Budapest Best Apartments

Great location for some of the main sights in Buda and close to the metro to get to other attractions. Nice, quiet room (courtyard facing) and the owner was friendly & adaptable.

Not really suitable for young children as the stairway to bed was dangerous without a railing/guard. Water in shower was temperamental.

Nice apartments (better than the pictures) in a great location. Comfortable, fully equipped and good prices.

Hot water in the shower did not last long; the road below is always packed with traffic, so if you have a light sleep be sure you book a room that overlooks the courtyard

The location is near to almost all the main attractions in the city. Mr. Turkus was friendly and helpful, and made our stay more pleasant.

The only minus are the stairs to reach the bed: I suggest the owner to cover the steps with a carpet, otherwise it could be slippery and unsafe mainly for older people. Apart of this everything ok!

Entrance to building unusual and can be a bit scary. Through large wooden doors (medieval like) then open courtyard then stairs to apartment. Hard to describe but it added to the adventure

We were greeted on arrival, given an induction and left to it. If we needed any help we were provided with telephone numbers if we needed to contact anyone. Plus the cleaning lady lives next door so if we needed any clean towels she was there.The room we had, Raphaello, was a very big room and it was lovely with big high ceilings and big windows. It was constantly warm which was perfect for the cold temperatures we had outside. The bed was comfortable and it was helpful having a kitchen area with a lot of kitchenware we could cook breakfast with. It is a walk into the centre (over the bridge) but this really worked for us as we love to walk. It is situated right next to the Royal Palace and there are a few places to eat with a supermarket about 5-10 minutes walk up the road. There are also little shops on the way if you just need to pick a few bits up. Would highly recommend staying here!

We paid a little bit more for a city view room but there wasn't much view of the city, just the road outside. I don't know if we paid for a bit of a bigger room which was fantastic. I never saw the other rooms so I don't know what they are like and I think if they had views of the courtyard it would have been even quieter if we stayed in one of those. Either way it does not affect how nice our room was.

This apartment was superb,it was clean and the owner was very friendly and helpful,The location was central and everything was in walking distance.

We loved the location, 5 seconds from Chain Bridge and the Bus station and Funicular. The simplicity and ease of getting into the accommodation and also the apartment was extremely functional and clean. We loved it.

Took me a while to find the light switch for the downstairs foyer and stairwell - its just through the big wooden door on the right (hard to miss really)!!

Efficient, friendly, cooperative staff. Clean, minimalistic apartment close to city centre. Very economical.

Good apartments with an excellent location: most of the Buda attractions are in a 5-10 min walk. Everything was fine, clean room and bathroom, large and comfortable bed. Good baby cot was provided at no additional cost.

We were traveling with our 2,5 years old daughter and we did not know that apartments will have 2 floors with bedroom upstairs. The stair was quite steep and, what was even worse, the upper floor was not safe at all for the baby as there was a fence with large gaps and she could easily fall down. So we had to spend most of the time on the first floor and went up only for a sleep. If someone planning to stay in the apartments with a small child it's better to book a regular room. We did not know this in advance.

Very nice place to stay. In the center near by all city attractions. The building is old one and very beautiful.

There is no reception ( which is good, becouse nobody is controlling you), but was difficult to check in.

Location. Merely 150 meters from "Zero Kms" statue where all Hungarian destinations are measured from. Big room and cosy central heating. Fair price. Our apartment had no washing machine, but the owner's housekeeper who lived in the apartment next to us did a "wash" for £4.50! Pup next door provided reasonable meals, and there are plenty of other eating places nearby. Good internet strength.

It is a crying shame that the structure of the common areas of a once grand building are looking sad these days. The apartment is basic, but I guess if there were more soft furnishings, these would be subject to personal tastes, and also add to the price.

The space, and beutifull building. And the lovely pub under the apartement. Close to the elevator up to Castle Hill, and to Chain Bridge.

We were completly satisfied with our apartment - nice big rooms, very clean, comfortable, perfect loction, wi-fi working without problems. We were surprised, because there is special atmosphere, it is very old building and this apartment have a soul, we will sure arrive there again

Arriving at the apartment was greeted, and provided with information that was useful during my stay. The apartment was well kept, and clean, and most importantly it was close to the main attractions of the city. I would definitely recommend to a friend, and stay there myself again, if I was to return back to Budapest!

Location was great and had everything you needed to make some meals at home.

There was a lot of traffic noise but that is to be expected when you are right in the middle of all the activity. I would bring earplugs and you will enjoy a fantastic location.

Location was perfect. Walking distance to most tourist attractions.

Very, very noisy. The bathroom is very tiny. The flat is not in the real center, 20 min by walk.

Excellent location, friendly staff, great apartment! Nearby restaurants were fabulous. The walk to the chain bridge was undera minute as was the walk to the funicular to go up to the castle district. We were in the middle of everywhere we wanted to be. The building is also beautiful on the inside and the apartment has everything that one might need for anextended stay.
