Gold Hotel Buda

The staff is excellent, they are always at your service and ready to provide you with every information needed. The room was very comfortable as well as clean and spacious. The breakfast was good and and satisfactory.

The towels were not soft at all. Also, the walls are not really walls and therefore not sufficiently soundproof.

The hotel was convenient. We found it to be within easy walking distance to the old town though elderly or families with young children would need to use public transport.

We had dinner there on the second night, it wasn't value for money, the coffee (latte) was cold, the food wasn't of the standard we were expecting. The resturant down the road was much better. Breakfast was good. The staff helpful and friendly.

Everything was excellent. Air conditioning and quiteness was specifically appreciable. Cleanliness and interior was very good.

Actually nothing. Maybe though that the walkway to downtown was somewhat too busy and noisy.

The hotel is centraly located close to the tourist sights. The staff is very polite and professional, the rooms are comfortable and nice !!!

We wished to stay on the Buda side and Gold Hotel Buda was the perfect choice! We could easly walk to the Citadel and to the Buda Castle. On the second day we used the bus to cross the Danube and we were surprised how quickly we arrived. Definitely a perfect location to visit Budapest. I highly recommend. Rooms are neat, buffet breakfast is great and the restaurant is a must to try.

I booked this hotel, because it is the only centrally located hotel in Budapest, which has its own parking lot. It was convinient to park the car there, instead of leaving it on the street or using a narrow underground garage as in other hotels. The staff were very helpful, the breakfast and the restaurant were perfect and we found our room to be clean and comfortable.

I travel a lot for work and this hotel offers everything that a business traveller needs: comfortable beds (free upgrade to a room with one king-size double bed even though I booked a single room!), unlimited Internet free of charge in my room, private car park and a good hearty breakfast to start you on a long workday. Used the restaurant for a business meeting with local partners.

Parking too small. There shouldn't be a fee if you park on the hotel's parking.

The desk staff were exceptionally helpful and the room was very comfortable. It was very good value for money.
