I found the hotel easily. This hotel are no visible clasification (even they says 4 stars...), the rooms are with very old furniture and the smell are horrible , hotel is on the main street.Very noise outside and inside.Very poor walls between rooms.Hotel needs to be renovated - bathrooms, furniture, etc. Very thin walls. Breakfast needs to be upgraded. Overpriced |

I chose Gold Hotel Buda, because the price was reasonable, it is close to the center and it has a restaurant. I had several meetings in the hotel and I could eat lunch there also. The menu is great, make sure to try Hungarian cuisine! I also liked the room and the helpful staff. We are coming back in the fall. |

We wished to stay on the Buda side and Gold Hotel Buda was the perfect choice! We could easly walk to the Citadel and to the Buda Castle. On the second day we used the bus to cross the Danube and we were surprised how quickly we arrived. Definitely a perfect location to visit Budapest. I highly recommend. Rooms are neat, buffet breakfast is great and the restaurant is a must to try. |

We were fully satisfied with our accommodation. I especially liked the pretty green garden, where I could sit back and read my book while my family were preparing for the night show. The room was lovely and quiet. A place where I could eat a lot for breakfast :-) . We recommend using the hotel taxi service to avoid the rip off private cabbies! Choose Gold Hotel Buda! |

I booked this hotel, because it is the only centrally located hotel in Budapest, which has its own parking lot. It was convinient to park the car there, instead of leaving it on the street or using a narrow underground garage as in other hotels. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast and the restaurant were perfect and we found our room to be clean and comfortable. |

Superb long weeekend stay with my significant other! Prior to our stay we had read some rave reviews of the service minded staff on Tripadvisor, and now I can say they are actually true! As an openly gay couple we felt very welcome at this hotel (as this was my first trip to Eastern Europe I was not sure what to expect). The entire staff bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant. |

I travel a lot for work and this hotel offers everything that a business traveller needs: comfortable beds (free upgrade to a room with one king-size double bed even though I booked a single room!), unlimited Internet free of charge in my room, private car park and a good hearty breakfast to start you on a long workday. Used the restaurant for a business meeting with local partners. |

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at the reception. Nothing was too much bother. Be aware there are no irons at the hotel and the only way to get clothes pressed is by sending clothes out to a pressing service |

Excellent location, fast high-speed WiFi, comfortable room, air conditioned. Parking too small. There shouldn't be a fee if you park on the hotel's parking. |

Quiet, spacious, clean apartment, ideal for our family (parents with 2 children). With big breakfast and free WiFi excellent value for money. We especially loved the garden view from the balcony. Highly recommended! Our stay was too short! :-) |

For apartments you have to go into nearby building (embarasing) which is, in fact, a block of flats. It is correct to know this from the begining, when you make reservation. Over here the wireless doesn't work. Also the smell its bad. |

Very friendly, helpful staff, clean and tidy hotel and room, reasonably breakfast. The location wasn't brilliant, hotel is located up a rather steep hill although regular buses do travel from pest. The road noise is constant and can be heard even with the windows closed and the shower was very, very small! |

excellent & friendly staff, very helpful in giving us directions of things to do in Budapest I think with the hotel amenities & quality of rooms, it should be rated 3 stars and not 4-stars |

I liked only the location. I found the hotel easily. Breakfast was poor, rooms do not look like on photos at all, for that price I could have stayed in many other hotels, even some boutique hotels, the wifi didn't work, the cleaning lady was too loud and tried few times to enter room with her key without knocking on door. All in all, too expensive price, it should be around 50 eur per night |

Staff was very helpful. Hotel is located on a busy street. Not convenient to historic sites. Hot water did not work at first. Although someone was send to fix it as soon as we reported it, the hot water worked only intermittantly after that. |
