Very friendly and helpful staff, superb location, comfortable, nicely designed. Quiet, fast and stable wi-fi (no need to ask for - everything is prepared for the guest). Service of the reception whenever you ask for a reservation of restaurant or taxi is just wonderful. It is better to come without car - parking in the area of castle is expensive and no special price for hotel guests. Breakfest quality stays a bit behind the level of the hotel.

The staff were always very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious (we had a superior double). Good breakfasts and a fantastic location on Castle Hill which is a calm place to stay after the bustle of Pest. The number 16 bus is a godsend and seems to run every few minutes to and from Pest. No complaints really just that a tiny bit of repair work needs to be done in the bathroom we had (room 205), the wallpaper is starting to come off the edge of the walls near the window recess.

I prefer this hotel when I have to go to Budapest. The location is great although if you have to go to Pest it's a long way. What bothered me is that I asked the reception, 2 times, to call a taxi for me (at 4 am) with a pos so that I can pay by card. I took the taxi in the morning and when I got to the airport, the guy explained in Hungarian that I can not pay by card. Had to go inside, take money out etc.... Quite disappointed but I'm not sure if it was the fault of the hotel or of the taxi company....

My husband and I and another couple stayed for one night only. Fantastic location in an old renovated building in the heart of the Buda old town, well connected to Pest via bus 16. Friendly reception, spotless and modern looking rooms, good size and quiet rooms, good bath (our room had only a hand shower) and underfloor heating in bathroom. On early arrival, the hotel rooms were ready for us, making the whole experience at the hotel very positive. Breakfast just ok, breads clearly not fresh. Rooms were very hot at night and despite having been told that we could change the temperature in the room, this did not work and we had to open the windows to sleep.

I loved this hotel. The room was huge and very confortable. Wifi in the bedrooms, good breakfast, everything very clean, beautiful place... Really, I totally loved it. The only bad thing for me might be the most amazing thing for some guests, which is the location. Since it's on a very high hill, you have to climb like a millions stairs to get there. On my case, that was very painful because I had 2 very heavy luggages and climbing those stairs was not easy at all. Although, it's in the Castle District, which provides us the best view ever of Budapest. Really, really beautiful, but very inconvenient if you plan on walking to reach Pest in a few minutes.

All the people are hospitality and kindness. The location in the Buda casttle is ok, just the price of parking is a bit higher. If you would like to live in the Buda casttle, I strongly recommend to park out of casttle, and walk about 400m to the hotel. In addtion, the bed and television are seperated in different place, upstair is only one bed without anything. Whenever you want to watch TV or go to bathroon, you have to go downstair. Not so convenient.

The staff was extremely helpfull when we arrived at 0700 am and while we have been denied early check in and we had to wait until 1400 to check in , we have been advised that we will be able to enter our room at 08:30 am with no extra charge! The Hotel shows its wine cellar on the web site, at the underground level of the Hotel and when we asked to visit they told us it was closed for guests.

The situation of the hotel alone highly recommends it. It is well appointed, very clean, roomy. The breakfast was plentiful, varied and culturally diverse. Free tea, coffee and sandwiches during the day was a nice touch. We were there to celebrate an anniversary and meet with our son at the end of his 6 month trek across central Asia. Unfortunately my husband became ill but the hotel staff were extremely considerate and helpful. We were given a suite which allowed for a 'sick room'. It may not have been a great anniversary but it could not have been in a nicer spot. Many thanks to the hotel and staff. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return one day. A little difficult to find--the taxi took us to the approxiate area being unable to pin-point the location. This is presumably due to signage restrictions given the heritage setting. The hotel has a shuttle service but our flight included a taxi which may be the only one in Budapest not to know the hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay in buda castle and found the staff very friendly and professional.you could invest in a new toaster as the one you have is too small and not suitable for a hotel.I Will be happy to recommend buda castle to my friends if they are going to budapest in the future. This unique, small 'Fashion' hotel is placed right at the top of Buda Hill, close to the castle. It's modest exterior may meld with it's historical surroundings but does not let you in on the wonderful surprise you will find inside. This twenty-something suite 'Fashion Hotel' is the epitome of European travel delights. Unsurmounted Hospitality, professional but friendly staff, visually appealing, colorful, clean as a whistle, professionally managed, great complimentary breakfast and location, location, location, all lend itself to a wonderful time in Budapest. Being a Hospitality Manager myself and always critical, I can not say enough nice about this unique hotel.

The hotel is luxurious and modern inside but outside it is a beautifully looking old building. The staff are very professional and helpful. The location is excellent, the hotel is in the heart of the old castle district yet it is still quiet.
