought i had pay for accomadation ..this will be on your records.,,had to pay 40euro,,then iwas given,bon-voucher ,for breakfast,,at cafe gold kavezo,,,which said it is not open saterday ..sunday..will be interested ,,re your view about this..hoping the rest of my booking's are better..brian

Good location near to city centre, nice closed parking, staff very friendly, room nicer than expected.

Nobody speaks english

In Budapest its so hard to find someone speaking english and i tought when i found the hotel i will have all informations BUT when i got the hotel i am really surprised what i saw; the receptionist was hardly speaking english probably with 30 words,he had only informations about the hotel,he didnt even know the place of tourist information.He told me there is wifi access in the rooms but there wasnt.And also the breakfast is serving in a different place which is 100m from the hotel but i didnt go there because i didnt want to have more surprises.

Breakfast during new years holiday season was not good because restaurant was closed.. We get cold, partly frosted sandwiches and some milk and snacks.. Staff mostly doesn't speak english and they left us outside (-3 °C), on parking lot to eat snack when we arrived (because it was too early to check-in) and they insisted that we have to leave reception and get outside on freezy december morning. You can hear almost everything from the floor and neighbor room, because walls are very thin. Wifi was unusefull, so don't count on it.

I like clearness, localisation in the city, and brekfast in the cafe.

The staff did not speak english, in the bathroom there were no shampoo and gell for shower. It was difficult to look for the pension from Budapest-Keleti. And the signboard of Brodway-Pansio was not above the entrance exactly. It was near above neighbouring door.

This is a case of not judging a book by its cover. Th e Broadway Panzio was not the most appealing building on the outside and reception is tucked into the back of a dingy courtyard. Once in reception and in the room it was clean, bright, and very comfortable. We have no complaints about our time here and felt that we were secure there and our bikes were also in a secure place. Location was great, around the corner from the opera house and great restaurants.

Excelent value. I found the staff very helpful. The room is clean. The breakfast was good. Excelent location. I do speak hungarian, but the staff speak little English. I expected much less, and got much more. I will return time and time again.

The location was really good, a few minutes from the city center.

The hotel staff didn't speak English at all, the entrance and the courtyard was old and dirty, the room carpet was really dirty, the walls were thin and we could hear each sound from the other rooms.

The room was very nice, bathroom was clean and roomy, included towels and sheets. Better than we expected! Breakfast at a nearby cafe is fine, not great, but easily upgraded. Staff doesn't speak a word of English, but is very handy with Google translate :-)

It's entrance looks poor, therefore our room was a pleasant surprise!

The hotel has no maid service. The reception staff do not speak a word in English which makes communication very difficult, but very attentive and try to help even just speaking in Hungarian. The breakfast is not the hotel but in a restaurant next door. Coffee is weak and without variety.

Staff didn't speak english. Doors were locked during daytime making it hard to enter/leave. Very slow wifi. Room wasn't cleaned most days

Clean spacious room, its quiet in spite of being in the heart of the city, very good location. Secure car parking. The receptionist is very helpful but doesnt speak english very well.

Everything exept the fact that the stuff doesnt speak a word in English

Reseptionists should invest into an English language course

The room was big, confortable, clean and silent. The breakfast was served in a very nice cafè close to the room and it was good. Very good position, the zone is the Broadway of Pest, full of theatres, cafè and restaurants and close to Andrássy út, 3 minute walking from metro Opera. I suggest it.

Location was great. The price is great and the breakfast was very good.

The people at the front desk don't speak English at all really. I stayed in the very touristy center of Budapest and did expect front desk people to speak basic English.

Its a few minutes from metro station near to Opera house; just off the main fashionable shopping street of Budapest

The nightman/caretaker/receptionist does not speak English, and after 5 pm, he retired to his office/bedroom, and if you arrived late for first time, you will find the receptionist desk / room locked, The management should hire someone more suitable;

- Proximité du metro et tram 4 et 6 - gardien 24/24 ce qui permet de laisser la valise le jour du départ - l'effort des gardiens pour vous comprendre (via traduction internet). Ne pas se fier à leur look. - chambre est faite 1 jour sur 2 - pas de bruit des chambres voisines - il semblerait que les chambres aient été rénovées et que l'hotel s'agrandit - supérette au pied de l'hotel - chambre et sde spacieuses + frigo

- Chaleur dans la chambre (au 3ème étage). De plus pas de drap mais 2 petites couettes avec housse pour un grand lit. Je me suis couverte avec la housse. - l'église à coté sonne un coup tous les 1/4 heure et plusieurs coup chaque heures. - les gardiens ne parlent pas anglais - petit déj dans un autre lieu - qualité moyenne du petit déjeuner
