the wifi is in the room so signal is strong. A great balcony. Full kitchen with everything you need. 2 toilets. Hot water and heating in rooms always worked. Everything we asked the staff we got. No problems. Quiet nights. Beautiful building with 2 elevators. The only thing is you have to have a chip to enter the building and if you ate a group maybe you should ask 2 of them so you can split and come whenever you want. We asked 2nd key and another chip and no problems. Def will stay there again in my next visit. Btw it is 5 min from metro clubs restaurants pizza gyros buses trams supermarkets and money change. Greatttt stay.
only 1 towel for person per stay. Tv only in living room and 1 bedroom. 2Nd bedroom has no tv. Music channels are not working.
So much space!
Apartment was really good, very big and nice. Good kitchen, great toilet, nice rooms. Located in the center of Budapest. Recomendations!
I liked almost everything. The views and the building are awesome. The situation is really good, nice and young neighborhood. The apartment is very big and has two big terraces with tables and chairs to eat outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and the sitting room as well. The staff is nice.
I didn't like that the couple bed had single sheets and blankets, so the cold come through the gap. The bath is not as equipped as the rest of the flat and looks like old, there is no heating either inside. No blinds to darken the windows .
The apartment in general, it's big and warm, and it had everything that we needed.. Stuff is very friendly and kind!
Loved everything about it and would highly recommend it to travellers
Location can't be beaten; Staff was very helpful.
when it rains (and it was...) the foyer is EXTREMELY slippery and according to staff it is not their responsibility
Location is good. Close to the bus/metro/tram stop. Very good cafes and restaurants around including an Old man pub and world famous New York Cafe. Very comfortable bed. Nice kitchen with all equipment you might need.
Bath - that was really very uncomfortable. Heating - OK, there was a central heating, but from the main door we got permanent cold wind, so in the room was not as worm as needed, and it was in a november. I would avoid going there in a colder period of year.
The building and the rooms are easily accessible with wheelchair, the stuff was very friendly, great location.
If you`re a disabled person, it`ll be a bit difficult to use WC, because there`s no grab bar to transfer from wheelchair. We took apartment for 6 people, probably there are other, better, rooms.
Location, size of the apartment, sleeping variations, equipment.
Free wifi worked poorly
It is located close to all sorts of transportation which is great. It is close to several nice restaurants and pubs. The place is comfortable. This is our second stay. Stuff are there to assist. There are plenty of brochures to help yourself.
We have apartment for 6 people. It is very big, clean and confort. We like that stay.
Some problems with WIFI.
The location is very good, the staff is helpful.
I had a balcony but i could not use it as the window/door was stucked, it was half opened, could not close it. When i asked for another room as in october with a 1 year old baby its not so good to sleep with the open window, the guy said, that its not so cold outside :) the other day they repair it, so i could not open it anymore. Bed is very unconfortable, the lock on my door was stucked, my shower did not workb(they repaired it the next day). For this price it should be more clean and i guess a complet renovation would help. I am not gonna take it again.
Great location and staff. It's not my first time here, and definitely not the last! :)
Excellent location, helpful and friendly staff, safe and nice
round the corner from some really cool places
Large rooms, very clean. Good internet, many TV programms, close to good nightlife,Close to shopping possibilities. 2 toilets.
The room door lock was a bit shaky. There could be more kitchen tools.
Good location and very nice apartment.
I confirmed by email my arrival time (like they asked) and when I arrived they told me that they had moved me to another apartment in the city because of a confusion in the bookings. They should have told me this when they answer back to my email. But they've been very professional about it.
Location was perfect for us, we could reach anywhere quiet comfortably. most of the attractions by walking. Few steps away from metro, supermarket, Main street . lots of good eatery around too bad bad manage
Bad bad management. Our apt. Balcony door handle was broken. We couldn't use the balcony. Even if we open the door we could not close it. They said it could be fixed in 24 hours. Or they would change our apt. None of this happened. After several times asking in six days , we gave up. When we left door was still broken. Probably next guest will face exactly the same attitude. Next problem was when we asked about Some excursions to the reception desk .they suggested private tours with an astronomical price . next day we found much better excursions less than half price they offered. They don't seem to have good knowledge of surroundings. Or customer service abilities are very poor.
We spent one night in Akacfa Holiday Apartments. The location is very good - 10 mins walking distance from city centre. Quite place and helpful staff. Suitable for 4 people, living room with kitchen available as well.
The bed was not that comfortable and if you stay for more than a night you should keep that in mind.
location, safe and secure parking, quiet location even though it was close to everything
very overlooked, lack of privacy, apartment tired and needs a little tlc, very little crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Our studio was spacious and bright with a large balcony. Ignoring the old TV and small selection of programs (we didn't visit for the TV) and the noise that comes from the inner yard sometimes, this is a great place to stay in Budapest. It's close to supermarkets, public transport and has an underground parking if you come by car.
Underground parking is quite expensive. Make sure you book it in advance since there are very few places available in the private part of it.
Convenient location, friendly staff, and "quiet after 23.00" policy.
Confusing address. There are seven Akacfa streets in Budapest, Since it is not specially emphasized on the web page, it is difficult to find the right one.
The apartment is large. Kitchen and bathroom is good. The staff named Kitty is very friendly and helpful. I left the battery charger at the apartment when I checked out but she quickly found it so that I could have it back the next day.
I had a bad experience with Akacfa. On the way to the apartment, the taxi driver (booked by the apartment) told me that she would take me to The Opera Residence, I was surprised because I was not informed about that. The driver called the staff so that I could talk, then the staff told me that they sent me an email that morning about this issue, that they don't have any room for us on that day. What the hell is that? I booked for this apartment 2 months ago and now she told me that! When I came to the Opera Residence , I was shocked because it doesn't look like a 3 star apartment hotel. I was not happy so I made another phone call to the staff of Akacfa, telling her that I want to go back to Akacfa. Then she told me that she would give me an apartment at Akacfa, a larger one than the one that I booked. I really do not understand what actually happened. First she told me that she didn't have the apartment for me, then she gave a bigger one. I have a place for 3 nights finally, it just made me feel tired after a long trip. What is more, the bed sheets do not look really clean. They even used a curtain as a bed sheet.
Location, location, location and the rates are very reasonable.
It wasn't an issue for us but it can be noisy as the complex has a lot of holiday apartments and they are very popular with group weekends away (read Stag parties). There are fines for noise late in the evening which meant there was no late night noise but it can be a little rowdy early on before all the groups head out for drinks.
